I had gotten an estimate of over $1,000 for power steering repair from another local shop. My truck is old and used as a work truck so I held off and had decided to wait until I absolutely had to repair it. My friend just had his power steering repaired by Eastown Auto Repair & Tire and suggested I get an estimate there. Turns out there was nothing wrong with my power steering system at all! It was just a VERY worn out and noisy idler pulley! I dropped off my truck first thing in the morning, they had it repaired before 10am for under $300. I have a new mechanic! They also sell my go-to brand of tires, Nokian. Thanks guys, great service!

Needed a radiator flush done on my car and they were very happy to help me, great price, great employee service, I would recommend these guys everyday, will definitely be going to Eastown Auto Repair and Tire for future services!!

Had some work done with a handoff between two shops and when a problem showed up later from the work I brought it back for resolution. Without finger pointing or denials you usually see, these guys stepped up and fixed the problem and were very generous on fixing the resulting damage. Any repair ( especially a multi-party one) can go south without you knowing it, but these folks stand behind their work with uncommon integrity. They've earned themselves a lifelong custer here.

These guys are amazing! My wife and I just moved, so we rented a Uhaul from them. The move took longer than unexpected, and I needed to extend my reservation. Unfortunately, somebody else had the truck reserved immediately after my reservation was up. The boys at Eastown Auto stepped up! They had no obligation to help me when my reservation was up. They could have easily just parted ways with me and said "sorry about your luck," but they didn't. These guys truly went above and beyond to make sure we still had truck to finish our move. Better still...they managed to move things around and keep me in the same truck! This was the best case scenario for us, because we had a full truck, and we were going to have to pull off a miracle to empty it and get it back in time. These guys actually care about their customers, and it shows! I can't say enough good things about them, and I would recommend them to anybody! I truly can't thank them enough for putting in all the extra effort they did, to make a very stressful time less difficult for me and my family. Thank you, Eastown Auto!

I was stranded with a flat tire & didn't have a clue what to do. I Googled tire repair & called Eastown. I was able to get a next day appointment and he invited me to drop off the tire just in case they could fix it that day. I had no idea what could be done with the tire. I thought I was going to have to replace all 4 tires. Instead they squeezed me in the same day & patched the tire in 5 minutes. They said my tires have enough tread to last a while & I didn't need new tires right away. They could have taken advantage of me and made a quick sale but instead they took good care of me. I am blown away by their kindness and honesty. I am so grateful to these gentlemen and will be a lifelong customer!Service: Tires

This is the best auto shop. They got me in quick. Fast and friendly. The communication is awesome they fill you in every step of the way. Also very reasonable priced. I was given a quote and the final was under the estimate. I wouldn't recommend any other car place but Eastown auto. I had a problem with my rear driver side tire. I took my car to East Town in Grand Haven, MI. They were able to get me in right away and treated my dog, Halo like a queen. This review deserves more than five stars. I took my car three days before Christmas and before a blizzard. They were double booked.I have had other work done on my car at East Town, and have always found their work to be of quality, Their service is hands-down friendly. Eastown Auto Repair has always been good to us. They are some of the few remaining small town shops that actually take care of their customers, instead of taking advantage of them. 10/10 will always recommend anyone to use them. Staff was so friendly. We needed trailer tires and they had them in stock. We had another tire that kept going flat and it was off a very large truck, they didn't have the machine to check this size of a tired and sent us to spring lake. They were awesome and got the job done so quickly.

I had a flat tire (was here for vacation from out of town) but when I called, they were unable to accommodate me to patch up my tire. Being too busy is totally understandable but when I asked for guidance on other auto shops around town who could possibly help me, the person I was speaking to said he had no other suggestions. Definitely not a helpful, welcoming vibe coming from this place.

Don is great to work with. This place is fair priced and honest. They are clean, professional and fast. Easy drop off and pickup. I took my truck in and they couldn t find anything wrong with it. They could have found something and charged me for it like most big dealerships. We have used Eastown Auto and Tire for at least 15 years for almost all our auto repairs. Mostly recently they got my vehicle in for a quick tire repair after I found it flat. Replaced timing chain and all of the gaskets, etc. may not have been the absolute lowest price but I will pay a little more for the peace of mind that it was done right and that Don and his crew take a personal interest in you and your vehicle.Thanks Don, I am glad I found your facility when I moved here 3 months ago.

I was out at a local store with my 2 year old daughter and noticed I had a large screw hanging out of my front tire. I stopped here as they has always helped me out in the past when I had a emergency. The guy came out and look at it and said we are all booked up I can look at the schedule. I have to say definitely not the place to stop now if you have a emergency. I ended up driving to my auto imports and they took care of it asap and the staff even help entertain my daughter..I will never be stopping, or recommending Eastown Auto to anyone ever again

I've been using Alles for pretty much all my service needs since I moved to the east side of town 20 years ago. I picked them for convenience (easy walk to my house) but they've given me no reason to look elsewhere. I've never had a bad experience. Service is great--I can't think of a time when I couldn't get my vehicle in within 24 hours. Communication has always been very clear and pricing seems fair. Over the years, I've probably used them two dozen times or more and can't remember a bad experience.

Car wasn t running correctly, they told me it was the brakes so they charged me $500 to fix those. Drove my car around the block and the car was driving worse than before I brought it. Very unprofessional and don t know how to work on cars correctly obviously. Don t go here, lake michigan auto and Grand Haven is the place!! They fixed it right away!Service: Brakes
