I like these guys. Nice clean shop and they stay very busy. We've been taking our cars there for many years. I trust them. What more could you ask for from a local mechanic?

This place almost killed me.I took my car in because there was a clunking noise when I turned or hit a bump. It was also getting more difficult to turn. They stated they couldn't duplicate the noise and the only thing that needed replacement was some control arm bearings. So I took there word and had those replaced. Picked up my car Friday at 4pm and could still hear the clunk and feel the difficulty in the steering. I planned to take it back to them Tuesday morning and only drive minimally until then. On Monday my passenger side ball joint broke on me while driving. Luckily I was on a fairly empty road going a slow speed and was able to skid to a stop. Had it taken to an actual garage where they care and was informed that that joint was in such terrible shape that it simply wouldn't have been possible for them to not see it or notice it. Also if I had been on a busier road I would have most likely caused an accident and if I was on an express way it could've been really bad.TLDR..I took it to them for a clunking noise. They were able to see the issue and chose to ignore it, knowing it could have fatal consequences. Lied and said it was nothing. Ball joint broke three days later. Luckily I was ok.

Wish these guys had told me they don't work on my type of car before they charged me to look at it. It cost me $110 to find out what I already knew was wrong with my car. After a week of waiting to hear back and getting an "oops thought we called you" when I called them, I'm frustrated and no closer to having it fixed.Completely unprofessional and a waste of my time and money

I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS COMPANY. They fixed my timing chain last September, a $1500.00 repair that has a 12 month warranty. THEY REFUSED TO FIX IT AGAIN after it broke againnnn (they said because my specific vehicle has oil problems they wouldn t honor it)I thought being a smaller mom and pop place they d be more trustworthy but I was so wrong!!- Jasmine Hoganson

They were able to schedule a next day appointment for the simple maintenance I needed. I was able to wait there, as it took less than an hour for my vehicle to be done! Very fairly priced compared to others in the area as well

DO NOT GO TO KEARSLEY AUTO FOR REPAIRS!!I am not one to publicly bash businesses as I am truthfully such an understanding and laid back individual but I truly feel I was taken advantage of and it is not sitting right by me especially because I chose to use this business because it was a locally owned place.Most of you that know me know that I hate confrontation and will do everything to avoid it however I don t want someone else to get absolutely ripped off.So September of 2022 my timing chain needed to be replaced and it cost $1500.00 - I took a loan out through my bank to pay this off and my last payment will be next month.My timing Chain has gone out again, the first week of August I called the shop and asked them how long they warranty their repairs and I was told 12 months and that I could bring it in to be evaluated.They had my car for over a week to tell me it was my fuel pump. And that it was going to cost me upwards of $800 to replace it.I told them to just take care of it they call me the same day and said they don t think the fuel pump will fix it completely as it might actually be the timing chain (like I stated) - I said okay can t you fix it then since it s warranted?The technician said well because the equinoxes have oil problems it will most likely be denied So I took my car to a certified master mechanic who did my fuel pump and the part was only $160!! You take the cover of my engine off and the fuel pump is right there - I was told they basically tried to rip me off to charge me $800 for a 10minute job is insane.And then it was confirmed by that mechanic that it is 100% my timing chain and that they should cover it since it hasn t been a year yet.I called Kearlsey Auto and spoke to the owner Steve Fuhr about honoring the warranty for the work done and he is absolutely refusing to even send it in to be done. He is telling me if I want him to send it in to get approved I have to pay the invoice fee and then told me it s going to get denied regardless!!I understand these shops have to make money and I understand that it s a bigger job but do not put something under warranty if you can t honor it.I m feeling absolutely defeated right now.* OH AND MIND YOU they knew my car had a problem with burning oil because when they fixed it last September they and I quote said these vehicles are know for burning oil you ll just unfortunately have to get more oil changes than normal and they still chose to warranty it*

These Fellas... do great work. I always go here. Reasonably-priced, fast and thorough ! I just had my brakes and hub and some rotors done.. and they had it fixed before I could say Fast Actin Tanactin!

This time at Kearsley Auto I had my front wheel bearings replaced. I have went to K.A. Now for about 10 years. I have never had anything less than perfect service. Tony handled my car this time and he was 100% transparent as to what needed to be done and the approximate time frame. I will continue being a happy customer of theirs in the future.

I just want to say as a single mother who doesn t ever have a lot of time to spare that they were beyond helpful, professional, and got the job done. They managed to get me in the same day and repair my jumped timing chain within 24 hours! I am so happy and thankful they were able to provide me fast and courtesy work on such a short notice I really do not know what I would have done without them!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

I scheduled an appointment for an oil change within 2 days. They started my work at the scheduled time. I was out of the business in 20 minutes. Worker drove the car up to the office and had it warming up for me. Appreciated that as it was cold that day. I would recommend this facility.

I usually dread having my vehicle worked on. Getting gouged. Lied to. Treated like I don't know anything about vehicles. I don't dread that going to Kearsley. These are honest, hard working, knowledgeable individuals that treat you with respect and are as honest as they come with explanations and prices. I thoroughly recommend them for any automobile needs. And every person in the lobby with me had the same things to say about them. Thank you guys for all your help this winter.

As a woman that knows very little about cars I ve always been afraid of getting ripped off when I take my car in. I ve been going to Kearsley Auto for 3 years and have worked with all the mechanics and they ve all been great; patient, friendly, not creepy, and they work with you. I ve had many different issues fixed on my cars every single time my bill was than the cost that I would look up online for that particular service. One time a mechanic called around for 2 hours to try and get a used part just to save me money. They also have monthly coupons that come out in the mail.

Every time I go there, the guys are friendly and professional. They NEVER take advantage of me by overcharging or pretending there is more wrong than there really is. I trust them and I think a lot of customers do. They stand behind their work too. They're the only place I take my car to in Flint. I need to buy those guys some donuts and I will tomorrow.

So far so goodUpdate these guys are awesome they did a great job. If you ask my wife I'm a hard guy to please qith saying that all I can say is I'm beyond satisfied with there work. I do a lot of the repairs on my vehicles but after working the Jeremy at Keasler Auto I might just have let them do the stuff I would normally do. Took three days to replace the wires in my engine. Same stalling problem I had before started happening a week later and they refused to warranty their work. This was my go to place but I can't afford to pay for their mistakes.

They do oil changes at a good price. I've had my car fixed here and it's older. Had good service and the seemed to have fixed the problems.

Took my car there 2 times for an oil change. The first time as soon as I left the rear shock compressor was broken and they said it wasn't their fault. Had to have new air shocks put on at my expense. The second time was a couple days ago, the kid left the radiator cap off. Motor got hot this mornin and wouldn't blow heat into car. Radiator and reservoir was empty. I will never go back!!!!!

They are not professional they present them as that ..but not .had a bad experience with them with my cars ...that's all I'm gone say .I'll never deal with them again not what they say they are gd reviews are from past customers older customers..not trusting.this not made up ..true story .

I had an appointment for a front end alignment and was in and out in about 45 minutes. Plus, the fee was very reasonable! They have my recommendation!

I took my Mustang in for a clunking in the front end. I was told it was all set. (Cost me 800 bucks). Drove it home, still clunking. Took it back in waited all day for them to just look at it, and was told they hear too but cant find it!!! Won't be back!!! They suck!!!

Coolant elbows were leaking. Took it in, tried pushing more work on me that wasn t needed. Three days later the engine blew due to fluid in the engine with no coolant in the car. They charged me coolant, so where did it go? Cheap, but obviously cheap means blown engine.
