This place did a phenomenal job on our family's truck after a deer collision. Took extra special care of details we couldn't even notice until pointed out, and even addressed the custom fender cuts on the new bumper to fit the oversized tires. They also shined up the entire exterior of the truck before returning it. Was extremely easy to work with us and our insurance company. Friendly, hassle free, and above exceptional service.

I've had two vehicles worked on by CARSTAR76. In both cases, the team was very communicative and helpful. Coordination between myself, the body shop, and Progressive Insurance was very easy.Unfortunately, one of the two cars was deemed a total loss so repairs were not done. On the other vehicle, however, the end result of the vehicle was well done and we've had no issues since.No one wants to need a body shop but, if you do find yourself in that situation, I highly recommend the team at CARSTAR 76.

Good exterior work but they damaged the interior. Rear passenger carpet was ripped out, leaving me with a mat and plastic lock. There were leftover materials on the rear floorboard. The car had a chemical smell for a few days after delivery. Passenger interior trim was not assembled correctly and when I took it off I found a broken plastic tab. Car was delivered a day late and I was not given a reason to the delay. Had to call multiple times to get timing for delivery. Seemed rushed at the end. Would not recommend.

This is the second time using CarStar and the service is excellent! They worked with Enterprise Rental Car across the street and it was a breeze to pick up and drop off the car. Great service from both companies. Everyone is very friendly and detailed. Thank you for taking extra care of us!

Great service! They were open communication wise and explained to me what work needed to be done. I also needed to pick up my golf clubs from the backseat and they accommodated that for me.

Got quotes at 3 different places and they all wanted to replace the entire bumper. CarStar was able to fix it without replacing it and kept the cost low. Would highly recommend! Also nice receiving ETA updates via text.

Hit a deer about a month ago. Car Star was extremely helpful and got me back on the road in a great time frame. Process was smooth and simple from drop off to pick up and my car looks almost brand new:)

I recently had a claim for vandalism and through my insurance and CARSTAR s speed at the claims process I had my car in and out within the matter of a few days. It was great to be able to have my car back in such a timely manner.

They were very kind and understanding when we had concerns about progress and diagnosis of damage. The work was very well done! They also cleaned the vehicle inside and out... and the inside was needing it - surprised to say the least

Did an amazing job fixing my Kia! Staff was super friendly and very easy to not only work with but communicate with.Thank you again! Looks and drives goodUpdate: After a week of having my car I noticed a slight noise whenever I was on the highway sounded like plastic hitting something. I took it for an oil change 4/14 and come to find out they didn t hang my paneling properly. They did offer to fix it though.

I FINALLY got my truck back from the auto body place. First off, I had to schedule it almost 2 months out, but I can understand that since everyone is backed up. I dropped it off on September 11th. They originally guestimated that they'd have it done in 4 or 5 days to a week. After the first week of not hearing anything, I drove my wife's vehicle over there after hours and it was just sitting in the parking lot, no work done. Let's just say that we REALLY could've used that functioning vehicle that week. MY wife has work meetings, the kids have sports, I had meetings I needed to drive to. The morning after I saw it was just sitting in the lot, I dropped by to talk to them and ask why no work had been done yet. The guy/ estimator admitted that they were really backed up and my truck kept getting bumped because other cars kept being towed in and he said the insurance company wanted them to be done first. That doesn't make any sense. I reminded him that, "Insurance is paying for my truck, too. They should've just been put in line after mine." The guy tells me it's not going to be ready for 2 more weeks. Then offers to reschedule it out a month instead. I asked him, what guarantees do I have that they just won't do the same thing again in a month? He didn't have an answer. I decided to leave it there and wait. I mentioned to him that if it wasn't done when he said this time, I'd be very upset when I returned. His estimated done-date was the 29th. They almost had it finished on the 26th, but the technician reassembling the truck re-scratched the door and they had to repaint it again. UGH! Anyway, it was done exactly 1 day before he told me. They had it 17 days. To make it worse, my wife's vehicle was on the Fritz and it really needed to be brought to the repair shop, so we were always worried that it was going to break down at any minute. After getting the truck back, a day later, I noticed that they forgot to reinstall the step board on the repair side, so I had to bring it back AGAIN. I thought the repair cost was really high. A minor scratch/dent down the passenger side was $3,800.00 to repair. Were not taking major repairs here. If it wasn't for insurance, I probably wouldn't have fixed it. Oddly enough, they came highly recommended by our insurance company. They were very nice and did a decent job, but they are like 90% of businesses in West Michigan... the best of intentions and zero follow-through.

Great service if you can get in. I had to schedule somebody to just look at my car after an accident for two weeks afterwards. But, I know they stand behind their work and they are a preferred company for my insurance carrier.

At a loss ?, brought in perfect running truck with bump on hood,no engine light on ever, its on now, cannot accelerate truck, hood is repaired, looks good, truck is messed up somehow though

Tl;dr: excellent for body work and painting. Not so excellent for mechanical issues (at least on uncommon foreign cars). Great customer service.They did a fantastic job with the body work after I was in an accident. It looks perfect, like new. However, there were issues with the suspension/axle from my accident that weren't completely repaired. They were very friendly and fixed something they missed for free. My car was still making weird noises, and when I took it to another shop for an unrelated problem, they found some serious issues in the safety inspection that should have been seen by the folks working on it here. I've been back here again for the noise, and they are being very communicative and helpful. It's frustrating that it wasn't right the first time and that I have to keep coming back. I am less frustrated because they have been excellent at communicating with me and are not charging me for any of the work/inspection because it should have been done when I first brought it in.Just beware if you have a car that isn't very common in this area - I think that's the core of the issue for me and my car here.This is getting long, but I want to add that I feel very respected and heard when I talk to the guys from the shop side of things about my car. As a woman, it seems common for men to speak down to me or to assume I don't know anything about cars. That is not the case here at all. I am taken seriously, and that means a lot to me.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Painting, Body & Trim
