My experience with Flint Auto Recycling was extremely disappointing. After driving for over two hours to reach their location, I was informed that they did not have the door available for pickup. What's most frustrating is that they could have communicated this basic information over the phone, saving me the wasted time and fuel. Clearly, their lack of communication and poor management make it impossible to trust them for any future services.

Always great service from Tom. I was in a rush a while back and sent a driver 71 miles to a competitors yard. My guy returned with a beat to death pile of junk that we could not use . I had to wait for this yard to remove one and drive back down. Part was perfect and waiting. I will never call the other guy again ( as 2 workers ignore me while smoking next to their " no smoking" sign ) . Don't waste your time, just call these guys and not the tachometer store! See, I was nicer than the way they treated me.

Owner is very rude and complains if you make to many trips... I thought they would be happy with more I guess not?!? Second time there very arrogant and disrespectful

The employees were friendly and helpful. They even tried to pull the part we needed while we waited but the car wasn't in the garage. When we went back to pick it up they even loaded it up for me. (it was a gas tank so I was really thankful)

Told me they had the part then after I sat up here waiting thirty minutes for them to find it was told they don t have it. So idk how u can double check before u get there so good luck

They over priced you can buy parts brand new cheaper they charged me $159 for a mirror for a 2018 Malibu then I look online they brand new $85 and they say no cash back refund and I never used the part not to mention he had a attitude

The guy who does the recycling is rude and doesn't like to work he is verbally abusive to females children I think he's on the verge of dementia

Very polite and helpful staff. I came in looking for a rear seat for my 2010 Silverado 2500 that came to me with a drawer system in place of the rear seat. They had several according to a quick inventory search. A worker printed a list out and had another take me out to show me them. The first one was in a truck that they had already brought up to pull something else from and was in very nice shape so I decided to get that one as it was good without even checking out the others. Then they pulled the seat after I paid and had it ready for me to pull around back and pick up very quickly. I think the whole process took less than fifteen mimutes. My experience here was excellent and I will be highly recommending them to anybody I know looking for good used vehicle parts at fair prices with great service.

These guys are great! Anywhere else I would've paid double and had to wait for a week. They had my part pulled in 3 hours!! Very friendly and helpful staff!

A hidden gem in Flint. The staff are very knowledgeable and eager to help. I was surprised to see them be so patient and never act condescendingly. I felt comfortable with their input, suggestions and advice and appreciated the assistance when it came time to install.

This place is a joke, went to order a door you have to pay for it first fair enough right? Wrong! The man on the phone told me I'd have to drive there to pay for it I asked if I could pay over the phone and no can do. to drive to my shop to drive back the next day taking 200 miles and essentially wasting a day. They do not know how to run a business and I only hope this place is shut down soon so someone else can buy it and make a legitimate business.

Presentable clean, tidy and organized office, organized neat and clean yard. Polite sociable employees. A hidden gem in Flint.Office wasn't certain if the part i was after was in the yard or not but took the time to take me out to look, confirm and verify condition of the part with me before pulling.The part i was after was pulled within 10 minutes and i was out the door on my way.

If we could give it a negitive 5 star we would. The owner is a complete and utter dick. This place is worthless. The workers are a**holes and he has no respect for his customers. My hubby wanted to beat him bloody. But he wont come out from behind his glass. All he knows how to do is run his mouth. Power hungry S.O.B.

The owner of this business is the most obnoxious and rude person I have ever met in my life. I just wanted to buy a 17 inch rim and I clearly said 17 twice and he gives me a 15 inch rim and decided to argue with me saying I said 15..then to top it off he has sighn clearly posted saying he accepts visa and bitched because I was using it....never go there

If I could give 0 stars I would. The old man behind the has the worst customer service skills ever. Told me it was my fault they gave me the wrong part. Then wouldn't even refund the wrong part. So essentially he robbed me and I'm stuck with a useless part.

I'm not sure what people are complaining about F.A.R. is one of the cleanest and most organized recycling yards in Mid Michigan.. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly.This is the type of place i would send my mother or sister to and not worry about them getting taken for a ride .This is all not to mention that the owner is an upstanding guy and goes way out of his way to run a well established and organized business.When i need quality used parts i always think F.A.R. first .... All the rest are just a CUT below and charge a higher RATE.Keep up the great work FAR you guys Rock.

Very honest people who have went out of there way to help me get the most out of my scrap. Good atmosphere. I will definitely be going to both there scrap yard and part store up front for many more times to come.

Top customer service, I drove 4 1/2 hours from Ohio to pick up a few things and they went out of their way so that I could bring home a couple more items that I had never ordered . they told me it would be roughly an hour wait it was less than 30 minutes, keep up the good work, hope to see you again soon
