Very convenient.They re open on Saturday.They will put your snow tires on and store your summer tires for you.Shop local.

Brad and Haley were honest in their advice about what's needed to fix my car. Brad got the job done quickly and charged a reasonable amount. I'd recommend my family and friends to go to Shelton.

Called twice for a quote. The first time there was a woman that was extremely rude. I waited to call back and got a male staff. He was also extremely rude. I will pay double at the dealership before I pay someone who has no customer service etiquette. I had him on speaker and everyone around said how rude he was on the call. If you hate your job that deals with the public, find another business. Seeing all the comments about professionalism is true. The replies about we have changed since 2017 is a lie. Everyone question asked was a condescending remark like And from both employees. My $2000 will be spent at the dealership. If they knew how to talk to potential customers they would have more business.

Good except gave me back bald tire I changed out on spare rim that was blank when I bought 2 new tires. Told them I wanted to keep the other tire but whatever. Good prices on stuff. Good quick work

I was veery please with the maintenance done on my car. It didn't take long. Brad was a very nice gentleman. I recommend those guys to anyone that wants top notch maintenance on their vehicle.

I've had to visit Shelton Tire, 3 times in the past year, and each time, they have been great. My wait time was minimal and my tires were taken care of. The staff is always polite. Thank you.

Very courteous, I needed to get back to work, so my vehicle was dropped off to me, with no extra charge when the service was completed. I was very satisfied and would gladly recommend Shelton to others.

My Buick Encore was throwing a P0420 code. I looked it up & it could have been O2 sensores (either before or after the catylic converter, or a catylic converter, or all three). Well... it was none of these things. Sheldon Automotive didn't just plug in a diagnostic tester (like I did) & tell me this diagnosis. Their testing showed it was actually a failing Eco Turbo. They explained everything to me & answered all of my questions. They're very knowledgeable & took great care of me. Thank You Gentlemen!

I guess the dude that answered the phone got a little girly attitude because I didn't know my tire size and then when he found out he told me $70, SEVENTY DOLLARS FOR A USED TIRE THAT I NORMALLY PAY AROUND $50 FOR IS CRAZY

Poor customer service this man decided to put a new tire on my car without asking me if I wanted a new or used tire on my vehicle. The fact that I NEED a tire asap I paid for it. He states I should have said something. No, you should have asked me if I wanted a new tire because you don t have any used tires. Again, because I needed the tire I had to get it or take the risk. I don t appreciate not being informed and being allowed to make my own decision for my vehicle. I will never utilize this business again. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE OVERALL.-Dominique Strong

I ve been coming to Shelton Automotive since before I could drive, my grandfather always brought his cars to Mr. Myron. I live in Ohio now and ran into car trouble in Flint and had it towed to Shelton Automotive, and it s great to see Brad carrying on his fathers tradition of honest quality work.Don t argue about price either, because you get what you pay for.

They do good work here, but I would only recommend bringing in a domestic vehicle. Throwout bearing went bad in my Cobalt SS so I had them replace the clutch and flywheel. Let me supply my own parts and had an acceptable price. Manager gave me a hard time about an intermittent starting problem that I didn't have money to fix at the time. Could definitely be more friendly.Also brought in a Mitsubishi Eclipse for inspection that they had a heavy bias against and said was garbage - car lasted me for years without any issues. Would give 3.5 overall. Probably one of the better places in the area. Former KU student.

They are very reliable but the problem is that they always don t care about urgency! You need an appointment even if that s a small thing to do which maybe would take 5 minutes for them to fix. But if you re there with an appointment, they solve your issue with care. The amount they charge was fair enough to me compared to others and they don t make you wait for long. If it takes long, they will let you know beforehand when they can get it fixed so that you don t have to wait unnecessarily. The guy at the front desk might not seem friendly to you sometimes but that was okay for me considering their services and the behaviour of the mechanics. They fixed my car with great care and I would recommend them.

Shelton Tire & Service is one of the best places to take your vehicle. The customer service & work is always great. They gave me a discount for being a veteran. I have recommended them to people & will continue to do the same. They have served the Flint & Genesee County area for decades with the same level of service. GREAT!

Back in the area a little over 90 days and wouldn't you know it! A flat tire, broken studs and an empty air conditioner. But thanks to Shelton Tire & Service, I was towed repaired and back on the road! Oh yeah, with a veteran discount! No hassle service is what I always look for.Peace!
