I limped my Foxbody there after throwing a belt on Alpine Ave in rush rush hour traffic. They took care of me on the spot. Its the best customer service I've ever had, not to mention they have skill and ability and know their craft.. Absolutely impressive and much appreciated. I highly recommend

Butches went above and beyond with my faulty car shield warranty that I wouldn t recommend my wife car held up their hoist for two mos trying to get corrected engine the team over at butches bent over backwards to help get my wife car back on the road great costumer service and friendly staff highly recommended thanks butch and team

I only take my vehicles to Butch s and recommend everyone do the same. They are quick and honest, along with being reasonably priced. Butch s will let you know what needs to be done and what can wait. I went to Butch's to see if they could take a look at my Trans am, as I was having issues with my distributor. Butch informed me it would be a while until he could look at it as they were busy with the holiday (labor day) approaching. He let me pick his brain for a while as it was ultimately a small issue. By his words of wisdom she's up and running. I know exactly where I'm taking my vehicles next time there's something I can't handle!

My car needed an oil change. The guys were quick and efficient and didn't try to upsell me on anything. We plan to come back here for repairs as we need them. Thx Butch's!

Had my car towed here and was promised my car would be looked at the very next day. Three days later (zero communication until this point) I finally heard from them. Go to pick up my car, there s two men behind the counter, neither greeted me, then proceeded to ask me the same question three times as if he wasn t paying attention. The other man literally just stared at me for minutes with his jaw gapping open. It was one of the most uncomfortable, unprofessional and disrespectful situations I ve dealt with. My opinion: not a female friendly place.

Butch's complete car care went above and beyond to help my son with his power steering issue. Being that he is a college student and I'm 2 hours away, it was incredible knowing that they took care of him as if I was there. Thank you for such wonderful, customer service.S. Davis

Amazing service! My first time here, the guys totally helped me out with my flat tire and even did a quick oil change. Next time I needed service on my Buick I came right back. Everyone here makes you feel more than welcome. Highly recommend. Thank you!!

Extremely over priced. Still charged me $80 for a diagnostic fee even though I got my vehicle repaired there. I got my spark plugs replaced and 1 coil pack and was charged $635. They mark up the parts extremely high and their repair fees are ridiculous. Take your car elsewhere.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

I decided to go to Butches because of the great reviews but will not return. Extremely poor communication. I was told what was going to be done to my car was going to take a few hours that led to my car being there for over a week, the price basically doubling and the only time I would get any updates on my car was when I would call them which happened several times because I was so in the dark about what the hell is going on. The responses that I got were the part got lost coming from the part store and they're trying to track it down between delivery drivers the next story was that they kept getting sent the wrong part from the different auto parts stores and then lastly they went through the dealership to get the part which ended up costing me double without my knowing so. It's probably a good idea to inform your customers the price is going to double before you do the work and keep them informed. I understand things happen and it takes longer sometimes but this was poor customer service in my opinion. Very let down.

My family has been talking our cars to Butch s for the past couple years. They have always exceeded our expectations. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and their prices are very reasonable. I also really appreciate that they offer free pick up and delivery which relieves me of taking time off work.

I ve been a Uber driver for year and a half and I had numerous break downs and car issues. I had great trouble finding a shop I felt I could trust, till I found Butch s. They re fast, professional and affordable with some the best service I ve seen. When I left and found I still had issues I called them back and they had it fixed in less than 10mins. I can t recommend them more highly. They are far and away the best mechanics in Grand Rapids

The guys at Butch s have my full trust. As a woman, I often feel that auto repairmen dumb things down, or try to take advantage of me. I have never felt that way at Butch s. They take very good care of me and my wife s cars, and they explain everything in detail. They always give us a comprehensive diagnostic, as well as any and all available options.

Butch's made me feel like I came to the right place as soon as I walked in. They're friendly and down-to-earth. The owner walked me through what all was wrong with my car and even brought me out into the garage to show me exactly what was going on. They take care of cars as if they were their own. I will definitely be coming back!!

Shady people for sure!! I would never recommend them to my worst enemy! In fact, we were out of a working vehicle for 9 months because of them! Sold us a junk yard engine! Oh and let's not forget that they could have caused an electrical fire in our vehicle by their negligence! (Which was thankfully caught in time by a proper mechanic)They are absolutely horrible to work with and their shady business practices will catch up to them one day! Do not bring your vehicle here unless you want to be lied to and taken advantage of!

Shady! This is what happened to a close friend: We took in a Jeep due to smoke coming from engine compartment and a loud noise from the rear. They told us it was the oil pan and rear differential and that they had repaired both. Go to leave and the car won't start, battery was dead. Go back in and instead of trying to jump it or explain why they left it dead after repair they tell us it's a bad battery and they will install a new one for a discounted price. $175 later (obviously not a discounted price) they send us on our way. Less than a block down the road the smoke starts again (leading us to believe they didn't even test drive after repair) so we go back and they tell us they will bring it back in and figure out the issue, which is the same issue we brought it in for in the first place. They finally found what was causing the smoke, but after all the issues to get to that point we won't ever be going back.

Worst auto shop they started on my car and then called the police and turned me away with out a reason. I don't know what they did to my car, or anything.

Fun group of guys to work with! Super friendly and knowledgeable. As a female, I have had plenty of issues with mechanics and I feel like these guys are pretty straight shooters that are very upfront about suggestions but also will tell you if it s something that can be held off on.

Phil and the guys are the only one I will let work on my vehicles. There is not another shop I trust more, their customer service is second to none! Not to mention they are very reasonably priced.

Way too expensive, also gave the wrong diagnosis on the truck. They said battery and gas pump. Real problem was a battery turmoil and an oil change. They want to charge me 1200 for something that wasnt even an issue! Find a different shop, they are shady!

Don't ever come here, they charge $80 for an inspection and diagnostics when it's free everywhere else, there are so many hidden fees, overpriced parts, and the towing is insanely overpriced for the distance traveled. Go to Complete Auto Care instead, this place is a trap.
