Nelsons did an absolutely outstanding job with my vehicle after I had damage from a deer. The entire process was smooth from start to finish. The customer service was simply above & beyond and the people who worked behind the scenes on the necessary repairs made my truck look like brand new. I went in for an oil change and a tire rotation. I sat in their waiting room for a hour and then didn t even reverse fully out of my parking spot before I had to go back in. My front passenger side tire was making a loud noise. Turns out they didn t tighten the lug nuts on TWO of the tires before handing me the keys. They chalked it up to their mechanic having too many concussions ? Thankfully everything is tightened and (hopefully) on right but the lack of attention to detail and irresponsibility of what I experienced is not sitting right with me.There is also a missing lug nut on one of the tires that wasn t properly put on, he says it was like that and I cannot be 100% sure that it wasn t.

They are very patient with their customers and allow them time to ask their questions. We recently had hail damage done to our vehicle and Debbie is handling everything so professionally and is making sure that the customers get the best care possible

I will be using Nelson s for any auto body repairs and nobody else after my initial business I did with them when I hit a deer with my truck. They handled all of the correspondence with my insurance company which took a lot of stress off my shoulders since smashing my truck was stressful enough. They were so friendly on the phone and in person and always answered the phone and if they couldn t they called me RIGHT back. I got updates on my truck as to when it would be done. It was the smoothest experience I ve had when dealing with mechanic or auto body shops. And when I got my truck back I was 100% happy with the work. It was perfect. Our adventure began with a deer hitting our truck and causing a crazy amount of damage.Starting with the first phone call that was answered by Tammy ( who made me feel like family) then dropping the car off with Debbie who explained in detail what I could expect. As well as Jeremy who went out of his way to get our car rental squared away for us at drop off so there was no hassle. Then, as if I should expect anything less than perfection the truck looks better than new. It looked as good as the day we drove it off the lot. We will always come to Nelson s for any auto body repairs and this experience has made me interested in all the other services they provide. I can t recommend them enough.Thanks again! I don t know all the names of the people who worked on the truck in the body shop but a big thank you to you too!! ~Elle

My wife, myself, and my 5 yo son and 5 mo daughter were an hour from home and our van blew a break line. I called about 6 places before Nelson's. With it being a Monday, most places were packed wouldn't help. Jeff said to bring it in and he'd check it out. A couple hours later, the van was fixed and we were heading home. I felt the price was manageable but mostly thankful they helped us out in a jam. Mainly because we still had our 5 other kids at home. Many thanks and I'd recommend them to anyone in the area.

Awesome place! Got us right in, very nice and helpful. We are new to the area and didn't know who to trust. Tried to go to a big box highly recommenced shop and got nothing but a month of no returned phone calls and a wait of another 3 weeks after the initial month wait. Called Nelson on a Thursday afternoon, he had parts by Friday. (the big shop said it would take over a month to get parts.) My car is like new, you can't even tell it was in an accident. We will be lifetime customers of Nelson. They treated us like family the first call/visit. So thankful we found such a great garage for all our vehicle needs.

My wife got hit in the Meijer s parking lot (guy left a note) not knowing if the guy was going to pay we had our local repair shop (Nelson s)estimate it. Mean while the gentleman turned it into his insurance (they estimated $58.22higher) we turned in our car to Nelson s they repaired it, we turned the original estimate with the car. When they called and said it was done it was higher then what they originally estimated. My wife asked why and they lied to us and said because it had parking sensor. We picked it up and the paid the higher amount. I wasn t happy about them not honoring the original estimate so I called she tried to lie to me but I had both estimates in front of me. Then she said that I wrote the insurance estimate on the back of the original so I must of wanted pay more. After many minutes of arguing she agreed to reimburse me the $58 dollars back. I told her to do what she thought was right no reimbursement. It s not about the money it s about doing business the right way and I feel they don t. So I will never use them again!!Service: Body & Trim

They do good work but not terribly professional.. I had an appointment at 2, got their at 145 and was told he'd just left for lunch and that he wouldn't be back until 3-330. They worked quickly once they got started and it looks great!

