Fantastic towing service! I was stranded on the other side of Lansing and they worked it out with AAA so they could come and pick up me and my Tahoe. 4 or 5 other towing services declined and AAA said I was my own. I called R&B direct and Jim closed shop and drove over from Muth and rescued me. It was late January and boy was I glad when Jim showed up about 9pm with those flashing lights. My alternator had died on my way back from Indiana. I drove as far as I could and I just made it to within 100 miles from home so AAA would cover it. At 94miles from Muth my battery was drained and my lights turned off at the Pottersville exit on I-69. I texted a pic of my AAA card to R&B while sitting in my dead Tahoe and they worked it out to get paid direct from AAA. I made it home about midnight safe and sound. I can't recommend R&B highly enough!!!

I HIGHLY recommend this business! We had a motorcycle accident and were taken by ambulance to ER. I had a chance to speak with the tow truck driver requesting please be careful as we love this bike and is nearly brand new 2021.He was very polite smiled and said he would not drag it out of the ditch and will be careful He seemed sincere"I felt assured".The following day we rented a U-Haul arrived at their lot and were relieved to see little to no damage other than fairing scratches, missing mirror and ALOT of dead grass weeds on te bottom of bike frame "that we did trying to ride it out" Nearly made it too. It was dark outside and we didn't see the ditch had it been a dirt bike we would've jumped it. Instead the ship went down like an oversized anchor.I commented about the nice tow truck driver and our conversation then learned he's the owners son who kept his word "no grass other than the bottom" They cherry picked the bike up & out.The owner Mike and help Justin even loaded the bike for us since we were pretty beat up "could've been much worse"We are great full to the man upstairs and thankful to Reinert and Bender for a hob well done!!Note: Vassar Police Officer Maxi, Ambulance driver and Medic were kind and of the upmost professionalism.I had to add this due to someone else's rude review left which sounded like a young kid who don't know how the system works.

great towing company. They arrived within half hour of call and drove us all the way home to Livonia from Birch Run!! Then dropped our vehicle off at the dealership. The driver (Jim) couldn't have been nice. Made a bad situation not so bad. Thank you Jim. It was very nice meeting you.Mary & Russell D'Angelo

I had a very poor experience with the towing services. They left our car unlocked outside of a closed auto shop during the weekend. We stopped by later that day to make sure it was delivered to the right spot, and noticed then the doors were unlocked. When we called that Monday to discuss the situation the response we received was very rude and accusatory, not what I would expect from a professional business. It turns out they not only left the car unlocked but the keys were left in it as well. We will be avoiding this company in the future.

Mike Bender is completely unprofessional!!! Nothing but contradictory information regarding insurance procedures. Refused to put my appointment date in writing & was extremely argumentative.Take your automotive needs elsewhere, Mike Bender clearly does not want businesses.By the way MIKE BENDER, nice try on trying to close out my claim with Progressive. I am in control of my truck & insurance needs,, not you.

WARNING TO TOURISTS AND AAA MEMBERS. THIS BUSINESS WILL SCREW YOU OVER. THIS IS AN UNTRUSTWORTHY AUTO SHOP. THE FRANKENMUTH POLICE WILL ATTEMPT TO IMPOUND YOUR CAR HERE EVEN IF YOU HAVE INSURANCE BY DECEIVING YOU. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES LET A FRANKENMUTH POLICE OFFICER CALL A TOW TRUCK FOR YOU, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE INSURANCE THAT COVERS IT. THEY ARE NOT TRYING TO BE HELPFUL, THEY ARE TRYING TO IMPOUND YOUR CAR AND SCAM YOU.The Frankenmuth Police Department and Reinert & Bender left me and my girlfriend STRANDED in Frankenmuth, 2 hours away from where we lived. We were mislead by the police and scammed by this reprehensible business, and it's owner treated us very disrespectfully.Me and my girlfriend got in an accident when we drove up here recently. It was snowing outside, the roads slippery, and we hit a pole. I have never dealt with an accident on my own before, let alone one two hours away from my home. The car could not be driven, so we had to figure out what to do. It was cold and snowing outside. When a police officer arrived, he seemed helpful and caring. But what he was actually doing was misleading us. He recommended this establishment and offered to give us a ride to a nearby hotel where it was warm so we could figure out what to do. I told him I have AAA insurance and was going to call them. He offered to get the car towed to this shop, as it was "just down the street."I was naive and trusted him, and he handed me a business card for the shop and that card said AAA on it. Good, I thought, this will work with our insurance. When he dropped us off, he said "oh yeah, probably should give me your keys too," as if this was standard procedure. Once again, I have never done this before, so I foolishly gave him my keys. What I did not know is I was just consenting to have my car impounded at the shop. Reinert & Bender would then charge me $300 for the service of towing my car a few blocks down the street, and would accept CASH PAYMENT IN PERSON ONLY.When my insurance, AAA, contacted them to attempt to get them to release the car, they REFUSED. They were powerless to do anything about it because I did not personally call in the tow, the police did. To make matters worse, my insurance failed to contact me and tell me this was happening. And admittedly, in my lack of experience in dealing with this I did not call the auto shop and ask them what was up. It had been suggested to me by this police officer that the car would be waiting there for me when I called in a tow truck through my insurance. But when the tow arrived to take both my car and us back to a shop near my house in Woodhaven, we discovered that the car was locked up. This was at 10pm, the bad weather condition being part of the reason why it took so long. The owner demanded the only way he would release the car was if we paid him $300 IN CASH IMMEDIATELY. He refused to accept a debit card, and refused to wait for me to find an ATM to withdraw the money. I was shocked and confused. Why won't he accept my insurance or a card?He was condescending and even mocking in his attitude towards us. The police arrived to this scene and were not helpful at all, instead telling me "that's just the way it is."The tow truck was not able to take us home either, because the car could not be retried and thus he would not be paid. So we were left stranded in Frankenmuth. This was at 11pm. Thank God her dad was available to come and get us.When we got home and called Reinert & Bender the next day, the owner still DEMANDED that we pay $300 in cash on Monday. No exceptions or cooperation. We were left with no other option than to drive over 100 miles to get up there Monday morning to release the car.I deeply resent how this business treated us. I think their relationship with the police is slimy, because it's obvious this police officer was just getting some easy business for this auto shop by taking advantage of naive tourists. I will be informing everyone I know of this corrupt practice and have filed a complaint with AAA. I learned my lesson.

Had a flat tire and they came out to put spare on, but Dennis didn t know to remove the spacer. Had to call another towing service and they were able to put the spare on in under 3 minutes. Call someone else if you need tire services.
