Righter's team readied our car for sale by running it through a safety check list, also maintenance check and for a reasonable cost they brought our 2012 Fiat up to snuff! Wonderful to work with, caring and fair. A great Community Asset to have. They also do our regular car maintenance and any thing that comes along the way. We are very happy.

Loved how easy Righters made it to have my car serviced. They inspected and then sent a text with pictures of their findings, with quotes for each issue. Super easy to pick and choose what I wanted them to fix. I was very happy with the work they did and how quickly they got it done. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend to anyone else.

They were very quick and very informative with the diagnosis of any other issues I had. The email they sent after with their report was great to have a copy of what they were seeing was awesome. It will help in future planning of getting work done there. They have earned a returning customer.

I was very impressed with Righter's Auto Repair. They were able to get me in right away, gave a through explanation of what needed to be done to service my vehicle, including which items were immediate and the associated costs. And my vehicle was ready for pick up the next day as promised.I was very pleased with the knowledge and professionalism of all the staff I spoke with and with the quality of work that was performed.I will definitely use them again, and highly recommend Righter's Auto Repair.

This was my first time visiting their shop. Rich got me in right away. He listened to what I needed and acted promptly. I expected to wait for a couple of hours for the service to be completed, as that has always been my experience with other auto repair shops. To my great surprise the service was completed in less than an hour. Another surprise was the bill...their prices are extremely reasonable. I highly recommend Richters and will be returning for any further service needs.

Rich & James always are very helpful & can take care of my requests quickly. I greatly appreciate their promptness.At my last appointment, James discovered something that needed to be taken care of right away. The team members took care of the issue along with my initial visit all within the same day. I truly appreciate their professionalism & promptness. They definitely go the extra mile.Took my Expedition in for a few things. Found out a few sensors needed to be replaced. The sensors are original, so I knew eventually they might need replacing. Rich, James, DJ & the mechanics give great customer service. They go the extra mile to make sure everything is done correctly the first time. I highly recommend Righters. I've been using Righters for all of my families vehicles for a couple years now and they've been great! Had an oil change and tire rotation done they did a good d job. But they didn t reset the oil change light on the dash. And the tire rotation costs were in my book excessive, most places I ve been to charge $10 they charged $33 plus change. Had a coupon for the oil change and thought I would be saving money but in reality it wasn t any cheaper than the dealer.

Jeff helped me from beginning to end, and is a really good guy. Their labor rates are at the upper end of the spectrum, still having difficulty with that. But they did a great job on my vehicle and treated me very well. Their process is great, they communicate well, and lay everything out with no hidden surprises. I have some more work that I d like to move forward with, but again their rates are making that hard. With that said, my first experience with them was a positive one.Service: Brakes

Took my Jeep out of 4 years of storage, knew my first stop had to be Righter s. It needed tires, an oil change, wasn t putting out any heat. The engine light was on. The list was long . They did the diagnostic, sent me the results with pictures and costs. In the order of what had to be done and what could wait. Answered all my questions. I chose to have them fix it all, make it road ready and warm! 2 days later it s done. It s like a new vehicle, and yes, it has heat. Righter s has the nicest, most efficient group of guys I ve dealt with. Getting the Jeep fixed right the first time lets me park and cover up my new truck so it won t have to do Michigans Winter Wonderland. A win-win deal. You can t go wrong with Righter s, they do things the right way the first time. I hadn't been in an auto repair shop this organized in a long time. I told them what I needed, Rich at the front desk had me send him a photo of the VIN and in an hour I received a detailed quote. When I dropped the vehicle off, Rich gave me a detailed explanation of the quote and timeline. It was an expensive repair but they were right in the middle of the two other quotes I got. When they discovered another problem they called with a detailed explanation and additional quote. There were no surprises. I paid exactly what was quoted and they completed the work exactly when they said they would. When I got the car home I checked all the work. They did it like I'd do it. Nobody in the history of the world enjoys the hassle and expense of automotive repairs. Righters did right by me! Would I recommend them? Absolutely!

They were very polite, clearly explained the vehicle needs, and fit the repair in on my timeline. This is the second time I have used them in the past year and have been very happy both times. Great work!UPDATE 12/2023: Back a year later for a different vehicle repair and again the Grand Ledge Righter's exceeded my expectations across the board. I use them all the time ! Always fair prices and friendly! On longer repairs it is an extra plus for the loaner car (since we only have the one car). As a retiree it is important to have a good and fair auto shop ! If something isn t exactly right they go out of the way to see what the problem is. For oil change or big repair go to Righter s. Got a great price on tires they had to order in and showed up next day! Dropped vehicle off that night using the Dropbox and requested tire mount and balance and oil change. This place is hands down the best shop i ve been to, won t service my car any place else. They go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy, and that they get their vehicle back in a timely manner. They call and text for approval before servicing, and even bring other stuff to your attention so you re aware. Truck needed some axle seals which tuned into u-joints and mounting up my new rims. They got it in fast and did exceptional work. They even gave my rig a bath and shined up my tires. They truly went above and beyond. I also love there digital inspection form with photos that documents the repair process.

Good work done at a fair price. The only charges we had on our bill other than parts, was labor. My older Cadillac Escalade had been leaking oil since I purchased it and drove it back from Oregon in the summer of 2021. Another local shop in town had worked on it several times and never been able to successfully find and repair the leak. As my family is heading out of town for a long road trip soon, I wanted the issue resolved. A patient recommended Righter's so I booked an appointment with the friendly service writer Jeff over the phone. Forty minutes after dropping it off, Jeff was calling to say that they knew exactly what the problem was, had repaired many similar vehicles with good success and that he was confident they would be able to correct the issue. I had excellent communication with the shop the entire time, with several updates from Jeff as to the status of my repair. He even called to let me know that during the courtesy inspection of the rest of my vehicle, they discovered that the rear brakes only had 0.5mm left of pad, something my previous shop had failed to note on a recent oil change and "inspection". They were able to complete all my repairs in a very timely manner and paying for my repairs via text to online invoice was a snap. I was a little dismayed to find a small oil spot on my garage floor the morning after picking up my repaired vehicle. One call back to Righter's had them asking to bring the vehicle back in for a recheck immediately. They determined that because I had had such an extensive leak for so long, it was residual oil being heated from the outside of the engine block and dripping, not a new leak. I have since had no other new oil drips. I am very happy to have found a new auto repair shop that I can trust to provide excellent service and communication!Service: General repairs & maintenance

After calling many auto shops to get an emergency repair done while on a long distance drive.... Righters went above and beyond the call of duty. Excellent service and they would not even accept a generous tip. Keep it up soon you will be double in size with the service you provide.Not only you had my brakes done you also fixed the sway bars that caused the clanking noise, which 3 other auto shops i had gone to in Chicagoland area had mis diagnosed as needing new front struts .

I would highly recommend Righter's Auto Repair. They're friendly. They know what they are doing. They don't repair or replace any part unless they contact you.Definitely five stars
