Oxi fresh carpet cleaning always takes our work cars and personal vehicles to American transmission to get fixed if needed, transmission oil changes every 50,000 mi. They are really, nice and friendly, straightforward and honest and I think that's what we all need as far as dealing with cars. So Oxi Fresh carpet cleaning would like to say thank you for your good service.

Be very careful don t do business with this place. The worst place you could ever go to they screwed me for $3000 on my truck . After sitting there for months 6 months liars rude they don t know how to work on cars you go there you re gonna be screwed with your money stay away from this place.im taking them to court to get my money back

The worst shop in town! I had to come back every one to two weeks to drop the car to fix a problem, which in the end they couldn t fix it. They took my car to the dealership because they re not able to fixed by they re own!

From start to finish my experience with American transmission in garden city was excellent. I have been to a few shops in my time to have work done on my cars and hands down this is the best one yet. They are clean and very organized and have walked me through the details on the work they did. (In terms I can understand) lol I highly recommend them for any transmission needs.Service: Transmission

So I have got my Blazer back now for about a week now. I had a transmission rebuilt and control arms fixed. I did some research before I even started fixing it. American Transmission kept coming up. I have heard from a few people about this shop and good experiences they have had. So I decided to take it here. I am glad I did. Not only where they very helpful and offering to come pick my vehicle up but they made sure I understood everything that needed to be fixed. They make sure I was kept up to date on the progress of my car and how long it would take. They took car of me. You know you always think transmissions shops are out to get you. This one will not. The prices were very reasonable, there is even a coupon online. The new management was professional and made sure I knew what I was getting into. The mechanics was awesome. Not only did they go that extra mile and fixed my exhaust leaked. He made sure that my car was back to 100% before giving it back to me. They showed me the old parts and how bad they were. They even told me what to look out for in the future. I have already told a few people about how good this place is. Definitely going back here if I need anything else done. A+ in my book.

Transmission is great but resulted in other issues. Owner recommended Road Ready for these repairs which were unable to resove the problem. Truck out of commission for 2 weeks. 1 at the transmission shop, 1 at road ready auto repair.

Amazing experience! They we're fast and professional. Really took good care of my car. And reasonably priced! Couldn't be more satisfied with the service! Go see Donny! He will definitely take care of your transmission needs!

Donny was great, they transferred my car from another shop which said I needed $4,000 for a new trans, but Donny was able to fix the existing transmission for less than half the price! Willing to work with you to get you back on the road. Superb! I won't hesitate to come back again.

I don't review places all that much, but I have to give some major props to Donnie and his staff, my transmission was shot and leaking horribly. I was able to get towed to American Transmission where Donnie was not only able to get to it right away, but he also kept me in the loop the whole time. Donnie was very knowledgeable, hilarious, and was willing to work with us on the price. Keep up the good work!

This by far is the worst shop I have ever been to in my life. Not even sure if they should be able to call there selves a car shop. They have had my car for over 2 weeks now and are still not done with it. On tuesday March the 24th of 2015 I contacted them to get an update on my vehicle because nobody from this place of so called business had the common courtesy to call me and inform me of what is going on at all. At this point they had my vehicle for 11 days and they stated and I quote that they had no idea what was wrong with my car and did not know how long it was going to be before I got it back. Than another guy from one of the other locations came in there because of the chaos I suppose and stated that my car was top priority and gave me his word that it would be done in 2 days. Still no calls back to me or my wife to let me know the progress of my vehicle. I have put over 800 dollars in car rental fees at this point. Went up there today and Sue the manager of this location was very smug and never the less extremely rude stated that my car would not be done until Tuesday March the 31st. Than I stated that I work 45 minutes away and have to have a car for work and my two children. She said that she would flip the bill from now until Tuesday for the rental. At this point I am already out over 800 dollars whats the point. Than she has the audacity to say that she will not insure the rental vehicle. Seriously I would rather hire a dog to fix my vehicle next time. Worst piece of garbage shop I have ever been to and will never I repeat never go back there again. Forgot to mention they already had my vehicle before and it is under warranty supposedly getting fixed. What are they fixing I do not know still to this day

USA Transmission is 100% a shop you can TRUST is very hard to find now a days, that's honest and wont try to tell you something is bad when its not. Just to make a buck.Transmission repairs or rebuilds can be expensive but need to be done at times. No one needs added or hidden cost. You wont get that here.I dont write reviews unless, the customer service or product is well worth it. USA transmission is well worth it!You can TRUST they're diagnosis and they wont try to be dishonest and greedy. I'm so happy with my experience on rebuilding my 02 explorer transmission. I will not ever go anywhere else or recommend anyone to a transmission shop accept USA transmission.Thanks Donnie

On October 14th I had my car towed to American Transmissions, my transmission was out. They paid for the tow bill because they fixed my transmission and the tow bill was included. They were very informative, took very good care of me and my 2010 Ford Focus. They did a wonderful job, kept me informed, and I got a warranty of 12/12. I would send all my family and friends to this location and if I ever have a problem I will be back!

Took my '95 Chevy Camaro down to them after the trans began to slip in and out of second gear. They were super competitive on the pricing and beat all the other local shops. The rebuild took two days and my car drives flawlessly now. It's been 4 months and I haven't had a single issue. Quality work at a quality shop. I would definitely recommend them.

