Dropped off my vehicle and picked up a loaner car on 1pm Friday Labor Day weekend. After McDonald ford told my warranty company the engine swap was 5 thousand more than quoted a month before ($12,000 became $17,000). My warranty company didn t want to go though with it anymore after gouging their labor rate and parts. The service center called me saying I have to return the car and we agreed on bringing it back on Tuesday because it was late in the day, a holiday weekend and I was stuck at work. 10 minutes go by and I get a call again telling me they are on the way to my job to get the car because it s for paying customers even though the regional manager of the company I was working with was willing to pay whatever fees they were requesting for the car. Very ignorant, vindictive and money hungry service team down there.

Currently 9 months pregnant and went to test drive a vehicle. I was never offered to come inside(it was only about 35� outside), a water or to have a seat while they put on the license plate so we could go for a drive. After we test drove a luxury vehicle the sales man tried getting us into a minivan that had dents and scratches, more miles then what we had wanted, and way below the price range we said we were looking at. We decided to try it out. While the employee moved cars all around and removed the license plate and added it to the other vehicle he just left us outside waiting. I ve never experienced this while looking at vehicles, and most likely will not be coming back to this dealership or suggesting any friends or family to come here.

McDonald Ford is a great dealership to work with! We recently purchased a vehicle and it was a pleasant experience. If you re looking to buy here, ask for Raz! He is friendly and customer service oriented. I needed assistance after we purchased and he responded to my calls and emails quickly and took great care of me. Highly recommend this dealership and Raz!

Salesman raz was great, but they tried to inflate the price and buried a fee for accessories and installation for $839, i definitely did not get accessories or installation and was swindled. I would buy from raz again but not mcdonald ford. I would not recommend mcdonald ford to others. I do like the car it was just the scammy buying process I did not like at all.

Purchased vehicle 1/10/24, after 2-3 days we noticed oil everywhere. Contacted local shop to see if they could check it out. Couldn t wait as they re booked out. Took back to McDonald to have them see what the problem was. Cracked oil filter housing, read that if they re tightened too tight they can crack, which we think was done during an oil change at the dealership prior to us buying it. They want $1150 to repair it!!! We ve put 3 quarts of oil in since buying it two weeks to the date. It s leaking a lot and everywhere. The part to fix is $250 (according to estimate from McDonald), so $900 for labor . I will take it to get fixed elsewhere and never do business with them again and suggest you don t give them your business either, unless you want an $1150 or more? bill a week or so after purchase.

I really like this place. As a female, it can be tough going in for auto service, since all the technicians are men. However, the workers have been nothing but professional to me, and I am very comfortable going there as a regular customer. They are always helpful and answer my questions well.

I have been looking for a new (to me) Explorer for about a month now cause my 2007 4wd Explorer was on its last legs. After coming across a 2015 4wd Explorer in metallic bronze (which looks more rust orangeish red then bronze if you ask me) on cars.com I asked about it through the app and Loretta emailed me back and had Josh one of the managers contact me. The day I went to look at it Josh had a family engagement so one of the sales people Annabelle helped me with the help of another Manager Dave. Between the 3 of them My wife and I were taken care of extreamly well the car was SUPER clean and they even did a seacon detailing and wash for us after the sale was finalized. They provided snacks for my daughter and bottled water if we wanted as well as coffie. The waiting area has a fish tank and small live birds which helps keep kids atention if you need to wait for anything. When my wife noticed one of my weather seals on the driver side door had come loose they got me in first thing check all seals on every door and the rear hatch and fixed any seal that was coming loose at no charge. Overall they were a great help and would buy from them again.

AMAZING TO PURCHASE, NOT GOOD FOR SERVICE! I was willing to settle on a few features for my new F-150, but Joe kept at it and quickly found me my new truck! It is EXACTLY what I wanted, and the price was great too! It was great dealing with Joe. Chris did a great job for financing too. Everyone was great to talk to, super friendly, and made the whole experience great. I will be coming back to buy another Ford in the future!I WOULD NEVER COME BACK FOR SERVICE if I didn't get the extended warranty. Will not ever get another extended warranty on a new Ford purchase. Still happy with purchasing at McDonald Ford (mainly because of Joe Yax) but not happy one bit with service. Called to check and see if mufflers are covered under my extended warranty, was told they didn't know and would need to bring it in to find out. Found out it wasn't covered and asked to pay $165 for the service NOT performed, because nothing was fixed on my muffler. I paid it, and will NEVER be back for anything out of warranty for service.

Used service center for oil change, tire rotation. Etc. Now pay attention to this! Not only were snacks available along with cold bottled water, there was a full freezer of ice cream delights. FREE. So yes. I love this place.Rocking cool.

