I purchased a Mercedes Sprinter van from Camping World Grand Rapids. The whole experience from beginning to end was flawless. Each sales associate was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I am new to camping and everyone was so patient and answered all of my questions. The location itself is impeccably maintained. Mitch and Caleb were fabulous sales associates. Mary was like my own personal shopper helping me with certain must have accessories. Chandler went above and beyond explaining every aspect of the RV to a newbie. Then there was Marina who because of her introduced me to the limitless possibilities of owning an RV and perfectly orchestrated the entire process.

Well when I went through the purchase process everything was fine, but when the camper was delivered the vent cove was open and broke. Zach the salesman said he would get a replacement for me I thought great and order me a camper cover as well. It's been two months now no replacement vent cover or camper cover cover. I have texted him several times and he said it will be shipped immediately, still have not received it.

For two years my husband and I have been working towards a goal of buying a travel trailer and living in it for one year or more. We have studied many floorplans and many different brands of campers. We decided to go to Camping world and Grand Rapids since they are nationwide and we will also be. Our sales person was Michael Lemmons. He was fantastic! He listened to our list of needs which was long. The finance manager Glen, the delivery department, Marlin and Hannah, the tour and treatment we received was all outstanding. Please enjoy the pictures and go to Camping world and pick out an amazing new or used camper.

What a fantastic experience. Camping World of Grand Rapids had the exact model we were looking for. We live 8 hours away in WNY and had to rely on the staff to get us good pictures and videos to view. Phil our sales guy knocked it out of the park. He answered all questions we had and made the process very smooth and easy. We drove 8 hours with our 5th wheel in tow to trade in on a class a. When we arrived at 1:45am we were able to park and sleep in the 5th wheel one last time right in the parking lot thanks to their accommodations for travelers. At opening 9am sharp we walked in and were greeted at the front desk by a couple very nice ladies who let our salesman Phil know we were there. Now we were hours early to our appointment but the great staff accommodated us so we could get back on the road home. The whole process was flawless. Our walk through was great and the service tech was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, answering any questions we had. The finance guy Brantley was very friendly and helpful, he explained everything clear and simple. The numbers and information we were given before we drove there were spot on. Brantley also explained new offers from Good Sam since things have changed from our first purchase at our local CW which was very impressive. Huge thank you to Hannah she was amazing and super helpful, she ran around getting things in order for us and assisted us with the mattress swap. My wife and I want to thank the entire staff at Grand Rapids Camping World for their help and friendly service. It has been the best experience we ve ever had at a dealership. The facility is amazing clean and well stocked. Again thanks for everything. If we ever find ourselves in the area again we will definitely stop in to say hi.If you re considering doing business with this location don t hesitate do to foul comments in the review section. We have found that many people cause their own issues and take it out on businesses with bad reviews. We read the reviews and decided to see for ourselves and boy I m glad we did. 100% satisfied and can t say enough about how great everything was.

Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. They were all very friendly. Our salesman Robert Wensel was great and very informative. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Quick to help and very knowledgeable staff made this visit super fast and easy. I didn't look at the campers, but was only interested the Camping World store itself. At first the set up seemed somewhat haphazard, but after a short search the logical setup allowed me to find what I was looking for very quickly. I'd advise becoming a Sam Goody member before going, the savings is worth it!

We have shopped at the Grand Rapids, MI location for a few items in the past and the retail experience has been good each time. Recently I stopped in to order a part and use the dump station, which has a very reasonable fee and is right off the highway- a great find in this area! While waiting for the station our RV had a malfunction, but Kyle and Hank from service were kind enough to troubleshoot the issue and get me on my way. I had opportunity to speak with Kyle for a few minutes and now I feel very confident about returning to Camping World for service or any other needs we have. Definitely will go back again, thanks fellas!

Awful! Multiple issues with new Coleman trailer. They do nothing that they say they do. Trailer in fir repair? We ask, tested? Assured it was. Bologna!! Liars! Scammers! They'd not stand behind one word. Salesman is nothing but a bag of hot air. Zero follow through. He is enjoying his commission. We are not enjoying our new trailer with multiple safety issues. Just a sample.

