I had a great experience! I took my car here when my transmission went and as a female, I didn t feel like I was being taken advantage of price wise, like other places I ve been to. They were honest, respectful and answered all my questions! I got my car back pretty quickly too and it s been running great ever since! I recommend my neighbor go to them and he too was very happy with his experience!!Service: Transmission

I had car trouble while driving from out of town to visit family. This place was recommended to me. I m glad I took their advice. I was very pleased with the service, and that they didn t talk down to me or act like I didn t know what I was doing because I am a woman. They were reasonably priced. The car was fixed quickly and permanently which is important when you re driving 1200 miles.

They totallytrashed the inside of my car!!! Took my car to these people beause my car was not starting and would be dead when i came out of stores. Dewys told me I needed a new starter. I told them that i just got a new starter a few months ago from the dealership. They told me that starter was bad, and they did not install it correctly. So they put in another starter so they said and charged me for it. When I received the car back, my car was doing the same thing. It Would not start. I Called this company back and spoke with the owner told him that the problem was not the starter as my car us doing the same thing, it would not start. I told him i want a refund. The owner hung up on me and would not answer the phone when i called back numerous times. I do not trust these people and DO NOT RECOMMEBD THEM!!! STAY AWAY!

It is so nice to find a repair facility that actually knows what they re doing!Not only did they repair my vehicle, they did it in a timely manner!Everyone were very informative and very respectful!I would recommend them to all my friends and family!!Great job guys!!!

Just had a trans rebuild, cost 3,700.00. so far everything seems to function properly. but they destroyed my interior. There was oil on everything, the floor was stained with oil. That's totally unacceptable for a service center. hopefully they fix this part of the experience. I'll edit the review before my warranty is up.edit: The owner ended up calling me and sent a detailing company to my house. They cleaned the entire car at no cost to meet whatsoever. this is absolutely top-not service.

Great service, great price and most of all they treated my wife with the utmost respect and understanding. They even offered financing with 90 days same as cash. Can t thank you enough!!!

Paid 1368 for a seal to be replaced on my transmission.. get the truck back with the check engine light on. Am told its the summer gas by Keith.. then the owner tries to play it off as if my o2 sensor was bad before coming into the shop when the truck had NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON AT ALL.. could turn the truck off and on 100 times before they got ahold of it and check engine light. Now its on constantly. Was told to drop it back off. This is after 2 weeks of not having my truck for the repair. They broke the sensor kicking the exhaust around on the floor as there are scratches on the system where it would be sitting on the ground. They broomed me out the door and tried claiming this wasnt their fault. As always they moved on to other vehicles and im made to wait to have the new problem they created looked at.. very typical of a greedy shop who doesnt stand by their work. Mistakes happen.. they chose to ignore it and try to have me accept it wasnt their fault when it 100% is. The sensor that is broken was already replaced at some point in the past. Its not orginal like they tried to claim. Just another greedy shop who preys on the ignorance of the public it seems.

This place will not overcharge or offer things you don t need like other places. They gave me an estimate far cheaper than several other places and I paid that amount when the job was done. Very pleased with their integrity.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

VERY unprofessional, rude, scam artists. Was referred by a neighboring shop. Took it to them for diagnostics they claim for it to be one part and charged an outrageous amount for something that didn't fix the problem. Car was there for a month and still never had my problem fixed. Then, when asking for a receipt for the replaced part I was told " I dont have to show you anything." When in the state of Michigan all customers should be asked if they want their old parts back. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND WHATSOEVERService: General repairs & maintenance

My first experience with this auto & transmission shop two months ago. The work was done in about two business days (reasonable) and my old vehicle shifts smoothly again. The repair costs was reasonable (I had an idea what needed to be changed and the cost), up front, no hidden extra costs afterwards. Good quality work and customer service. Very happy with the shop and the staff; far far far better than the first shop a few years back which did work on my transmission.

Its a shame im writing this because i support business in my area. However i have to warn people the this place had a vehicle of mine for well over 3 weeks without being able to diagnose the vehicle.. They did however charge me to change out a neutral switch that did not resolve the issue. Then would not supply me with the one they took out because as one of there reps. Says they throw parts out every friday... Yet another rep. Tells me they can put in the old one and give me money back... A lot of double sided talk up here.. Oh and let me warn you not to suggest what the problem seems like, because even after they diagnosed the car and said the neutral switch was the issue, they turn around and say i said it was the neutral switch.. If you want to avoid weeks of what was supposed to be a 7 1/2 hour repair and misdiagnosis, this is place is not recommended. Ive argued enough and will not be responding to any more of the run around from Dewys Transmission on here, so if they have any commemts, they have my #.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

As someone who knows little to none about cars I wasn't sure what to expect. First shop diagnosed my car uncorrectly and I ended up doing my own research and called Deweys. Was quoted a price that was $1100 less than the dealership was going to charge me. I dropped my car off early and they got to it quickly. Before they quoted me. I had my car back the next day! Super great price and they were so communicative with me about everything. Including showing me photos of exactly what had happened. Thanks Dan and the guys! You made my shop experience great and I'll always recommend Deweys!!

I just had one of my company work vehicles into Dewey's Transmission for a big repair and they got it back on the road quickly because Mike and his crew understand how business works. Dewey's Transmission has been working on our vehicles for 25 plus years and Mike has always been honest and done a great job. Dewey's Transmission has earned my trust and that is why my whole family takes their vehicle's to this repair garage. Mike will tell you like it is because he cares about his customers that are like family to him. Great Job Mike and crew. Dennis

This is a follow-up. Had my truck for less than 17 miles when the transmission failed. Dewey's sent a tow truck to pick it up.While loading, transmission indeed failed for tow truck driver.Called from Dewey's latter same day. Fluid inspection, not burned. Can't find anything wrong?Kept truck overnight to drive around some more.Dewey's suggest that there is some foreign objects working it's way though the system.Got my truck back the next day and it's behaving like it should. I'm satisfied with their warranty promise.

Performed a tune up and transmission check. Shortly thereafter noticed fluid dripping from engine and check engine light came on. Took the car back up. Was told they couldn't look at it until the next day and that they had 15 cars ahead of me. Would not recommend!

$1300 for a INCOMPLETE jobPaid for rear axle gears to be fixed on my truck. They fixed them and my truck runs fine.My issue is that gear box is still leaking fluid. So I decided to check it out myself.Turn out they didn't put on a gasket. Gaskets are only 8 BUCKS!WTH did I pay $1300 for? Is that a scheme to get me to come back and pay more?

Had my Ram 1500's transmission fixed here. Excellent mechanics, great price, and an overall wonderful experience. I can assure you I will be having my vehicle serviced at Dewey's in the future.

I've been bringing all of my cars here for over 10 years. Reliable and speedy service. Pricing is VERY reasonable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

These guys took forever to even look at my car and when they found out the problem they didnt even know the name of the part and on top of that they still wanted a $45 fee for looking at it and telling me that I had to go find the part in a junk yard. anyway these guys are not professional at all and I dont recommend themService: ElectricalService: Electrical

I was going to have them to put a transmission pan on a 92 Grand Marquis but I sold it before I got a chance to take it back in but they do great work

Took my van here, was leaking trans fluid. They fixed it in one day and were very reasonable on pricing. Great friendly service.

These guys know there stuff, they don't sell you on unnecessary repairs and fix what needs to be done fast. My family has trusted them for repairs since the mid '80's.
