Been going to complete auto for years, never had a bad experience. The problem gets fixed right every time. Honest work, fair prices.

I took my vehicle in for a problem and waited 5 hours without any call from the shop. I finally called them to find out my car had been sitting and they said nothing was wrong. There was an issue driving .5 miles to their shop. I understand the part I thought wasn't the issue, but the problem still remained even after them tightening something that solved the issue 90%. They considered that as done then failed to call again after I asked them to please drive on the highway to see if they could still locate the problem. They came highly recommended so I had high expectations that they would help me solve the problem. They did not want to help me track the problem down which wasted an entire day off then another week of driving unsafe until my regular mechanic could troubleshoot. Very disappointed in their professionalism over the phone as well.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Highly recommended! Once I found this place I had no need 2 go anywhere else. Master Mechanic is owner. Has a great professional attitude & is very kind & fair. The staff works well together. They stay busy because they do their job right & local clients come back.I moved out of state & Owner made sure my vehicle was fit for trip.

I brought my 2016 explorer to them for some warranty work on my water pump. While I was dropping it off Joe asked if we wanted them to do the timing chain also and that it wouldn't be covered by warranty because it wasn't broken and it would cost us $900 out of pocket. So I told him to only do what the warranty would cover.A few days later they contacted me to tell me that my $100 deductible had now turned into $288 because my warranty didn't cover 1 hour of labor and some gaskets. So I said that was ok and they could start the work and was told it would take about a week to complete.Fast forward a week later and the day they told me it would be done I get a call from Joe saying that the timing chain had failed after they put it back together and that the warranty would cover the timing chain but wouldn't cover 10 hours of labor and the truck wasn't running good and they can either put it back together and I'd have to have it towed or they can do the work but my bill is now $1288.Called the warranty company to ask about the not covered labor and they stated the the repair shop told them that they told me I needed a new timing chain and that I declined wanting that done too. I also then figured out that the day they called me to tell me the timing chain was bad is the day they added that to my claim through the warranty company. so because the original claim didn't include the timing chain, waterpump and all the labor I was stuck with the uncoved labor.Fast forward another week and we go to pick the vehicle up and noticed there were damages to the back of our vehicle that were not there when we dropped it off. I confronted the owner about the damages and he says there's no way that it could have happened in the shop and he would check his cameras to see what happened and than just walked away. I'll edit this when I get more info.Do not get work done by Joe, and do not take your vehicle to Complete Automotive Repair on Alpine.

I took my car in for overheating issues were four other mechanics took advantage of me and never fixed the problem I took it to complete auto and they could have took me for $1,500 but find the problem fixed it for $100 and it doesn't overheat or smell like fluid very honest

Fair prices, always get my car back the same day, if I bring it in first thing in the morning. Have used these guys for years. They treat you right. Repairs are great. One of the few places I personally highly recommend. They are my mechanics. Always will be.1/4/2024. Another great repair job. Honest, hardworking, efficient, just a group of well trained and friendly people. Will never go anywhere else.

Great service. Helpful, honest, decent people. I've gone here for decades. Its changed ownership but still has great people. They have always been great to work with and have kept me & my 20+yr vehicle going. I've tried places closer to home.. but once I found them, I have always found them worth the drive and wait. my first time using Complete, a family member has taken vehicle there before and recommended them. Had an oil pressure switch go bad on our van. The repair required removing the intake to access the switch. Joe did a great job on our van and made sure to communicate to me what was happening. Was able to get my car back the same day I dropped it off. Repair appears to be good and the price was reasonable for parts and labor.

This business and its employees have been extremely helpful and polite. My engine gave out and they have been very good to work with. Excellent communication, honest and friendly. The female receptionist and Joe have just been awesome to work with and talk to.Give them a chance! Repair shops can easily be dishonest with you, but this shop will take care of you.Matt

Great people here! I was impressed when I had a muffler done a while ago they recommended that I go with a more durable type instead of the absolute cheapest option. I m pretty sure it saved me a few years of repairs since the cheap ones look like tin cans & this one they got me was thick & strong. I ve been happy with their work ever since. Thanks guys! It may not be the prettiest of places but I don t mind since car repair places aren t known for that

We have been using Complete Automotive for all our vehicles repairs for many years. We have been very happy with the service and work completed. We appreciate their honesty, they never try to up sell or push you into work that is not needed. They stand behind their work as well. Our kids all use them and we have recommended them to several friends who are now regular customers as well. Thanks for the excellent service! :)

I needed my rear shocks and a brake line replaced and this shop quoted the best price and had my car ready in one day. To top it off, my radio (which didnt work for me before) now works! They were very nice too. Would recommend for sure :)

Great speedy service and fair prices! Stopped in because two service lights came on in my car. Dropped it off in the morning and picked it up that afternoon. I've taken my car here 3 times now and each time I am impressed. I have always gotten the work completed same day and the end cost is exactly what they quoted me. The woman who answers the phone is nice and is able to answer any questions I've had.

They did an excellent job on my Mazda Tribute! Finally someone figured out what was causing all my problems! Lo and behold it was the key!!! Excellent work, fast service and fair price! They re definitely gonna get my business from now on!

Came in for a brake line issue. Dropped my Fusion off in the morning and got a call an hour later explaining the problem and what they planned to do to fix it. Didn't try to sell me on further work just got things fixed and had the car back early that afternoon. Good quality local shop.

