We love this campground! Super quiet and perfect for adults and couples looking for a relaxing escape. Guaranteed to see some bald eagles flying - some land quite close! Owners have always been easy going and kind. We bring our kayaks and throw them in the water next to the restaurant/bar to watch the sunsets. 100% is our annual anniversary camping trip!

Hands down the best RV park on our trip around Lake Michigan. The park is very well thought out. Good sized sites and offset so you're not window to window. The setting is rural farm area with a view of the bay. Lovely apple orchard and lots of green space for the dogs to play. We even had a white tail doe with a pair of fawns visit the orchard several times.Clean and well maintained. Some wooded sites and some without trees. The Dock restaurant next door is terrific too.

Wow, wow, wow. This is our ideal campground. So quite and peaceful. Self check in. The owner has a mailbox with your name on an envelope with check-in paperwork, map, and restroom key. Our site is on top of the hill, and it's amazing. Some sites have views over the lake, and others are in the apple orchard. There is a restaurant right on the lake next to the campground, so expect to have dinner or drinks on the deck. If you are traveling on Rt 2 in the UP, make this a must 2 or more day stop.

Thank you, Bob and Barb, for an amazing week at Bay Ridge RV Park. Dinners and drinks are awesome at The Dock.It is very convenient to have this restaurant just walking distance from the campground. We enjoyed your delicious meals!!We highly recommend camping here with the gorgeous views of Big Bay De Noc.

My wife and I spent a few days at this great little park about two years ago. Nice quiet and peaceful. Only one small complaint, they need a larger laundry facility! Otherwise, I highly recommend this place.........

Absolutely beautiful spot, everything is so picturesque from the sites with limestone (?) forms to very tall trees whose leaves catch the sun, to the bay you can see off the ridge at the side of the hill. Nice sites, but gravel can be uneven. Cell service was non-existant for my wife and I and the wifi is hard to catch in the middle of the park, but it was a great detox. Beautiful beaches all around. Would love to come back.

We have only been here for 1 night out of 3 so far, but we LOVE this campground!! We have only ever camped at State Parks before and this RV park will definitely be put into our yearly rotation! The bathrooms/showers are beautifully clean, the grounds well kept and the views spectacular. It would be nice if there were a few little things for kids like a swing sets or something but I know this campground caters to the older group more. The wifi in the park is also nice! Surprised there is only 1 other camper here in mid May on a beautiful week.

This is a beautiful RV park. One of the prettiest locations we have camped in, nationwide. Right on Garden Bay of Lake Michigan. The campground is on a bluff with spectacular views. The sites are large and level.Sadly, the adjacent restaurant and marina have been closed since fall 2020 and is for sale. Will stay here again and have recommended Bay Ridge to others.A large grocery store is in Masistee, 18 miles away.Munising and Lake Superior is about N hour drive.

Great little campground with gorgeous scenic views! Not a lot of amenities like pool, playground, or dog park but the campsites were well layed out with ample room. Sites were full hook up, well graveled with thoughtful placement of limestone boulders and trees, and each with a picnic table and fire ring. Good cell coverage and WiFi too! Multiple sites have views of Big Bay De Noc and we had site 27 along the ridge that overlooked the bay. Very quiet setting on the penisula and close to lots of area attractions. There were even multiple varieties of apple trees.Only negative for us was the road leading from the main road to the campground. It was a gravel/dirt road with many small potholes. It rained the day we left and my truck and rig was caked with dirty from that road. I would give 4 1/2 stars because of the entry road.A lot of care has gone into this campground and I would definitely return!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Bay Ridge RV Park. The campground is peaceful and on the bay without direct beach/ shore access. Check-in was easy; the front office had an envelope with a key and instructions. While the showers and bathrooms were spotless, they were small. I included pictures of the men's bathroom, which had only one toilet. With 41 campsites, I would have expected more. There are two women's stalls and three small shower spaces. Each campsite is provided with a key that unlocks the bathrooms, showers, and laundry. I was not too fond of the added responsibility of carrying around a key and needing it each time I had to use the bathroom.I can't comment on the politeness of any staff. During our entire stay, we saw no staff members. It would have been nice to be greeted and welcomed.Despite this, the campground is located in a quiet and beautiful spot. It's an 11 mile drive Fayette Historic Townsite (worth the visit) and an hour from Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore (also worth a trip).