I thought crooked and scummy dealerships were a thing of the past.I purchased a Honda Accord from this worthless place about a year ago in March. I was told the bank was requiring $2,000 worth of paint and carpet protection and $900 GAP insurance. I called the bank and they said absolutely not and this was not true. I called and wrote the dealer to ask about it and of course they dodged my questions. They said they could return the GAP insurance $900 but they never did. They also overcharged me for the car. It automatically reduces the price as time goes on and since I asked if it had all the warning lights on a week prior to actually going to look at it, I guess that locked in my price.I hired a lawyer and they told the lawyer that the paint and protection plan was only $1000 and I was overcharged somehow and I would get that $900 from the GAP and $1000 back. Of course this never happened and they just avoid any requests at all now. I would highly advise to never do business with these crooks. An absolute disgrace.

I had to take my 2015 Ford Escape in to here for service. My turbo on the engine went bad and had to be replaced. Dealerships seem to be the only ones that can deal with this issue. That usually means expensive repairs. Which it was, however, McDonald Ford in Freeland did this with less pain than I anticipated. Had to wait a bit for parts, but once the parts came in the repairs started and a few days later I had my car back and running like new again. They even changed the oil on my car as a bonus.

Outstanding! I was instantly greeted by Steve with such respect! He made me and my kids comfortable and always made sure to check and make sure we were still comfortable! I would recommend working with Steve to anybody looking!! I also loved Rick he was helping play with my kids who got ansy from waiting! Deff a family oriented business! Worked with Dave and he was a great person, very helpful! Honestly 100000/10

I bought my new to me van back in June from Josh H. It was my first time ever buying a vehicle from a dealership (all mine have been hand me downs before that). It was a great experience. He made sure I understood everything, he knew I wanted to get it checked out by my mechanic and even let me take it home to test drive for the weekend, helped me through all of the purchasing and financing as well. There was an issue with a trim piece and he got that taken care of too. I would recommend going there and talking to Josh H. He even surprised and called me for my birthday to with me a happy birthday. Had a very great experience.

These people are crooks. They bought my truck, put it on their lot for sale without a clear title and did not send the payoff check to my bank. Lied to me a dozen times and hung up on me when I called them out on the lies. Going to sue them for ruining my credit because my bank has not been paid for the truck and will not release the title until it is. Stays in my name past due, until the bank is paid. Don't believe them if they tell you "their accountant is on vacation". Honestly, how does a business operate that is dependent on a single "accountant"...not that I believe that for a second.

This place was amazing! We were immediately greeted by the sales manager and he was so down to earth and helpful! The young lady who helped us out throughout the whole process was Annabelle, and she was AMAZING! This was our first time buying a vehicle from a dealership and we were very satisfied! Also I am completely in LOVE with my new(to me) 2016 Ford Escape!Thanks so much to the team, you're greatly appreciated! 10/10 will recommend to everyone!

The guys in the service department are amazing and took great care of me even though I did not buy my F150 from them or the extended warranty. Danny at the service desk was very helpful and easy to work with, he did everything he could to work with my 3rd party warranty to get them to cover the necessary costs of the repair. Even when the warranty company refused to pay for some repairs, the dealership worked with me on the cost of the remaining repairs so I didn't need to take out another mortgage. I appreciate everything they did for me and I will definitely not hesitate to take any of my other vehicles to them or refer people to them. Thank you guys for everything.

This was the worst time I ve ever been to a dealership and also had to leave the company to find a way back to the company to get the car and it wasn t ready when they said so I had to wait almost the week, I didn t have a loaner to use they didn t mention they could come and get the car to take to the shop I mean this been going on since I have the car so would you call it a service? I don t think you would be treated that way. I will never get a ford lease a ford have any kind of interaction with ford as long as God give me breath!

Bought a 2007 Ford 150 as is. When I got it home it was leaking power steering fluid badly a problem we both should have noticed. I was first told it must have broke down on my 2 mile trip home. Later they agreed to split the bill with me which I thought was fair being as I bought it as is. While the sales department sold me a vehicle with a problem Ryan in service was great keeping me informed and fixing it timely

I had an excellent experience with the service department. I had just purchased a used vehicle from them, and a few weeks later I needed a major repair. Two quotes I received from other repair shops were ~ $4500 - 5000 for the repair. I went back to McDonald Ford, and they offered to fix the vehicle for far less than the other two shops. My final bill was ~ $2340, which saved me a ton of money. I'd definitely buy from them again and use their service department. Thank you McDonald Ford!