We drove six hours to the Grand Rapids location to pick up a pre-owned camper. My wife and I had the pleasure to meet the most friendly and knowledgeable Sales Associate, Robert Wensel. Our experience with Mr. Wensel was over the top! He made sure we had all resources available to us during our time there. The weather and road conditions in the area were less than ideal, and Robert even called while on our journey back home to check on us. Shout out to Hank in the Service department as well. Thanks, your expertise is greatly appreciated! Great staff with a high focus on safety, now that s complete customer service!

Update - Kyle the manager called and is going to make it right!I purchased a Winnebago Navion used from the Grand Rapids location. It s a great RV but the Sensor for the holding tank for the grey water doesn t work. I live 2 1/2 hours from there, brought it back to them to fix the sensor. They had the vehicle for three weeks, They said they were still waiting on parts two weeks in a row. I already had a trip planned and Explained to them that I was going to come pick it up as is without the repair Because I was going on the trip. I spoke to a manager named Kyle, who said he was going to try to see what he could do, the repair was already approved by the warranty department. I got a phone call back, and they said they found parts locally to fix the sensor. They then had it for a few more days to replace the part, I asked my service rep Raiden, to please fill the RV with propane and water as I was leaving for a trip as soon as I picked it up. As I pick up the RV and Go to leave I ask about the propane and he said oh they didn t fill it. You just need to drive over to the retail area and they ll fill it for you. Fine, so I go get the propane filled. Should ve checked the water before I drove away as there was no water in the tank whatsoever. So how did they check the grey tank sensor was Working properly after repaired? Well, it s not, the grey sensor still doesn t work! Just a lot of time and money spent going back-and-forth to get the vehicle to and from Grand Rapids with no actual repair.

Excited to have bought a new, budget-conscious camper from here. Word to the wise: I was an incredibly novice buyer with an excellent credit score. It was so easy to befriend the sales team, but less easy to decipher what they were trying to sell me. In hindsight, it'd be so easy to save money by avoiding the legion of upselling options that they try so suavely to purvey. Just be frank with their well-orchestrated sales team and say no from the get-go, and save yourself anxiety.Service department came across as unbiased, helpful, and legitimately friendly. Our orientation guide was extremely helpful and very frank, hence the second star.Be smart: they're there to make their dollars, not to be your best friend.

My wife and I stopped into camping world to get a good feel for what would fit our family best, Michael Lucas was our sales rep. He was the best to work with, never pushy, very knowledgeable and showed us what would fit our family the best!!I highly highly recommend him for any sales. He is a blessing at camping world and he is doing great things for that company!!

The sales staff led by Joe and handled by Collin Roof was outstanding. I started the buying process while on vacation and not able to view the FOREST RIVER WILDCAT 260RD in person so Joe had Collin show me the 5th wheen by video call. Collin was very patient and answered all my questions and I decided to purchase the 5th wheel. Joe and Collin continued to work with me after i returned from vacation to ensure I got the best possible deal for my money.Once I arrived at the Grand Rapids, Michigan dealership I was greeted warmly and was shown the 5th wheel by the support staff led by Hanna Haven. Hanna's energy and enthusiasm for her job was impressive. My truck was outfitted at the dealership for a 5th wheel and I was given expert instruction on how to connect and disconnect the 5th wheel RV.From sales to finance to support staff this dealership worked as a team to make sure I was treated as a valued customer. This Camping World dealership at Grand Rapids, Michigan sets the bar for other dealerships to follow.Well done and thank you.Dennis S.

09/23/23. Yet another issue. None of the windows in our camper had been caulked. I really don't know what they inspect at Camping World.. Plus we told Camping World multiple times the quick connect hose did not work. They even tried to charge us for fixing. After they said it was fixed still didn't work. Took to another camping place and they fixed it. They didn't even charge us.We bought a camper in April. Took it out on 4th of July week. First storm it rained inside our camper from the slide out. Called Camp America when they opened. Service dept answered the phone I explained what happened and they said they will call me right back. I waited they 3 hours and called again. I got their voicemail. Left a message and waited another 2 hours nothing. Called our salesman his reply what do you want me to do it about it, I haven't had lunch yet. That is right you got your commission and no longer care. Finally at 6:00 I got hold of the service dept. Nothing we can do this week. Drop it off after you are done with camping. From there is been nothing but a nightmare. One week with no calls from them. Finally I had to start calling because we another trip scheduled and paid for. There communication is terrible Have to call multiple times a day and never receive a call back. We have asked for a quote for slide topper multiple times and it has been 2 weeks. Still no quote. Their Customer service sucks. I told them about the bad experience we had we a previous camping place. They promised that would not happened. Camp America is worse with communication. I will never buy another camper from them.

