Reading these reviews I had to leave mine. July 2023 I drop my vehicle off for brake issues. Before I get an estimate I get a call informing me they broke a caliper bolt and the caliper would need to be replaced before they could check it out. Fine. It needs a master cylinder they say. Fine. The owner Doug then spends the next month explaining why my vehicle is not ready yet. Mostly on how they could not bleed the system. Thats because you need to power bleed the system, cant do that at the wheel. But Doug never says they cant do the job. Just not ready yet. I would call every couple days and if Doug did not anwser no one could tell me anything about my car. I did not recieve one phone call from Doug or the shop the entire month after I agreed to the repair.Aug 2023, I pay $1100 dollars to get my vehicle back undriveable and missing parts. Doug also kept my engine cover, and lied to me with all his chest to me my vehicle did not come with an engine cover. My car is a 2011. It most certainly did and was on the car when I dropped it off. So I tow my car to a dealership. Problem was a hydraulic control unit and had been the unit. Not the master cylinder. 3 days later I have my car back. 2 of those days were spent waiting for the part. Dealship got a good laugh at Doug, and me for getting ripped off by Doug. I am not a mechanic so I cant beat myself up too much for getting scammed by one. DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING BESIDES MAYBE A MUFFLER. Stay away from here. Liars and scammers.

After checking out prices at other facilities doing the same kind of work muffler Man gave me the best price ever and nobody could beat it I'm going back for more work I was in and out no time and the guys were great thanks guys

Brought my car in last Saturday the guy said he would order the part just co.e back next Saturday and he would fix it. Well I go in today and it's another guy who has know idea what is going. So evidently no one ordered the part and he wont even look at the car today. So this place sucks and they dont deserve even one star.

Doug, the owner, was a very genuine, communicative, and professional guy. He treated me like an equal and informed me on exactly what components of my car wasn t working and why. He kept communication with every action he did by calling me constantly (for initial transmission test, what it came back with, before putting spark plugs on, how it performed during test drive after work), he truly went above and beyond. Also very reasonably priced. If I need future work done, I will be coming back to him and him only. Really wonderful service all around - thanks Doug for working me into your busy holiday schedule in my complete desperation!

Great place to go for MANY services. I've had my exhaust rebuilt there a handful of times over the last 10+ years (rust happens), but also you can count on reliable service at a fair price for brakes, suspension, engine work, fluid services, AC, and others! Highly recommended, definitely swing by and see the results for yourself.

Really good place to go to if you want some exhaust work done I got my mufflers deleted for a pretty good deal and they did a fairly good job on it had me in and out in about 45 minutes and did a good job with the welds

This place is so high on there prices cost me $628 for a pipe and muffler.WATCH OUT! Go somewhere else trust me.

I took my 99 mustang for a dual exhaust & the job was done professionally & fast also Doug at the counter is very friendly helpful with any questions & i recommend this place to anyone looking for a fair price $

Went to Muffler man today to fix my impala! And I'm blown away by their service by far one of the kindest most honest auto shops! I probably got on there nerves with my calls. And never once were they rude. Also loved that they educate you on the part that needs repair. Price was super reasonable! They are super kind. They have my trust and I will be a ongoing customer! Thank you!

This Muffler Man location is amazing. They were incredibly honest, fair and fast. They went so far above and beyond and all while coming in at far below the estimated cost of repair. They went so far out if their way for us and I and my family are eternally grateful. We will be going back there for any work our vehicle needs, gladly, and recommending them to everyone we know.

Doug and Harold were very helpful and knowledgeable. They diagnosed the problem on the spot and had my vehicle fixed and back on the road in 30 minutes. On top of all that gave me a fair price. Thanks for all the help fellas!

Took my Chevy Blazer to have a new muffler put on and the service was outstanding, the job was done right, was very affordable, and the man working the front desk was very friendly. I will definitely come again for future repairs. Highly recommend!

Great customer service! Very quick and efficient. Reasonably priced. I had no idea why my car was so loud. It was 2 bolts that had broken off and need to be replaced. I called 2 other places before bringing my car here. The other places lost my business because they don't know how not to be rude on a phone call.