My favorite thing about C.A.R. is that they have a tow truck! With my old car, I often found myself stranded. I liked being able to only make one call to get my car towed and fixed. They always arrived in great time, and they always got my car back to me and on the road quite quickly. I have a different car now, which I recently brought in for brakes (and found out there was much more that needed fixing...isn't that always the case?!?! Ugh!). Lucky for me, I didn't need towing this time, but because of their 1st come, 1st serve policy, I was able to drop it off at my convenience. They got it back to me that same day, and although it cost me way more than anticipated, I'm happy to say that it is running well. Everyone here is knowledgeable, helpful, and respectful. I confidently recommend C.A.R. to those looking to get their vehicle(s) repaired. Thanks!

Had a fatal problem with my car that was identified here and I decided it best to scrap it. But I had recently gotten brand new tires on the car and wanted to swap the tires on to my parents car (same model). Mind you, this was swapping the tire and rim together, not separately. I was charged $60 for this, mostly because I did not have another option. Luckily I don't live around here but needless to say I won't be using this place again.

I have trusted them with my car for many separate issues. Each time, the problem is fixed well and I have no further problems. I find their prices to be fair, their work to be speedy and their manner to be professional and kind. I would recommend their business to anyone.

I really wish I could rate it negative stars because that s exactly what this place would get! I was recommended here by a friend so I had my vehicle towed in as it wasn t running. I paid around $1400 for them to change a fuel filter and fix a gas line, it took them almost a week to do this. When I picked my vehicle up the shop was closed, but my vehicle now runs way worse then it ever has before! On Monday morning ( the shop was closed over the weekend) when I called to tell them about what was going on they said they would look at my vehicle again but we re going to charge for anything else that was done to it... I am now with out a vehicle for the third week, out almost $1400 and now have to pay somewhere else to go in a fix the mess that they just made. Would not recommend this shop to even my worst enemy !!!

Matt the owner is the man. He is very honest and cares about people. He is very hot and has the most dreamy blue eyes. He always gives the best service. I had a fuel pump installed by CAR a few years back and paid what they asked (well over $400). Joe the tow guy did the work for me and my vehicle ran good for a while but in about a year the gas pump failed. This time I took my vehicle to be serviced by a different mechanic and found out Joe had installed not only a used gas pump but an older model.Be aware of Joe the tow guy he isn t the most honest guy of the bunch.

The service was recommended by CarMax. C.A.R. damaged our husband s car while performing a routine maintenance. They paid for the repair, but had to hold onto our car for several weeks while waiting for a new hood for our car. Despite causing damage to our car, the owner of C.A.R. refused to pay for a rental car, but thankfully CarMax offered to pay for a rental car so that my husband could get to and from work. I spoke with the owner of C.A.R. and he refused offer a discount on the routine maintenance for the inconvenience they caused claiming that them repairing what they damaged was sufficient. Carmax shouldn t have had to pay for anything, but they felt responsible for recommending the service. The owner at C.A.R. didn t offer anything as an apology for the damage they caused. I don t recommend people use their service.

This company is wonderful. Did a great job fixing my wife's car when it broke down on her. The mechanic was able to have it ready the next day and it cost us about 80 dollars less than the estimate.

I used to go here all the time. They did a good job and seemed honest. A year ago, I bought a late 90's Volvo so I found a experienced Volvo mechanic to handle most jobs. I did however, bring it in to C.A.R. in August for some front end brake work. I noticed shortly after, a rubbing sound in my front wheels (a common symptom of bad rotors). My Volvo mechanic noticed they were warped and suggested I have C.A.R. fix them since they had only been put on a couple months ago and were clearly still under warranty. I took it to C.A.R. After the inspection they told me I needed new tie rods but that the rotors were fine so they would not honor the warranty. The tie rods have since been replaced and guess what? The rubbing sound has now advanced to a violent shake whenever I hit the brakes. My Volvo mechanic verified that yes, I had bad rotors and now I'm most likely passed the warranty period. It's really disappointing because I liked C.A.R. for many years but I will never go there again. I know nothing about working on cars so I need to rely on my mechanic to do an honest and thorough job and sadly, I've lost that with C.A.R.

Someplace else gave me the diagnoses of a busted head gasket. Said 1800. Came here found out that wasnt even close and got the job done for a very fair price!!! Was above and beyond happy with the service and work that was provided.

Car broke down. needed a new alternator and some other things done to it. I was hesitant to go to a new auto shop but due to financial reasons tried these guys out. It might be to early to tell as just got my car back but so far no complaints. I felt the work will hold up and the cost was fair. Thanks to all who worked on my car!! Will bring future business here if necessary.

This is the auto repair shop I have been using for probably 10 years now. Great management and the mechanics know their stuff. Honest and do not try and sell you something just to make some money off you.Last week took my 2010 Equinox in cause it had developed a noise that I could not tell just what it was. They took it for a ride. Checked under the hood. Put it up on the hoist and the only thing they could find was where the exhaust pipe had come loose going into the muffler. Told me they could weld that up. Was showing a little maybe around the catalytic converter as well. So welded both up. Total time in was over an hour. How much was I charged? Nothing. $0.00. THis is how you keep your customers coming back. Thanks guys:-))