All I can say is that I ve had nothing but problems with this camper that we purchased at the beginning of 2022. We currently have a sink with no faucet because whoever Adam Duiven is that works in the service dept Never returned my phone calls or my emails to get this camper scheduled for repairs. I also spoke to a female that works there that was supposed to follow up and never returned a follow up call. Today I finally went to use our freshwater tank and as I was filling the tank there is a cut on the fill hose near the backside of the water heater and it filled my whole compartment and all our belongings full of water. I should have purchased my third camper from Veurinks. At least they were decent enough to follow up and make the repairs necessary. They charge you $950 to do a pre-delivery inspection.

Our family is looking to purchase a camper in the next year.Even though Keith Williams, our RV Sales associate knew we weren't there to purchase, he spent the time walking around the lot and answering all our questions. We didn't feel pressured into anything and he was very relatable and professional. We kept his card and are posting it here to hopefully help someone else who may be looking! One of the great selling points Keith pointed out was the fact that Camping World has locations all around the United States. For service or assistance, that many locations would come in handy. Thanks Keith for your time and dedication and making this a great starting point for us!

So greatly disappointed in our experience! We went very open & honest if we couldn t get what we wanted in our budget it was ok. We spent hours waiting for financial to respond if it s possible. They came back no. So said ok and left the store. In the parking lot the sales man comes running out management said they ll make it happen. My husband asked within our budget? He said yes. We spent more hours waiting for financing to do paper work. Total of 6 hours in store!!! We get an email congrats on new camper got financed send paperwork. We did it. Every time we sent in paper work we didn t get a response that it was received and had to ask several times. The day before we are to go buy the new camper my husband couldn t get a call back to make sure all set. I had to email managers to get a response. 30 mins before close we get a call have to have $9,000 more down and $200 over our budget a month! Unacceptable! We had all ready moved and emptied our camper off the site based on email that said all finance was set & had campgrounds cut a tree so new one would fit. I made complaints to cooperate and regional because this is bad business! I did get a call from manager would give me a new camper but still over budget and not the layout I want. You don t tell us can do it and then be so far off the agreement! I am getting a new camper & will never buy from them for their snake like behavior!

Not much good to say about this place. Made a appointment for my trailer 6 months in advance. Brought it in and they said they don t see me in the system but they could get me in. Got my quote and they said it would be done that week . Almost 2 months later lol I had to call and ask about my trailer. Apparently my sales person went on vacation and forgot to hit send on her email. Still no word back about a part that was not in either I m sure I will not hear from them. If so I will not be deal with them ever again. Please save yourself a headache and bring your trailer or rv somewhere else for service.October 20 another disappointment from camping world mom took her motor home to get winterized. It was told it would be ready in a week. Of course it took two weeks and we had to wait until the employee helped her to pick it up! Place is ridiculous.

I feel that once we were sold our 5th wheel, there was no more communication. Service is no longer a priority. I just spent 55,000.00 cash, and you take 4 days to get back to me.

Nice to see happy faces! It's far more fun to shop/buy when the employees are relaxed and professional. Store is clean with great selection of products. Sales team is friendly and has options if what you want isn't available. Service was able to answer my technical questions with ease.

brought the camper in for repair, asked the service advisor about if the extended warranty is transferable, she said she'd find out. but didn't bother to ask about it until we came back - she called Marcus, the finance manager who answered, said "fifty dollars" and hung up. None of us knew what that meant so I sent an email to reach out today, Marcus did not email me back but I got an offer from camping world to buy my camper, which I was absolutely not my question. called today and asked if I wanted to leave a message, but something told me I would not get a call back so I called a different store. So I guess the moral is this guy doesn't care about unless you're signing papers.