Literally the best service! The guys were nice and hilarious. I brought my car in that afternoon for a muffler repair and had it the next morning! Quick and easy fix, fast and best service. Definitely recommend!

I can't and will not rate them as mechanics for they did not work on my vehicle, however I will rate them poor for 0 zero customer service.I contacted them 4 different times 2 times in person and 2 times on the phone. Doug said he was waiting on parts. Even though I contacted a Chevy dealer myself and dealer said the same part was available the next day. Not 1 return call from them.I had to take my business else where.

My experiences here have been fantastic! They do great work, explain-in detail-everything that needs to be replaced/repaired. Give estimates and do all work in a timely manner. They don't just do mufflers. I've had my muffler, brakes, tune up, oil change and major work done by them. All was done with excellence.

Biggest scammers, I brought my car in because my brakes were making a noise, they call back saying my brake's were really bad and my rear brakes were totally wore out, they gave me an estimate of $1000 saying that it might be more because they don't know what else they will find. I immediately went to pick up my car and brought it to another place down the street, which I should have taken my car in the first place, the owner who's a master mechanic checked my car, said my rear brakes were good had 50% left on them and my front brakes were very good, I just needed new rotars and some other things, it's going to cost me a little over $400. I will never take my car to muffler Man on Groesbeck again and I don't recommend it to anyone. I can't believe how dishonest people can be. You guy's should be ashamed for ripping off inocent hard working people who can't afford to have new car's.

I've been taking my vehicles here for at least 20 - 25 years and they've always done excellent work without a long wait, and best of all, the price can't be beat.I'll be taking my gf's car there very soon. It's always a pleasure doing business with people who care about their customers.

VERY unprofessional !DO NOT COME HERE! They broke ignition key and refused to fix it ! Cost me 200$ plus a tow there! Unreal ! 300$ down the drain!!Told me to take my Jeep else where. Very disappointed in how they treated me when I was just trying to get my Jeep fixed! Do not recommend coming here at all ! Save yourself time & BS go else where where you'll be treated with respect and get your car issues resolved.

They were kind of snappy and rude. I appreciate then looking at my car, but if someone came in with an attitude and they talked to them like they talked to me, a fight would probably ensue. Can't recommend.

I used to have work done on my truck in the past by these guys. It's been so long ago I actually forgot about this place until I was told by another mechanic that my exhaust was bad. I called and made an appt to go in i took it in .....was greeted in a professional manner, job was done quickly and efficiently. Guys were great ..great personalities..great service I will rely on them for future repairs! Thanks again .

Pulled up at 8am, no appointment, no call ahead and these guys were ready to work. No wait. They overhauled me in about an hour. Very professional and told me what the problem was and what it would cost. I knew both answers because I did the research. First, they were 100% right about the problem and were very honest. Second I researched the price of parts at, well, ALOT, not including labor. They did both for A LITTLE! My wallet didn't need CPR or ICU. I WILL BE BACK FOR ANY/ALL WORK. THEY RIPPED ME OFF BIG TIME! I took my Honda ( which I've had for 7 years without any problems whatsoever) to this place to get new brakes. They told me I needed a Serpentine belt. I felt suspicious right away, but I went along with the repairs cause a snow storm was coming in about 2 days. 3 hours and $430 later I left the garage and went home. Literally 24 hours later the car starts acting g weird. Engine light comes on, and I can't get over 50 mph on the highway. Took it back to the garage, and of course they claim it has nothing to with what they fixed. Also now it suddenly needs another $800 in repairs!!! They refuse to give any money back! This is a good car I've driven 100,000+ miles with that NEVER let me down once. After one visit to this garage it suddenly needs alot of work?? DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS PLACE!!!

Great prices and excellent service! They are very helpful, honest and respectful to women. They really care about getting your vehicle fixed properly at the best price they can give you. I will definitely be using them for all my auto repairs. I highly recommend them!!!!!!
