Shredded a serpentine belt on a trashed idler on highway 75. Got a hold of Bob to see if he could do it. We were 90 minutes from home and it was already 4:30. We got our FJ over to him, he assessed the issue, got the parts and had us back on the road in 2 hours. Thanks Bob!!

If you're looking for an HONEST mechanic that's KNOWLEDGEABLE and fair on pricing, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!! I travel for work and am new to the Gaylord area. Noticed my car was leaking and took it to Bob's. Turns out it was the water pump. He explained to me everything that was going on every step of the way. Any other shop probably would have tried to take advantage of me because I'm new here and I'm a woman. But instead Bob educated me. I got answers to all my questions, a crash course on light maintenance and a good laugh. They got me back on the road in no time and I didn't have to take off work. I am forever grateful. These guys are amazing!!! 10 stars!!! Woman approved!!!

Such a great experience with Bob. My engine was damaged past the point of repair, Bob was very straight forward and honest about what needed to be done and he probably wouldn t be the one to do it. As a young guy with little to no car knowledge, he walked me through some diagrams to make sure I understood what was happening.

Super friendly! Highly recommended this auto shop. If you want a great, HONEST and high quality work done on any vehicle they are the place to go. I personally have had them work on numerous vehicles, some due to bad purchases on my part. They have never tried to upsell or be dishonest even when the vehicle was not safe to drive. I trust them to get the job done in a timely manor and keep my family safe while keeping our vehicles on the road. We will continue using this shop for many many years to come.

My husband and I broke down on our way home from the U.P. Bob and his mechanics did anything and everything to get us on the road again. They were honest, genuine, hospitable mechanics who did a great job.Ps. They had two cute dogs to play with while we waited for our car to be done :)Pss. I know Bob says he's never on line but I hope he knows how thankful we were for him today!

Bob is an amazing guy. Definitely go here if you want a mechanic you can trust. He will be honest with you, he isn't trying to upsell any parts or repairs.

If Bob doesn't do the service or have the equipment to fix something he'll steer you to who does. He doesn't leave you hanging. If he's fixing it he'll show you what he's doing. Local business owned and operated by community member. Always happy to support local.

Nice guys over there at bob proctor repair. If u like supporting local business and live around the area its a great place to go. No b.s.,they get straight to the point,and do great work.