First we drove 6 hours to get to that location to pickup our camper because they were the only location that had the exact one we wanted. So let's begin I walked in the store to the front desk where I meet the receptionist and they called Adam our salesman he came up after about 5 minutes (to long to wait he knew exactly what time we scheduled to be there) he finally came up and introduced himself and after a brief conversation he dipped and completely abandoned me his customer and pushed me off to the parts/install coordinator completely unprofessional.Next the parts/ install coordinator girl took us to the mechanics bay/ staging area that's where our camper was for the demo and introduced us to Joey (this person was the best and most professional person there) and I asked them about the R3 weight distribution/sway control hitch they had supposedly ordered 6/4 and it would be there on 6/11 so we could pickup our camper at that point we where pushed off to Joey he did the demo showed me how everything worked and answered all my questions really professional he was after he was done we went to start signing the paperwork for the camper and while this was going on the WDH/Sway control wad to be installed, now the fun and where it all goes to hell in a hand basket the finance officer pushed through the paperwork quickly and again pushed us off to no one this time after a bit I went and talked to the finance person he said just to walk back out to the camper keep in mind we had to walk into the mechanics bay unsupervised with no escort in the state I live in that's a big NO for insurance purposes and probably a huge OSHA violation on Camping Worlds part now the hitch was never installed the parts/install coordinator said at this point they had over nighted the part through FedEx Wednesday to be there for Friday so now I've caught them in a lie I got 2 different order dates now none of the Camping World personal showed any concern for the predicament they had put us in they expected us to drive home through 2 states without this very important WDH/Sway control it is a huge safety concern without that part again no concern on there part after showing my frustration and concern they finally gave me a cheap counter part that got us home safely. So to bring this horrible experience to an end DO NOT BUY anything from Camping World Grand Rapids Michigan. They are liars no honesty and show zero concern for there business ethics, each individual person was in it for themselves there is no teamwork there the salesman Adam should have followed us and been there from start to finish pathetic excuse for a company all about the money oh and the worst the store manager Russ I believe his name was seen and heard the concerns from my wife and he tucked tail and ran away I'll never do business with them ever again hopefully whom ever reads this will think very hard and do there research and go to a different location. Also they never washed the camper or cleaned the inside out absolutely no detail was done.Happy camping to all.

We're shopping for a new travel trailer. We didn't get past reception. They want to take photo copies of our driver licenses before we can speak to a salesman. This is for "liability" in this age of ID theft. Funny, none of the other RV Stores are asking for this. We won't be back.

We shopped at #campingworld because a family member had purchased from the "other large" RV dealer in Michigan and had a very disappointing experience. We purchased from Camping World because we could tell right away they valued our interest. Jeffery Richter was very easy to interact with, was very helpful walking us through the purchase process going the extra mile and came in on his day off when we took delivery of our Passport. So far being members of the Good Sam Club has been interesting and look forward to traveling in 2020 and planning the trips through them.If i have any disappointment with Camping World it would be ordering products online. This could use work, but then again we all can't be like Amazon.

My wife and I are selling our house, we accepted an offer, went to camping world and went through the process of getting fitted for a camper we wanted. The salesman gave us some figures on paper that I didn't think were reasonable with the $5000 to $10,000 down payment we were ready to give so I told the salesman to not run our information and we would come back at a later date, he agreed and walked away, then came back with another guy that tried to run our credit again and I also told him not to go forward at this time. Shortly after my wife and I left they ran our information anyway after they were asked not to twice . I am now seeking legal counsel !

The entry door handle of our Coachman RV broke. Camping World in GR sold us the replacement handle and installed it for us. The following weekend at our camp site the door would not open. We had to use the cab doors to enter and exit. We contacted Camping World in GR and were told they don t do modifications .Poor customer service- we won t be using them again.

My wife and I have had a fantastic experience with Camping World purchasing our new 2019 Thor motorhome!!! We worked with Scooter (Scott Kotrch) and he was for sure in our corner and wanted to make sure we got what we needed and was a great advocate for us through the process. I HIGHLY recommend working with him! Also, JEFF (last name wasn't given to us) is the guy you want to ask for to have him give you the orientation. He was amazing. RECORD IT! We have owned ours motorhome for 1 week and have referenced the video when unsure of things multiple times. He walks you through EVERYTHING and you will want to record it so you can reference it. He never once made us feel stupid either. 30amp vs 50amp vs 120v....how the heck are you suppose to keep it all straight??? Jeff will help ;-)

I would have loved to have done business with this company. The distance was just too much of a factor. Ian's videos were an indispensable tool in making our selection. Thank you soo much. We love our Sonic Camper
