Great service! I stopped in for an oil change and tire rotation, and was done in only 30 minutes. The staff were very friendly and efficient, and communicated clearly about what was being done. Minus one star because my oil light was not reset, and TPMS sensors were not updated after the rotate.

This store was kind and very helpful to my elderly father. He had and used his coupon. They walked him through each segment of their service to his vehicle. When they didn't have his required windshield wiper blade, they told him if he brought one back, they would install it for him.Very pleased with this business.

Valvoline Instant Oil Changes are professionally run. We keep coming back here because they do a good job, are fast and service oriented. Also, they are right next to a good Mister Car Was facility, which makes it convenient.

Valvoline Oil Change in Grand Ledge never disappoints. Each and every time I've been here, everyone has been kind, pleasant, friendly and respectful of the fact that I'm 'auto maintenance challenged'. However, I am learning. I am never pressured into having other jobs on my car done. I will never take my car anywhere else!

Best oil change place I've been to. Manger was very informative. Explained everything in detail. Showed me what chevy recommended for miles. They are very fluent and did a great job. Only place I'll take my truck to get oil changed.

The staff here are the ABSOLUTE best people. Professional to a T and friendly, kind, and just genuinely nice.The obviously work very well together. I wouldn t go anywhere else.

Great business. Professional, knowledgeable and don't pressure you for the "manufacturer suggestions". They let you know what is suggested @ certain mileage but don't twist your arm. Employees are always courteous & professional even tho there seems to be high turn over. Have gone here for years!

This is my go-to oil change place. This particular location in Grand Ledge. They are always very friendly and they all work together very nicely. I've never had a negative experience here in the 20 or so visits. If you don't have the time to do it yourself. I would recommend coming here.

I don t know what changed here but WOW! Seriously bad service ! Unorganized mess no longer is 15min even a chance! Waited 25 mins was moved to 2 different bays to WAIT! 6 people working and nothing getting done! 15 min oil change ONLY NO ITHER CHEVKS GILLD ECT OIL ONLY 65 min ! I will find a new location not worth the money or time anymoreService: Oil change

I haven't been able to get a cabin air filter changed anywhere simply because the design of my Infiniti makes it difficult to reach the filter. Every place I've been to, I was told it was too difficult to change so I've gone without it being changed for quite some time. Today, Virginia took the time to properly handle my needs. She was very educated and confident that she could help with changing the cabin air filter. I really appreciate her taking the time to provide me with excellent service.

I went to get an oil change this past week and the technician/manager wanted to check my air cabin filter as well. She checked it and brought a new one out without even asking if I wanted it to be changed upon seeing my current one. Told me she d knock $20 off a $55 filter out the door. I asked if a $35 air cabin filter was on par with what you d pay at an auto part store, and she assured me of that. Come to find out after the oil change, the highest I could find was about $15 for the same part, and keep in mind this was a 30 second installation so I wasn t paying for labor on this part. Regardless, a response of it s a little higher than auto parts stores, but it ll save you having to do it on your own would ve sufficed.. But I was assured I was getting a good deal. The dishonesty from the manager on this is just extremely frustrating and concerning, it seems that since I m young the manager thought it was ok to mislead me. Well I m 23 and have thousands upon thousand of dollars in oil changes left in my life, and due to this, I plan to never spend another cent at Valvoline again. If you want honesty, I would recommend avoiding this Valvoline.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

I was lied to by them directly to my face but try to act like I had no clue what is going on with my own vehicle when I happen to do all the maintenance I was figuring it might be me get a brand new car for my buddies dealership. I had everything changed free of charge cuz it's my buddy he hooked me up. I showed up there about a month or two later cuz it was about time for the oil change and they tried to tell me that my radiator fluid is breaking down. That's funny cuz I got this car less than 3 months ago and I watched them put new radiator fluid in. So how is it breaking down and then I told them all I wanted was the basic oil change and I didn't want to pay for anything else and they continued to try and add things to my bill and I told them that's not what I wanted. All I want is an oil change so they will try to talk to you into spending more money whether you need it or not and they will lie through their teeth to try and get you to buy that product..... Not to mention they Left my oil pan bolt loose four times now

Very nice crew they have. All super nice. Having done most of my own maintenance on my vehicle I knew prettt much whay needed to be done and they didn't try to up sell me on stuff. Nice change from a few other oil change places I have been to.

My husband is always gone for work and hardly ever has time to work on our vehicles, so I go to the next place I trust: Valvoline. I have never had a bad experience with Valvoline. They are always very friendly, courteous, and not pushy at all! I trust Valvoline with my car and know that they won't try to rip me off. Their prices are reasonable, they'll work with you, AND they have coupon options! I love Valvoline and will continue to come here.The ONLY thing that concerns me is their engine diagnostic reader. It is very old and unreliable. It plugs into your car and a code pops up then they google the code to tell you what is wrong. I was told by staff to go to a car part store like Auto Zone to get a better reading since the one they have is not very good.All in all with the advice given, their patience, and understanding with everything - I give 5 stars and would give more if possible just because the staff really does care for their customers, looks out for them, and even recommend other places to help their customer out. Fantastic place and I recommend them without hesitation.Services: Tires, Auto engine diagnostic, Air conditioning, Battery, Oil change

Have had my oil changed here for many years and every time I've had great service and good prices. They have even swapped out headlights for pretty cheap when they were difficult to swap for me due to location on the car. Quick service and professional staff, has the oil that my car required. It would also be nice if you could just opt out of the sales pitch for additional services though. The cost seems to have doubled however.