This is a beautiful campground. We did not use the restrooms, but found the campground very clean. Site 31 was a bit difficult to back into with our 42 5th wheel because of the big rock and tree across the road, but we made it. View through trees of water from our site. Dock bar next door was a great family run place to enjoy the views. YouTube review on this and the area on Jarhead&Ginger sJourney.

This is a hidden gem. Huge sites, incredible views of the bay, plenty of shade for most of the sites. They have the cleanest bathrooms and showers I've ever seen at a campground.Walking distance to The Dock, a fantastic restaurant we ate at 3 times while visiting. Oh and great fishing too.I'd give them 6 stars if Google would let me.

Very nice campground. Gravel pad. Full hook up and wifi was strong enough to stream. Bar had great service and the food was very good and a nice view of the bay.

My only complaint (which is not the park's fault) is the lack of cell service, but our WiFi is working fine. It wouldn't stop me from staying here again, but if you work from your phone like we do it's something to keep in mind. It's a beautiful park. The spots are nice and we enjoyed having so much room to walk our dogs. The restaurant is amazing and just a short walk down the hill.

Beautiful park in a serene setting. Owner is friendly and helpful. The food at "The Dock" Bar and Grill was excellent. I give this park 4.5 stars because of the following: Our site (19) was about a foot out of level front-to-back, which made it impossible to completely level or stabilize the front end of our 5th wheel. Also, there was no recycling offered here, even though the state park in Fayette, further down the peninsula, did have recycle bins. If we did return, we would specifically request a more level site if one were available.

View from site 30. It s a nice full hookup park, there are some really nice sites with fantastic views of the bay. All sites are on the ridge. WIFI isn t great, however you do have some service. The pads are not concrete so expect a little bit of leveling, but they are within an inch or two. The restaurant is closed but there are things just a short drive away. It s quiet and very pet friendly. All in all a great place to stay. A mix of older campers and families, no tent sites, no obnoxious campers when we were there.

We camped two nights in August 2019. $30 per night, full hookup. Large shady campsites, quiet and dark. There is a restaurant/bar adjacent to the campground.

What a nice place! Sites are very nice. I booked the same day. When I got there, I hadn't realized the park was along the water. I asked if I could switch sites and there was no problem, I was given the choice of 3 spots, I drove around to check them out and chose one. The sites are nice and taken well care of, not too close to each other. We really enjoyed our stay and watching the sunset from our site!

Beautiful, shady, near boat dock, overlooks water, spaced decently apart. Good for large groups. A lot of locals use this RV Park.

I made reservations here in April for a overnight stay. Everything went great and I received an email confirmation on April 30th from the owner/manager for my requested stay on July 28th. Then I get a call from the owner/manager on July 3 telling me that I can not stay there due to a 2 night minimum stay. Very poor way to manage a business. Needless to say I told what they could do with the reservation and found a better place to stay. Never ever will I book any number of days with this joke of an business.

This is a beautiful park. Our spot (Lot 41) looks right out to the Bay. There are showers and a laundry which I haven't checked out because I don't need them. It is a lovely and quiet campground and the manager, Marie, is very nice.

$950 was the monthly rate. WAY off the beaten path, which is nice! Super quiet - so quiet you can hear the wind turbines. Nice bath house, HUGE sites which are offset so you don't see your neighbors right next to your window. Picnic table and fire ring. Good water and power. The only downside was the camp internet. With zero Verizon service, the camp internet is critical. It varied from just ok to non-existent. With virtually no amenities, the price was a little high. The little grocery store just a mile south is fine for picking up a few necessities. Dollar General is about 10 minutes away, larger grocery stores in Manistique a half hour away, and it's a 45 minute drive to Escanaba and Walmart if needed. Fayette State Park just to the south is outstanding. Pictured Rocks is a little over an hour north and also fantastic.

This was our first time at this campground. I highly recommend this place! I would give it 10 stars if I could!! The camp is very nicely laid out. The restrooms are immaculate. Very peaceful, relaxing & pretty. We are over a five hour drive away , but we will definitely be coming back! We stayed another night as we didn't want to leave! We were fortunate enough to meet the owners. They are super nice & surprised us with a bottle of champagne, glasses & a koozie for our anniversary! Can't wait to book our trip for next summer!
