I have to say the staff was very friendly, but there was a lack of communication. I went there for an exhaust fix on a Thursday. I told them off the bat that I would need a new muffler, for the one was very rusty. I was just fine with it taking until the next day, I understand they are definitely busy. I had to call them each time and ask for an update. They were nice enough to give me a bit of a discount when I picked it up Friday evening. Got a few miles away and noticed that they didn't put any muffler on. They told me to bring it back Monday morning, they will make it right. Brought it back and they called in the afternoon to say they found my old muffler and they need to put a new one on. As I stated the week before, I was just fine with that I knew it was going to have to happen. Asked for them to please contact me if they needed to keep it until the next day because it's my only source of transportation. I had to again call them and it was not done until the next day. The hardest part was that I was without a car for 4 weekdays and it always had to be last minute for me to find a ride because of the lack of communication on the timeline of this fix. Unfortunately at this rate I'm not 100% sure if I'll be back.

Bryce and Alex were great to work with; seamless flow with the local dealer, which was especially helpful since I was out of state. Knowledgeable about the intended car purchase with expectations set for the future. The tech (text messaging, photo display, payment, etc.) did not get in the way and was a great testament to how technology makes things easier. Great set up. Anyone in Grand Rapids I highly recommend these guys.

Took my car here for the first time because the shop I normally go to doesn't do transmission services, however, it turned out to be something else! The service here was great. They got everything done in a timely manner and for a fair price. When they completed the inspection not only did I get a detailed digital estimate that described exactly what tests they did to my vehicle but it also included pictures of of my vehicle. Great first impression. And also their lobby/waiting room area was very clean.

Took my car to get a replacement engine, because they do good work. Been having problems since! Nun of my things under the hood was secure, missing bolts engine leaning. A part flew off my car from the engine took it back to the shop they told me it wasn t from the engine when u clearly see it s connected to the engine. Asked them several time to replace it because I m under warranty. Nobody reached out not a word from the supervisor. They kept giving me the run around. Then I took it to have a second opinion and come to find out these people never put my protectors back on my car. Got my alternator replaced even though I knew better to take my car here again. Gave them another chance he ll the alternator behind my tire is completely exposed!!! They serviced my son's car a few times and everytime they messed something up. Oil cap not tighten down properly and a oil mess everywhere. Another time he had a full break job nothing was lubricated. Several failed attempts at a bad timing chain diagnosis. He got the proper diagnosis at a different shop. Save yourself the hassle and do not come here.

Normally I wouldn't go to a bootleg shop, I would normally take my car to Lee Valley where I bought it from, but I no longer live in my hometown. & it wasn't me paying for it, DHS was paying them. I'm not sure if that's why they were so careless and unprofessional about the work being done on my car. but they were supposed to put breaks on my car and bleed the breaks. My car went into their shop with no break lights on, when I picked it up, there were brake lights as well as another light!! it also does NOT feel like I have NEW breaks. Their excuse was that I had a master cylinder that leaked out. Why wasn't this paid attention to when fixing? this was Ryan excuse to why my brakes don't feel like they have much pressure. Long story short I do NOT recommend! Ryan kept stating he doesn't know what my car drove like before they did the brakes, that does not matter it should not feel like I DO NOT have NEW breaks. I dont know but, I'm definitely pressing the issue for sure! New brakes should feel new right? excatly they are full of it. and like I said I am sure its because DHS paid and not myself! UNPROFESSIONAL!!

All Auto provided excellent service on my car. They responded promptly, their online system clearly outlined what they found and recommended, and they answered my follow-up questions over the phone. Have gone to All Auto Services twice now, and I will continue to put my trust into this awesome shop. My 2018 Subaru Outback is my baby and I have only brought him to All Auto for minor services, but each time they have been very nice over the phone and professional in person. Even offered me a loaner or an Uber when I had to schedule right before work and classes for GVSU. Great team, and thank you Alex for being so nice on the phone!

EDIT: I'm changing this, somewhat reluctantly. A higher up manager reached out to me and apologized for the issues, specifically the lack of communication, and offered me a discount because of my issues.The underlying issue of communication still remains and I feel it important to share the experience, however I am increasing from one star to two for the attempt to take care of this. I'm not increasing more because I don't know if these same actions would have been taken had i not done a review, and I think a store should improve regardless of whether a review exists or not.For starters, I had a previous review that was 3 stars improved to 4. The main issue there was communication.Just had my car fixed there. I had to ask when my car would be ready instead of them offering this info. End of day Thursday. I show up end of day Thursday and not ready. They actually cashed me out and almost let me drive off with my car with BAD BRAKE LINES.I complain about the lack of communication. No call or anything to tell me my car wouldn't be ready. They apologize and say ready tomorrow for sure, probably by morning.Morning is over, no call. I call and they say "well we didn't say morning. So end of day today."End of day comes and they ran into a problem. Going to be Monday.Monday morning comes and now, randomly, they claim my battery hasn't been holding a charge. Mind you, I started it Thursday to almost drive it off.Pretty confident they destroyed my battery at this point but no way to prove it.This is really unfortunate that the service here is so bad, because the actual mechanical work is usually quite good.their demeanor was more and more hostile as things went on like I was being unreasonable that I wanted good communication.Service: Brakes

