Had an oil change on my truck Monday. The service writer was kind and had a great attitude. He was light hearted and made for exceptional experience.

Very disappointed I have been using them for some time but the last few times have been nothing short of a disaster. I booked an oil change back in October when I came in they told me they did not have my appointment so I showed them the confirmation email they squeezed me in but I had to wait for a hour and a half. Then a couple weeks ago I made an appointment and put in the appointment details what all was going on with my car. When I got there again I was met with you don't have an appointment. Then said I do but they couldn't fix my car that day because online doesn't book correctly and they can't see what all needs to be done which I find intresting considering it asked me to put in the description of what is going on with it and to call next time to book but they would look at it at least. Mechanic and front end guy come out tell me what's wrong mechanic said they could have it done on that Monday I told them I had to work on Tuesday and the mechanic said it should be fine so I book for first thing in the morning. Get there at 9am and am told right out the gate the car won't be done that day they got behind over the weekend and it won't be done. No explanation no sorry no nothing other than his mechanic that is assigned to my car has a truck in before me. So had to leave again with my car still broke and get my car fixed else where. 3 times In a row something has been an issue. I unfortunately will no longer be returning here and will find somewhere else to get my oil changed and my car worked on

Do Not Use This Location! They are huge Scammers. I took my vehicle in for break pads n a minor leak. When the returned my vehicle the leak was worst and alerts started appearing on my dashboard that were never there. When I took it back it took them 8 hrs to figure out what they did wrong. They then wanted me to pay $1500 more dollars for repairs they caused. Did I mention my car was now smoking too which ot has never done. Needless to say i took my vehicle elsewhere. They will try to bleed u dry!

I had an oil pan that was rusted and leaking oil had to be replaced. I knew it would be a while due to all the stuff that you have to remove in order to get to it. Planed on staying until done. But it was truly pleasant and enjoyed talking with staff and customers, had some great laughs. I must tell you the bathroom was clean and stocked. They allowed me to get pop from pop machine, but they did advise that some of the selections would be empty, but the Mt Dew and A&W were winners. Coffee was free and was good and strong, not like some places where coffee is more water than coffee. The technician was great advising me on some of the items due to rust might have to be replaced. All in all was a great experience and will be coming back.

I took my vehicle in for service and was treated very nicely and professionally. Kyle was very nice and kept me up to date on everything. I love that they take pictures so I could see the problem and explain it to me. Would recommend them to others. Thank you for your help.

Had a timing chain installed in January of 23. It busted in December of 23 after 4000 miles. Took it to them on a trailer. They replaced the timing chain again and then told me the engine was done and needed a full rebuild or replacement. Still charge me $1200 for the repair. They didn't even open it up before replacing it. Engine repair 101 when a timing chain breaks need to check if damage was done to the valves or other engine components. I would have gladly paid for them to actually diagnose the whole issue and pay that fee for there labor. These guys have no clue of how to do things. They just follow an instruction sheet for the task at hand. another customer was in the waiting room with a similar issue of driving a car in and had to have it towed out. One of there techs also back a customer car into the building and tore the mirror off while we were there. Will never go to them for anything again and will spread the word to everyone I talk too about car repair.

Replaced one front strut & car pulling to right. Took Acadia here to be aligned. Said car needed a new strut on the other side to be aligned properly. Nothing wrong w/other strut so declined since they said alignment could be done without warranty . Got car back, no before and after measurement sheets given, (later said they don t do that ), car is covered in a fine dust from dirt roads and there are NO marks on tie rod nuts or tie rods , camber or anywhere on the car to indicate an alignment was even done, car was all untouched underneath. Had another certified mechanic look at car, they agreed alignment was not done . Midas Wouldn t even tell us what kind of alignment machine they used (we saw a 4 post & they ALWAYS do printouts). They even tried to get me out w/o a receipt. Lied about a signature requirement for a text authorization screen & said system was glitching. Do NOT take your car here. Total rip off they didn t do the alignment and said it was still pulling because we wouldn t go with their ridiculous quote to replace a strut that isn t bad. Other mechanic said that It s only RECOMMENDED to replace both struts it s not necessary and certainly shouldn t affect the alignment. Which doesn t matter because they didn t do it and charged me $100, wasted my time, and we will be fighting the charge

So I don't normally right reviews on places but I feel I nead to on this. So I took my truck to have it worked on thay did there inspection and told me my upper control arms were getting bad so I had them replace them.ok I know thay got them from oreillys and I kniw the price there for them is 149.99 each thay charged me119.00 more for each one and I understand it's a business and there is going to be a up charge but really not 30 or 40 bucks more but 119 each and then thay told me thay get 145 a hour for labor thay had my truck 3 hours and charged me 542.49 so at 145 x3 comes out to 435 so thay charged me 112 more than what thay charge.do I think thay do a good job yes do I think thay are friendly yes do I think thay nead to do a little better on there up charging yes because if thay think I will ever be dumb enough to let them screw me again thay are roung

Took my vehicle in today due to bearings starting to go out on the altenator, for them to tell me it's the belt causing the issue. They tell me they've check the charging system there's nothing wrong with the altenator. I don't know who's the bigger idiot the mechanic or the GM, because I know for a fact it's the alternator getting ready to go out, even with the lifetime warranty they refused to change the part. Definitely wouldn't recommend this location for any types of services.