Brought a vehicle in after a deer hit and they talked me through the entire process of getting it repaired. They cared about how I was doing after the accident and gave us a few pointers to save money when the vehicle was declared totalled. They were very accommodating and provided several contacts to help us with replacement and insurance.

My husband is the toughest critic & he is so pleased with the professionalism & mannerisms of Nelsons. The work and love they put into his car after I.. A dear hit me.. The car is beautiful.. The daily phone calls keeping him informed on what was going on was much appreciated. They even fixed what the mice had destroy and that issue was unknown to us.. If you live in the country this can be a serious problem. Thank you Jeremy from collison & repair.. Went above and beyond all expectations.. Thank you.. Called in looking for a new extended cab window for my truck. Talked to Jeremy, couldn t have been more helpful and polite. Instead of just taking my money for a new window, he Informed me it would be cheaper to call their supplier instead and gave me the number. So I didn t actually do business with them but grateful for saved money. Hopefully I won t need collision repair, but if I do, I m going here

Warning, if you are going to pay out of pocket do not take it to Nelsons Collision. Insurance claims come first meaning your vehicle will get kicked to the back of the line and keep getting kicked too the back of the line if insurance claims are coming in. Insurance cash is king and out of pocket cash is monopoly money to them. I heard they do good work but I wouldn't know. I took my business elsewhere

I was in the middle of a very bad week and my car decided to not start when I needed to go back to the office for the first time since March. They were able to get me in and a new battery installed in a couple of hours. First good thing to happen all week.Service: BatteryService: Battery

I hit a deer going 55mph and the front end was damaged! They handled everything with my insurance and got my car back to perfect condition! Even detailed the inside! Very happy customer!

Nelson's has helped me a couple times and their work is outstanding and fast! They have loaner cars and really have bent over backwards to make my life easier! I also found out they have a full mechanical department too! Thank you Nelson's Collision!

Stopped in for an estimate with $1500 cash in my wallet, in hopes to get the little dings and scratches out of my vehicle for the new year. When I walked in, the sales person, Scott, was short and condescending from the start. He didn't even want to go outside to look/give me an estimate, claiming I could get that through my insurance agency, and tried to say goodbye!!!I then explained that I wanted to do this myself, get the work done now and get an estimate anyways. He huffed and came outside, walked around the vehicle, told me it would be $900 off the top of his head for 3 dings and a scratch, and he would be outsourcing half the work anyways. Doesn't sound too competent to me if they have to farm half the work out.Throughout this whole process, he kept trying to convince me that I should wait until the spring and not get anything done now. He repeated this comment 4 times, although I was quite insistent I wanted to do it now and had the funds to do so.OVERALL: The only thing Nelson's was good at was pushing a new customer AWAY. Even with cash in hand, it was clear they don't WANT new business, and would rather presumptuously dictate what I choose to do with my car and when. Furthermore, the service person was rude, and wore so much cologne it reeked up my car just from having the window open and him next to it. How Unprofessional.

I highly recommend Nelson s.Friendly staff, willing to work with you about appointment scheduling.Very affordable and professional.Very pleased with the service and replacement of my vehicle s window.Again HIGHLY RECOMMEND.Thanks again guys!

I live all the way in South Lyon and drive here because I never have had a problem . Fixed everytime . Great mechanics and usually even have a free loaner car while yours is in the shop. Never any upsales just always fixes what is broken and has the best deals I have found. Jeff is the man !

Absolute worst body shop I've ever been too. I took my mustang there my rear quarter panel was dented and my decklid needed to be fixed. When i went rhere to pick up my car my car was absolutely filthy inside and out and inch of dirt and grime on the outside as well as the inside. So i took it to the carwash and afterwards my backseat floorboard has a massive puddle of water due to the rear quarter window they had to remove and reinstall i took it back there and they attempted to fix it but it still leaks just not as bad. And my decklid a light comes on in the dash all the time saying the trunk is open because after they fixed it they didnt line everything up properly and they mismatched the stripes on my decklid and after 6 months went by the stripes were flaking...I've just dealt with all the problems its not worth my time going back to that horrible body shop. I'll stick to joes body shop in perry.

Nelson's not only did a great job on the bumper repair that I brought my vehicle in for, they also buffed out scratches on the sides of my van. Free of charge. Great service!