All Auto was fast, friendly, and incredibly patient and responsive to all of my questions. Their site outlined everything I needed to know about my service including pictures so I could see for myself what was going on. I would definitely recommend them

I had my vehicle towed that had been sitting for over 7 months into the shop. They fixed everything that was wrong with it , tie rods, two new tires, back brakes rotors and calipers and had my vehicle back to me in just one day. I went to All auto after having a bad experience at another shop so I was super skeptical. But they took care of us. Great kept me informed about everything that they did. They are very affordable and did an amazing job at getting my vehicle back on the road quick. I would definitely recommend them and I won t be taking my vehicle any other place but here.Also, they were willing to give me a vehicle, so I had a vehicle if my truck wasn t done by the end of the day, so I had a vehicle for the weekend. I was very pleased with the service team at All Auto Services. I am new in town and didn't have a go-to garage so I tried All Auto based on their location. They were able to diagnose my issue and repair it in the same day and will now be my garage for all things auto! Thanks guys!

Our vehicle has been returned twice and continues to have an issue. I understand if they don't have the skills or knowledge but be up front from the beginning as opposed to charging us for various 'fixes'

Yes, All Auto Services did a good and honest job on my newly purchased used car. They did a full inspection, and later replaced my rear brakes, solving "metal-to-metal" safety concern. I checked KBB for average price in Grand Rapids and their prices are well in the range. Besides, Alex is very courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend this place if you have any mechanic needs for your autos.

I m from New Mexico. I made a trip to Grand Rapids to see my son and daughter-in-law, but before I left to drive home, discovered I had a serious oil pan leak. Auto got my diesel pickup truck in and took care of my oil pan in a very timely fashion. The bill was quite a bit less than I was expecting to, too!I m on the road home now and my truck is running smooth as silk! I highly recommend All Auto!

I was super impressed by the thorough inspection of my car and the report that includes pictures. I also appreciated their prompt attention to a minor problem that was making my car not driveable but was ultimately not a huge fix. We were going out of town and my job involves driving to home visits, so the fact that they got me back on the road quickly and cheaply was greatly appreciated!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. The forgot to tighten my lug nuts down on 3 out of 4 wheels after a simple tire rotation. My car started shaking and my tires almost fell off my car while doing 80 on the highway. Also went in for transmission problems a few months back for my jeep they talked me into thinking it was $800 of work not involved with transmission. They did the work and the car drove exactly the same and they told me to wait for a light to come on my dash. Of course they kept the $800. They even messed up a simple tire patch. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Transmission fluid drain and fill, and maintenance review. This team is great! They are prompt and professional and I feel I can trust them. I appreciate their honesty and enjoy feeling I can work with them from start to finish. They are up front about every aspect of work and anticipated issues and help set a plan of action that won't break my bank. This isn't the first time I've worked with them and it definitely won't be the last.

I used this auto shop for the first time recently. I believe they are a good shop to have work on your vehicles, very nice friendly and knowledgeable staff. They called periodically with updates on my car throughout the process which was very nice as I have never had another shop do that. The reason I am leaving a 3 star review is because it took them 4 weeks to solve an issue I was having with my car from the first time they started diagnostics, thankfully I have several vehicles so it did not leave me with no vehicle. I was very happy to get that call saying my car was finally fixed and they found the issue! My small problem is that they never called me once they found what the issue was for me to approve any work and I had no idea how much it was going to cost until I showed up to pick up my vehicle. I will consider giving them another opportunity in the future the next time I have an issue with one of my vehicles. Please note this shop will charge you a diagnostics fee PLUS labor and parts to fix your problem. I have not had another mechanic shop charge that before. I appreciate their hard work in solving the issue as opposed to giving up and me being told I'll have to take it somewhere else which I have been told before on a number of occasionsService: General repairs & maintenance

Usually great quality work and a professional staff but I think they do take on too many appointments when there is not enough open spaces so there is a delay in getting your car in the building for service I have 6 cars and I live down the street so it is very convenient they have done great work on all 6 but All Auto needs to be more precise on scheduling to quickly get your vehicle in and out because this place is very busy.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement, Vehicle Inspection, Brakes, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning, Vehicle safety inspection, Auto brake replacement, Oil change

Work completed in less than a day. Final bill ended up a little less then the original estimate. They do good work.