I had a leak on a new tire that was installed by the dealership. The guys down at Midas got me in and found what the problem was. They fixed it, and kept it as a free tire repair even though it wasn t technically a damaged tire. Prompt, professional and completely transparent. My tire guys from now on.

This place is a SCAM! I brought my vehicle in for a shake while accelerating. They looked it over and after a couple hours, I recieved a call that it was going to cost $4300 to replace both control arms and the drive shaft. I picked it up declining repairs because it did not seem right. I looked at the estimate and they were charging over 3x the price for parts. I understand markup, but 3x?! Also to have both issues happen so suddenly, and not a progession of an issue didnt seem right. I took my car to 2 other mechanics who both said there was absolutely nothing wrong with either control arm or drive shaft. It needed a new coil pack and plug for a misfire on cylinder 5. So my question, if I would have had midas do the repairs, would they have replaced what they said was wrong and charged me the $4300 and I left and it still having the same issue? Or would they have just replaced the coil pack and spark plug and still charged me $4300. I had it fixed by an honest mechanic for $100. This place will take your money and not even fix the issue. They seen me walk in, a female, 8 months pregnant, and probably thought they hit the jackpot. I would not recommend this place to anyone, absolute crooks!

Great service!Went in for a tire rotation. They took and look and told me I didn t need one yet then checked the balance. Pulled out my card to pay and they said it was free because they didn t need to rotate.

God I must say I love midas on linden road those guys has excellent customer service skills and really really care about the customers they make sure they try to get the job done rite and get you on your way I recommend anyone to bring your vehicles here at Midas on Linden road flint. I thank those guys lots five star for sure!!!!!

We were on our way to a funeral, and I was wearing a suit. I was hoping they would quickly wire up my exhaust that came apart on the freeway and send us on our way. Nope! Couldn't even be bothered to look under the car. Nice helping a guy out in a desperate situation.Thanks Midas

Just a few hours ago, I was on I-75 on my way down to Detroit to watch my first Red Wings game. I had a pit stop on my way, and noticed that my car was smoking under the hood, so of course I freaked. I called a different Midas in the area and we're unable to fit me in, but he referred me to this Midas location and they got me in within 25 mins (I know that can't happen every time, I was fortunate)After a diagnosis, I found out the issue, a little bit of water got under the hood, (it was rainy today) causing the steam, (I thought it was overheating, and if you own a 2015 Chevy Trax, you also know there is NOT a temp gauge on the vehicle lol) So needless to say, I was able to make it to the Red Wings game because of the awesome guys at Midas. I'd go there again if I was in a pinch 30 miles from home.

While installing tires they damaged all 4 wheels. They attempted to hire a company to refinish the wheels, but that company refused because the damage was so bad. They agreed to replace the wheels, but after 3 months of regular communication I still have no remedy.I even found the replacements and agreed to settle for used instead of new.

Check engine light was on. Midas replaced the vapor vent and purge solenoids. Check engine light came on a week later. Midas replaced the gas cap. Check engine light came on a week later. Went somewhere else and they did a diagnostic test. Evap system leak detected. Someone at Midas had replaced evap vent solenoid and did not route pipe correctly and was leaking where plastic pipe connected to hose going to top of fuel tank.He rerouted pipe and installed a hose clamp, which fixed the problem. I had to pay $150 for Midas' mistake. Midas was told about their mistake and did nothing to compensate me. Thanks for the good customer service Midas.

Me and my mom drop car had a inspection period from them before bringing car back we have work done come back to pick up antifreeze shooting every where from the engine head they tell us that the machine shop put the screw in wrong so it was there fault but the car engine was rebuild 2 months before taking to Midas and it never leak they just inspected the car no leaks we r un happy still paid them for what they broke they told us she needed a whole engine head from there mistake didn t offer no discount to the damage that was done it un fair to take people money and tell them sorry we tryed to fix it but blames everyone else for the problem we will not be going back for anything else

I went to 4 tire places trying to see what was up with my tire. After hours of waiting at all places, I was told twice that they couldn't help unless I bought 4 brand new tires, the the 2 told me the tire was non repairable. This place not only fixed it, put quite me for 4 new tires, checked my alignment... for free... in and out in under an hour. I will 100% return, and send everyone I meet here for car needs
