After waiting over 2 weeks for an appointment, they set up with us, the receptionist looked unkempt, was rude, and they weren't ready for us until 40 minutes later.We went to Eaton Auto Body and didn't need an appointment to be seen by the owner. We were treated professionally, with respect and courtesy.It's a definite PASS on a referral for you to go to Gerber Collision & Glass from me. Oh, and they quoted over $100.00 more to fix our truck than Eaton Auto Body.

*This is a Zero Stars review for Gerbers in Grand Ledge MI*I have never written a negative review before. In this instance I feel I need to, to warn others. We brought our truck to Gerbers as they were on our insurance agent s referral list. The hood was dented as a result of the August storm, and the mirror was also torn off. We waited five months for the parts to come in which is understandable and the way things are these days. However Gerbers had our truck for over 5 weeks to do the repairs with very little communication or updates provided. Either myself or my husband would have to call each week to find out when it might be done. This went on for weeks and was difficult as we were sharing one vehicle. We were never given any concrete answers, just that they were working on it. There doesn t seem to be any desire to please the customer or empathy for the customer whatsoever. They are extremely lackluster and blas�. Finally after five weeks to replace and paint a hood and fix the mirror, it was ready, or so we were told. When we picked up the truck, the hood was not lined up properly. You could easily see this at a glance. The inside of the hood was not painted, there were drips on the side, and the inside was covered in a layer of dust and the windows were absolutely filthy. After showing the manager this, we were put on the schedule to take it back the following week to fix all of their mistakes. IN THE MEANTIME when we were driving the truck, other drivers kept flashing their lights at us. We then discovered that the lights were not wired back in properly after they unhooked them to remove the hood. So guess what my husband ended up having to do himself on a Saturday morning? He didn t even bother mentioning this to them, but I think he should have. I called our insurance company to tell them about our experience and they are removing them from their referral list. We took it back the next week and two days later their mess ups were fixed. Again, the inside was dusty and a mess. It was horrendous. There is no pride of workmanship to do a good job and no apologies given. NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL WE GO BACK TO GERBERS!! This is your warning!

Once I was able to get my car in they had a very fast turnaround time. I had a collision with a deer and they did an amazing job restoring everything. Shout out to whoever worked on my car, it looks brand new!!

Very nice work!! I recommend this business. Auto repaired after hitting a deer. The estimator and other staff were very professional and thorough, After the repair the whole car looks like new. And they even cleaned the interior - which was very dirty.I read these reviews and saw some were negative. But, I wonder if the complaints were really based on the quality of the owner's insurance, rather than the repair facility.Either way - I hope this helps!

Only time i write a review is because of poor service. Always hate to do it but it has to be done.Took my car in for rear end collision repair. After 3 wks of being in the shop i was told got all the parts ready to align and paint.. after weeks go by then was told repeatedly that it be back to me at the end of the week. Its going on the 6th week.Customer service is trash. Say they will call you back. 2 out of 5 times they have. Cant give you an honest answer.. hiding behind the desk.Car rentals are not cheap. They need to get there stuff together. People have lives to carry on.. work to get to. Dont need any other distractions.We brought you our car to do the work. Not to get bully around!!Next time i ll go elsewhere Service: Body & Trim

Contacted Gerber Collision of Grand Ledge after hitting a deer. I specifically asked if they were certified to work on my car. I was told that they were absolutely certified and able to work on my specific car. They worked with my insurance company to set up a tow of my car. They took possession of my car from the tow company. Eight days later I receive a phone call from Gerber Collision to tell me that they are not certified to work on my car!! It took eight days to tell me that they could not work on a car that they knew the make and model of before they ever took possession of it. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional!! Took 2 weeks to get an appointment to look at my car, and it'll take 2 months before they can work on it.EDIT. They did a great job once I was able to get my car in so increased my review.

First Impressions, they did a good job. Have no complaints so far. They where on time, they where quick, though it was a small dent. They did go above and beyond. I'd recommend them for a high end service. Time will Have to tell if the paint last, but the paint matches the color of the car which is always a plus. As I tried to pull into a parking spot an employee almost hit my car as I was trying to pull in. I was just coming to get an estimate, and when I went into the office to question who was driving, and mentioned that I was not sure if this was a good place to get an estimate on my car damage, being that I almost was hit by their worker. With an attitude, they said "that's fine, good bye, have a good day" rather than apologizing for the almost mishap and acting like they may want my business. Guess it was good to learn about their customer service before trying to do business with them.

Amazing work! I left Mi for 2 weeks and I wanted to get my front fender replaced from rust damage. They let me drop it off before I left and had it done before I came back. I could tell they washed it for me and when I got inside it to drive it they cleaned the whole inside! I was dreading having to clean the inside and its already done! I'm very happy with this service and will be returning to get some other spots fixed. Thank you so much for all the work you put into my car for me!

The guys at gerber were extremely professional and took great care of me and my car . I got in an accident and they were able to get me in same day. They did a beautiful job replacing my windshield and hood of the vehicle . A few months later, I noticed an issue with my headlights that we didn t notice the first time. I called and they took care of me right away and solved the problem. These individuals are very friendly and they gave me a 5 star experience the whole time :)Thank you !

Came in with my 2 yr old son to have them look over my bumper that looked like it was starting to come off. There were some clips or something missing, and I was really just looking to have an estimate. The agent who worked with me offered to pull the car in and have his guys look out over. Around 5 minutes later my car is brought out and was fixed! I asked what I owed them and he declined and saidI was good. Great service and great place! 5*

The communication was a little lacking, but overall, I'm happy with the repairs that were done. I had a wheel and tire replaced, and then an alignment was done. It took about a week, but that is quick considering the way things are currently with covid and the supply chain.

