My wife and I were traveling down to Grand Rapids from the U.P.. Just north of Gaylord, our vehicle started making a loud noise. We pulled into Meekhof because they were right off the exit. They jumped right in to help us diagnose and fix the problem quickly and we were back on the road in no time. We were very impressed with their service.

The last few times I ve needed tires I ve went to Meekhof and Brad has always been more than helpful! He had a quick response time to all my emails and when I brought my vehicle in I was in and out in less than hour. Always great hospitality and speedy service! Will always choose Meekhof

Had a tire on my motorhome blow out on 127. Called Brad on the Monday and his tech came on Tuesday and replaced the tire. Super friendly and fast response.I highly recommend these guys.Meekhof has always treated me fairly and honestly.

Great place to take your Jeep to. I can leave and come back with peace of mind that they know what they are doing. Very affordable and the best shop in Gaylord hands down. Keep it up guys.

Excellent service, everyone was friendly, professional, polite. I highly recommend them. They put Belle Tire to absolute shame. From here out Meekhof will be getting my business.

Desperately needed alternator replaced on my van. Talked to them Friday morning, got a quote for almost $400.00 less than what my local shop told me. Even though they were extremely busy they got my van in the next Saturday morning at 8AM. Once they were done my total was about $30.00 LESS than what I was quoted on Friday. This is definitely my new place for any service work my van needs. It is more than worth the drive from Kalkaska. Plus they are extremely polite. It is so nice to have found a trustworthy place for auto repairs.

Not from around here. Had an exhaust clamp on my diesel break earlier today and this was the first place I called. I know with diesels parts they are not as common for availability however, the guys were able to get what we needed to get the job done. Good friendly staff service was fast took me in right off the street. In and out in about an hour if that. Would recommend anyone to come and check them out for parts and service. Price was also very reasonable. Staff very knowledgeable.

This is the 2nd 5th I have had Meekhof put 4 new tires on after a blow out. Both times we had great service and reasonable prices. Would recommend to anyone

It is so comforting to gave a car place you feel comfortable with! This place was recommended to me last year when I moved here and I have had the rattle-traps I drive in there Multiple times! Brad, Brian (MacGyver) and the rest have taken great care of me. I am happy to be at a point where if Brad Tells me whats going on w the bucket of bolts, I KNOW that IS whats going on!! Thx guys!!

My car had been having issues with the coolant and the heat. I was heading down state the next day and needed my car fixed right away. I called the store and spoke with the store manager Matt and he was able to get me in right away. He was so helpful and so easy to work with. I would highly recommend that anyone in need of help with their vehicle or in need of some new tires, go in and talk to Matt! I will continue to take my business there because of his excellent customer service!

Extremely helpful staff. Found a set of tires for my tractor in 1 day that I've been looking for at many other tire dealers without any luck. Ordered them and picked all 4 up 2 days later

If I could give 0 stars I would. Six months ago took our kids car in because a terrible noise was coming from tires. They told us the car needed full brakes all around and new bearings. It was going to cost $2000. We did it because it was a daily driver and was unsafe to drive as is. Flash forward to today and we took the same car into another repair shop for clunking near transmission and found the whole undercarriage was rusted so bad it is falling apart and the car is pretty much junk. Not worth fixing. These people at Meekhof were fine taking our $2000 and did not tell us the car was not worth fixing. Stay clear from this business's shady, unethical and dishonest practices.

I took my van into Belle Tire to get a new tire. They could not get one lug nut off so told me it would cost me over $500.00 to get a hub assembly done. My husband called Upper Lakes Tire and they said bring it right over. They got the lug nut off in less than 5 minutes. The guys were great and had my tire fixed quickly.

I was on my way back home to Cincinnati and developed a tire problem along the way. I was in an absolute panic but looked this place up and found that it was only a mile away. I was in-and-out in 20 minutes and it's and I made a friend why and while in the lobby. Their dog is a cutie! They certainly saved the day @

This was an amazing place to stop. We were passing through Gaylord and had to stop due to a noise coming from our front end. They were very friendly and very helpful! They were able to squeeze our truck in despite being very busy. They found the problem and had it fixed within an hour. We would highly recommend Upper Lakes Tire!

Great!! Did not remember names of the guys that worked on my truck today, but the one doing the rotate and balance did great. The Supervisor? at the front desk was overseeing it. My deal was unusual and he saw something that change how it has to be done. Lucky for me. Hard to explane but thank you for being so professional and sharp. My hat is off to you guys..Dennis

Stopped in today because we were on our way up to visit the parents last night and it threw a "service electronic throttle control" error about 10 mins out. We went this morning to the local dodge dealership since we have a dodge eco-diesel and they told us they can't do anything for use since it's from Canada and out of basic warranty.We drove to multiple places that ended up being closed and got referred to upper lakes tire. Thank goodness! Brian was beyond helpful! Even though he said he didn't do much with diagnosing, he came out and ran the codes for us.This is a common problem so he was able to clear the code for us so we can get home and get it back to the dealer who gave us the warranty.To top it off, he didn't even charge us! Thank you Brian and the staff at upper lakes tire, highly recommend!

My personal opinion? I've been getting my vehicles fixed there for almost a decade now, have always left feeling that they provided the highest quality service for the fairest price, great for people on a budget looking to have their vehicles and anything with a tire on it properly taken care of.

Best price on tires for my truck and customer service that puts a smile on your face. My only regret is that it took me 16 years to discover this gem in Gaylord.

2nd visit....had Jeep Tires replaced with a nore Aggressive Tread. Just had my Trailblazer's tires Plus Spare Replaced.....after 10 yrs....17 years on spare!!!!! Thank You Bryan, You're an Absolute AMBASSADOR to MEEKHOF Tires in Gaylord!!!! Tires make a Huge Difference!!!!!!! Roach

Pretty much the only place I get tires. Guys are good to work with. And if you have any questions or problems are always willing to help. They also do full wheel alignment.
