Very satisfied with the work that Christian Brothers Automotive did on my truck. They had great availability and were very thorough in diagnosing what the problem was. I found their communication to be great. I often don't have time to make phone calls so I enjoyed the texting and email options.

Christian Brothers (Dave) were awesome as usual with my Jeep situation. They got me in four days sooner than the dealership could and it was ready for me the next day. I loved the all points diagnosis link they provide with written explanations, videos and pics to show and explain what needs to be addressed, why it s important, when it should be done along with estimates.They needed to replace my whole clutch in my Jeep, when I drove it away I thought I was driving a new vehicle. The clutch never felt that good even after I bought in 2011 (a few yrs old).These mechanics you can trust!

I have a 2009 Grand Jeep Cherokee with a HEMI. I ve gotten major work done with them last year and went back this year for some things. I definitely plan on going back to complete some final touches. I m very pleased and would recommend Christian Brothers for all your automotive needs.

Dave at desk was very kind, knowledgeable & helpful. They are very thorough. I love the way they take pictures of everything they inspect on my car & share pics with me as well as condition or if needs work or not.

Christian Brothers Automotive, like to make you or force you fix things on your car, you don't wanna fix. I GOT THE AUDIO RECORDING TO PROVE IT! Christian Brothers Automotive, They came up with a excuse saying it safety hazard. And we HAVE to fix it. And we don't wanna ruin our reputation. Okay fine, make people sign disclaimers one that issue. You don't tell consumer what YOU have to fix... I HAVE a right to seek a cheaper prize! You can strongly advise...yes! I record company like this. and yes acknowledge me recording... I'm gonna get in touch with crop.. with this. KINDA like violating your right in a way.

I brought my 370Z in for an oil change. Jay and Dave were very polite and informative regarding options for my vehicle. In my short stay I was offered complementary beverages and updates about my cars progress. Highly recommended if you re willing to pay just a touch more for great customer service, non-shady car work, and peace of mind when it comes to your cars health.Service: Oil change

Christian Brothers Automotive in Grand Rapids, MI lied to my face about needing a set of 4 new tires.I went to the dealership for 2nd opinion and was told the tires were fine for a bit longer.Just bc they re a Christian business doesn t mean they act Christ-like.

I worked with Fred and he gave me incredible service. From the initial phone call to schedule a time to bring it in I felt cared for, and never felt pressured. Incredibly friendly, easy to work with, trustworthy, and affordable pricing. Fred was able to have my car fully repaired within 24 hours. He kept me updated, and gave me a great guarantee on my new brakes, belt and battery. I d recommend Fred to anyone and will come back and ask for him whenever my car needs work done. I cannot express how thankful I am for the work they did!

UPDATE: Gave them another try and they were awesome! Very helpful and went out of their way to get me the info I needed. They were not able to help because the parts I need aren't made anymore. They will do whatever they can for you though!!I didn't use this business because they never gave me the opportunity. I called for a quote on specific work I knew needed done. The computers were down so they asked if they could call me back when the computers were working again. Never heard anything. I called back a couple of days later because I hadn't heard anything. I was told the gentleman who took my first call was busy and he would call, or probably text me the quote. I received neither. I have no idea how their work is because the customer service is so poor I took my vehicle to a shop down the road. A shop that returned my calls promptly.

They make taking my car there convenient and easy. I'm always happy with their service. They have extremely helpful staff, great ownership and pricing, and are very trustworthy. You can't go wrong taking your vehicles to Christian Brothers of Grand Rapids!

ADDED **** The response from owner is not true. They did not quote me on tires, and other fixes. I paid $643 for the cheapest option of back brakes ONLY, and that was after I asked for a cheaper option of brakes when quoted $1700 for all 4. Now you are saying for $1700, I could have got all 4 brakes, other fixes, and new tires? ********* Be Careful *** Was quoted $1,700 for a front and back brake job on a 2014 Ford F-150 in May 2023. Decided to only do the back and paid $643 for the cheapest option of brakes they had. Was told the elevated prices were due to inventory issues dating back to 2020. Got inspected and front brakes looked at elsewhere and found out I could have got the whole job done for $550-700. *** ADDED ****Service: Brakes

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!!Especially if you are a female (young or old).I was recommended from an oil change shop to bring my car here. I was told that the staff members are good people and that they all go to church together. I was also told that they wouldn't take advantage of me because I'm a young female in college or screw me over.I ended up bringing my car here last week, and they essentially wanted to replace a sizable portion of my transmission, with a $4,500 estimate. I took it to another shop in Grand Rapids because this didn't seem right to me, and they claimed that both their estimation and the problem were entirely incorrect. In the end, I just had to replace a little component for only $500.Seeing other reviews for this shop this doesn't seem out of the blue from this place to do this to people.Please save yourself the $150 inspection fee and excessive (and false) estimate prices from this company. It disturbs me to think that they intended to use a young female (or anyone else) for their financial gain.