We had to have a new transmission put in a 98 Pontiac Bonneville supercharged. They did a great job, with the exceptions of the time that it took to get it done. But the owner was even nice enough to get us a rental while we were waiting on our car. They always answered my calls and let me know what was going on and the job took a little longer because they made sure to put the Best Transmission that they could in our car.

I recently bought a Dodge Journey As-Is from a well known used car Dealer that I choose not to name, 24hrs after the purchase of the vehicle the transmission would not shift from 1st gear, after notifying the Dealer of this lemon, I contacted American Transmission and they were on it, they made my vehicle priority and replaced the parts needed to make the vehicle run like new again and gave a warranty on their work! Thanks Donnie and Rachel for your customer service and timeliness. You saved the day! I will recommend you to friends and family anytime.

Between Gail and P.J they are two of the best folks I've met in the service industry. Within two days they had my Ram with a extremely rare transmission back on the the road. At the drop of the hat they always answered their phones were helpful and courteous. Most of all Gail did everything in her power to have my truck back on the road so i could attend my salmon fishing trip. I'm personally in the heavy truck business at a dealer and she surpassed my expectations. Honestly way better than any dealer could. I will forever recommend American Transmission.

I recently had my Chevy 2500 transmission and transfercase rebuilt by these guys because I worked in the automotive industry for 25 years and recently retired I am Master Certified, I worked on everything except rebuilding transmissions. I have even sent customers of my own to them over the years because of their reputation and never did I receive any bad remarks. These guy impressed me with their patients and outstanding customer service I spent 3400 dollars with them in February saving 480 dollars and received a 2 year extended warranty as appreciation for sending them so much work over the years. Ask for chris he made sure that I received the best customer service possible and helped me save so much money I would reccomend these guys to everyone including family and friends.

If I could give them a 0 I would. This place is terrible. They were supposed to have the job done, on the transmission of my moms car, in two days but they had it from 12/8/2017 to 12/22/2017. My mom paid them $3,059 to fix it, but she got it back two weeks later because it had a shudder in the transmission. So she took it back on 12/27/2017 got it back on 12/29/2017 and they put fluid in it and told her to drive it around, but the shudder never went away. We took it back and Gail said she would replace it because it was A Faulty Trans. After two more weeks of constantly calling, my mom finally got to drop it back off on 1/24/2018 and today is 2/5/2018 and my mom still does not have her truck back. Gail has not been answering my moms calls and has been giving my mom the run around ever since we dropped it off. Saying that she will replace it, then it was going to be rebuilt, then the computer inside the trans was bad and that my mom now has to pay $674 for it when it was their screw up. Gail is having Dave the mechanic call my mom instead of calling herself and is now trying to split the cost, my mom told Dave to tell Gail if she does not have my moms truck ready by 2/7/2018 that my mom will be taking Gail to court and going through the BBB.

Scam artist. Took our car there for diagnosis on the brakes sticking and smoking. They wanted to charge us over $800 to replace the whole braking system on only the rear brakes and then suggested that we should drop the transmission for whatever reason I don't know, so they could check it out. We never even mentioned anything being wrong with the transmission it was fine as far as we knew. And still is. When we decided to decline their service the woman who works the reception desk seemed a little peeved at us for declining and frowned at us as we left. Believe the reviews. Avoid at all costs.

I took my car up there and needed a new trans. Cost $3000. Since then, its been back to that ship 4, going on 5 times in a month! Trans fluid continues to leak. They say its fixed and it never is. So very tired of this.

Clutch went completely out while I was on a road trip hundreds of miles from home. I needed a quick, good repair. American Transmission came through for me 100%. They were reccomended by a mechanic who works for a different outfit which I took as a good sign. Called American Transmission and they quoted a fair price, offered to help arrange a tow and the next day had my car back on the road with a brand new clutch. Couldn't ask for better service.

Rebuilt my manual transmission with another transmission I gave him and walked out with less than a $100 bill. Still shutting awesome to this day. Will definitely be back if I ever need work againService: TransmissionService: Transmission

Go somewhere else! These guys charged me $3k for a transmission, then 6 months later, my car is leaking trans fluid (which it wasn't before) from 2 different places and they refuse to fix it because they claim "it wasn't leaking then" and "we didn't touch that area". Horrible service. They claim they'll fix any problems for free but won't come clean and acknowledge when they did a shorty job, but they'll be quick to quote you another $800 to fix those problems!

This is Damon I was unable to sign in under my account so I'm under my wife's account, I went to AMERICAN TRANSMISSION in Garden City for a transmission issue, I first encountered Rachell who greeted me and was very very courteous, she got her worker Paul who quickly diagnosed the problem, turns out I needed a bushing underneath my truck, simple fix, Gail the owner showed up and was super sweet. All in all my experience was super cool , I would definitely recommend taking your vehicle to America Transmission if you have any issues,

They didn't fix the problem had the car for 3 weeks and over charged me. She told me to rebuild the transmission it wouldn't over 2,400 and they did. I would definitely not rebuild the transmission they just want to charge you more.

Great local business that is taking care of customers with an old-fashioned touch of trust. Good communication on timing expectations -and stuck to the quote for the work provided. If I need trans work in the future, I plan to bring it here.

Hi. I took my vehicle to American Transmission in Garden City, Mi and I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO EVERYONE.