I will start with they did right: the car looks good.My wife got a call Friday and was told it was ready for pickup. We were busy, and she told them we would pick up Monday morning.Monday morning, she had to leave the house early. I didn't think the car we were loaned would work for all I had to do for work, but it was no problem. I was just pick up our car at the shop. Oh, bad idea. I arrived about 9:00 to 9:05. I was told they would bring the car out. I wait; I go back in. "Well, we need to give it a wash. That'll just be ten minutes." No problem. I go ahead and pay. I wait; I go back in. "Well, just another fifteen minutes." I am getting pretty annoyed at this point, but I wait. I finally go in and tell them that dirty or not I have to go. I have to be at work at that moment. And they pull up the car.I might have given them three stars at that point, but for what happened a little later.I had to pick up things for work, and as I am driving the tail light they told me they fixed went out. Yes. The brand new tail light was bad. Another trip to Vision Collision.No rebate. No partial refund. I have been told they replaced a bulb and put a little air in our tires for all our trouble.Maybe if you have lots of time to waste, you will have better success. If you need the job done well the first time, call someone else.

Eric and the crew were amazing to work with! My parked 2019 Jeep was hit dead on in front of my house causing over $4000 in damages. Took my car in to have a small bumper issue fixed. The manager was able to do the minor fix and sent me on my way no charge. Would definitely come back if I ever need more severe work done, the two people I interacted with there were sharp, knowledgeable, and professional.

They did excellent job on our 2014 impala with 38,000 miles. Told us 2 days & had it done in 1. We had different issue & they fixed it right then at no charge. The blind spot alert light on passenger mirror won't go off & we called dealership & was told $70 diagnosis charge cause we didn't purchase extended warranty. We turned off alert in the "settings" and light still won't go off. Vision collision offered to check into it at no charge at our convenience.

I took my car into vision collision on Friday they were very friendly, and gave me a reasonable estimate. I asked the gentleman how soon can you fit me in. "Drop it off Tuesday morning " was his response. Monday after work I called to confirm. The gentleman said yup drop it off tomorrow morning. I made arrangements for the next morning and dropped it off at 6am. I was told that it might take all of Tuesday and into Wednesday. 12:30pm. I received a phone call stating that they could not get to it for a couple days, that another car was gonna be on the lift for a couple days. After I made arrangements and scheduled service. I spoke with the manager who said that he has regular clients that take brig I a lot of money and take presidence. This is what customer service is like at vision collision.

Called them about getting hit in the rear, bent the trailer hitch down, they told me-yes they can repair that, bring it in to look at. WELL, went in and one of the employee's came out and bent down to look at the hitch ( 2 seconds !!) and said-to much rust, and walked away !!! Took it to Ledges auto body across the street!! No problem there !!

just picked up my poor Cruze, front and back damage. got my deductible covered by the at fault driver who hit me, so basically didn't pay a dime. car looks like it did before. except they detailed the interior. I have to say, i neglected the interior before, but now I'm going to keep it as fresh and clean as vision collision left it for me. no issues here as of yet, would definitely give them a go again in the future!

Got my van back yesterday... They had it for 3 weeks while I paid cash out of my own pocket for a rental, originally told me they reimburse $75/wk for rental then when the van was so called completed, informed me that they only reimburse if you get a rental through enterprise and I just kind of shrugged that off. However, not happy, they damaged areas that didn't to be touch, how do dents end up in a brand new tail gate and scratches on the i side of it? A dent on my rear passenger side. Bondo inside and out, my seats and carpet are ruined from bondo and what may be primer. Paint chips and swirl marks. Sanded areas that were not painted, back window is crooked. Drivers side has scratches all down it and to top it off... The rear has a shimmy to it. They charged my insurance for parts that were not replaced, you can clearly tell they pounded out my rear floor pan, they did not replace it. The carpet was not glued back down, they ruined what was supposed to be a new front bumper. There are scratches and orange paint on my windshield. Passenger side is clearly bowed out, trim on passenger doors were not replaced or fixed. They charged my insurance over $8000. How do they consider there poor work and fraud as getting my van back to pre-accident condition? And yes, I reported this to my insurance company as well. And let me add, they put used parts on my vehicle when the paper work says all parts are new. The safety of my vehicle is compromised.

Did decent work, very satisfying service. BEWARE! Do not expect anything more than what you ask they will ask you if you want them to look at something extra besides your main concern but they really could not care less about it so just hope you only have ONE issue with your vehicle per visit. 310/1000

The car looks as good as new... If that was the only thing being graded here it would be 5 stars for sure... but, and this is a big one for me, there could have been significantly better communication as well as a realistic time frame for completion. I was told two weeks by the first guy and was then told several other incorrect times for delivery. I was informed by Troy the GM that these were all unrealistic expectations of completion on a vehicle with the amount of damage sustained. He was honest and up front about the struggles we found ourselves in the middle of and made no excuses. He took care of the costs of the rental and did significant service recovery. Because of these hiccups the score is down graded, but I couldn't be more happy with the final product.

I have used VIsion Collision twice in the past couple years. Highly recommend. Both times the work was completed as requested and looked like the the incident never happened. They will look out for the consumer on insurance claims. They go to bat for us consumers on the small stuff that insurance adjusters will not look at or care about.

I have been to Vision collision twice. The first time the Jaguar hood ornament came off of our car and a replacement would have cost us over $300. One of the workers played with the old ornament and figured out a way to reattach it, NO CHARGE.The 2nd time i broke the side mirror on my SUV backing out of the garage the guy at vision was able to fix it back together for just the cost of the glass, no labor charge. Works like new. I would definitely go there if i really needed body work on a car.