First and last time coming here. When you try and charge 1500$ to replace a windshield wiper motor and the part from the dealer is only 477$ , how do you justify a thousand dollars for labor. It takes 2 hours max to change the motor.They seem to have spent more time doing a courtesy check and finding oils that needed changing than trying to fix my wipers.What a shame!!On a positive note everyone was friendly.

I had a moon roof repaired for leaking.. They took almost 3 hours, used over a quarter tank of my gas to joy ride, & cost almost $200, just to have it leak a week later again.. Terrible service, & kind of rude as well after the service.. not to mention all my settings had been reset... Why is this?? Hmmm..

I had a great experience with Christian Brothers!I had to tow my car here after an unfortunate experience with a different dealership and they were very courteous and professional. They took the time to listen to me and were very polite.I asked them to document all that they did and they provided great notes and photos. They have an online portal service that I was impressed by, as well as their updates via text.Would highly recommend!Service: Vehicle Inspection

Brought in Ford 150 quoted and paid $1,000 to fix issues with coolant leaking. After brining the truck back for the third time for continuous leaking coolant issues and a deeper check of the issue, found out, there is an engine issue and have been quoted $6,000 for a new engine. Sure, if you dig deeper into the issue you are going to find more problems. Took the truck and went home. I'm not giving more money. We have nothing to show for it but my son's empty bank account because he paid for most of it on his own.

Went in for power steering pump and lines. Got it back still leaking fluid, they found other lines leaking they replaced every thing they needed to. No cost to me. Great place to get your auto repaired. DO NOT GO HERE! I just brought my Jeep in to get issues checked out, it cost me over $200 just to get looked at. After about a day they called and told me my transmission is bad and it will cost almost $12000. Everyone I asked said that was excessive for a transmission repair first of all, and second the worse part is after I got a second opinion they said it wasn t even my transmission it was a electrical issues and I got the issues fixed for $1137 and my Jeep has been fine since..DONT TELL SOMEONE SOMETHING LIKE THAT IF YOU DONT KNOW FOR SURE BECAUSE NOW YOUR EITHER A LIER OR YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

They were professional and a great help! They were genuine and actually wanted to help me. They went over everything with me and there were no surprise charges. Easily the best experience I've ever had at any auto mechanic shop in Grand Rapids. Christian Brothers communicated clearly and timely on the needs of my vehicle. Austin was extremely helpful and professional. I needed the job done that day and Austin was able to make it happen for me and my business. Thank you Christian Brothers for a job well done. DO NOT USE. Recommended by insurance after the Kia Boys got me, they took THREE MONTHS to fix my vehicle and once I finally got it back, it randomly stalls on me while driving, and they claim there's nothing they can do to fix it. My previously extremely reliable car is now terrifying to drive. Terrible experience and communication. Steer clear of this shop.

I'm so thankful for the help today. AAA kept me waiting 4 hours, but when I finally got my vehicle to you guys, it was done and ready in an hour! I couldn't believe it. Thank you for the speedy service getting me back on the road. I was having the worst day and really thought I'd be out another whole day of work. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Dylan was so kind during my multiple calls and lots of questions. The gentleman with him at the counter when I picked up was super friendly too, I wish I caught his name. I left this 5 star review 3 days ago when I brought my car in. In that 3 day span they managed to be so great I wish I could add more stars! When I say this shop really tries and cares for the people it helps I mean it! They helped show each problem with my car minor big everything then helped me with the price a little so I could actually afford the bill. Then they gave me a ride home and picked me back up when it was ready been driving all day and really happy with how it feels and runs and can definitely tell work was done. They helped me make a hard decision with knowledgeable guys in there. I appreciate this shop and will not be using any other shop ever again! You guys got me for life! Thanks again.