We took our Van to the Valvoline Instant Oil Change located in Grand Ledge MI. We initially only planned to get the oil & filter changed but they thoroughly checked several items under the hood and made recommendations for services needed to address to properly maintain our vehicle. They did not try to pressure us to purchase additional services but did want us to be informed. They also showed us for example the color of our transmission fluid, which was black and well beyond needing to be changed. We were able to pull right into a service bay without a wait. The guys were able to complete our service quickly and while we didn't have any coupons at the time, they gave us a discount on the cost. I definitely recommend Valvoline in Grand Ledge!

the store manager, chris is a fraudClaim Number: 3:C50163689 First of all, I'd like to start by saying, "I'm a long time Valvoline customer but I will never, NEVER use their services again. " November 2022, I went to Valvoline, grand ledge, Michigan to receive a full standard oil change. after i left the shop, assuming all was well, i drove home. approximately 20 miles later (20 miles distance to house) by engine began clunking and long story short, the technicians at Valvoline failed a major safety hazard, and didn't secure my oil drain plug securely causing all the oil to drain out and a mirage of engine problems, including an engine seizure and a declaration of vehicle totaled from a local repair shop (invoice include). Fast forward to today, 12/8/2022, i have no vehicle to drive and a $7,000.00 repair bill! I filed a claim with Valvoline and had a visit by the store manager, Chris, to inspect the damage, alongside Chris's assistant manager. After they evaluated the damage, i was told by Chris, we will contact you Monday. Monday comes along and I receive a call from Chris claiming he couldn't confirm the details of the invoice i gave him and stated "we aren't going to be able to help you out": and hangs up. I have no option to appeal? no higher authority to appeal my grievance with Chris? i wasn't even offered a refund on the oil change either, how about them apples? this company is a joke, I am sure we will receive a reply from Valvoline on BBB claiming no wrongdoing and state my claim is denied for such and such and offer no reimbursement whatsoever. we are furious and I promise, this fight is far from over!! -Keith Whitmore Charlotte, Michigan

I purchased a Groupon for an oil change for a synthetic blend oil change and i told him multiple times synthetic blend, and showed him the Groupon. I was given a fully synthetic oil change and when asked why they did that he said oh my mistake and I said okay no worries and then he told me that I was going to have to pay $125 for the new oil change but luckily the Groupon was going to take off $20, now I did get my filter replaced so that was part of the cost but I'm not paying $100 for an oil change and a filter when my oil change was supposed to be included in the Groupon and I was supposed to only pay the tax. Mistakes happen but don't make a mistake due to your incompetence and then require the customer to pay $100. It took me multiple tries speaking to him and I had to be rude in order for it to finally go down in price and I still ended up paying an outrageous amount for what should have been an easy proces, I've gotten oil changes there for years but I will not go again because I was treated so rudely, and the employees are unable to do their job right, and when mistakes are made on their part their way of fixing it was saying I'll get you an extra 20% off so you only have to pay $95. Maybe pay attention next time and you won't lose a customer.Update: I spoke to corporate and they helped wonderfully to fix the issue, ao maybe double check to all consumers in the future :)Service: Oil change

My husband and I are extremely frustrated. My husband received an oil change from Valvoline grand ledge location about 2 weeks ago.The service technician in the pit bay area ( under car) , when finished draining the oil,never tightened the oil drain cap and never had a manager verify it was tightened. 2 weeks later, my husband took his car to out shiners because the car was, running very badly following recent oil change. the technicians at out shiners in charlotte, were gracious enough to verify and inspect recent oil change and discovered that the cap under the oil pan wasn't secure and could be loosened with a few hand turns, cause all of the oil to dissipate leaving the engine to run bone dry and eventually cause engine to seize along with a barrage of other engine and mechanical issues. We had the car towed to Oscars autobody shop of Potterville which fixed what he could and in the end left of with a nearly $7,000.00 auto mechanic bill and an explanation of the damages cause by the oil change shop (grand ledge Valvoline) and that he deem the car a total loss, undrivable. We are at the current early stages of a vehicle claim, provided with letter fromOut shiners management and techs, Oscars autobody service receipt and diagnostic report, another local mechanics testimony and the broken car as evidence. if the claim is processed and we are made available reparation's , a new vehicle and payment for reimbursement of tow fees, mechanics bill , then will will re-evaluate this review and leave a five star review instead. if not, we will leave our story and a star review every month for up to 1 year.Service: Oil change

My girlfriend and I just got an oil change here 5 minutes to close. Jacob, who waited on us was super understanding and very helpful. Alex did our oil change, and he was very fast and efficient. On top of that, they were both hilarious. Great customer service guys! We already had a coupon and Jacob mentioned downloading the app and getting an extra $5 off, so that was awesome of him. We will continue to come here through the years!

One of the things I look for in a quick oil change... is that the staff doesn t pester me with stupid (unnecessary) suggestions for goods/services I don t need. This location does a great job of balancing the need to upsell with making reasonable suggestions. They re consistently quick, friendly, and seem to be good at what they do. The only downside I see, is this location is a bit more expensive than others in the area. So you re certainly paying for a better experience.
