Visited two weeks ago and spent $70 on wiper blades. Had the worker install them. While driving in the rain today, I watched the driver's side wiper fly off into oncoming traffic. Had to watch while it was ran over. Ended up going somewhere else to have another set installed. This time properly.

As one can imagine, on a Saturday evening the last thing a family would like to be doing is working on the brakes and have issues leading to needing parts. We called multiple stores and were either put on hold for several minutes, parts not being available, and not the best customer service. So, when I called Advanced Auto and Jeff answered he not only was helpful in confirming the part was in, but when we walked in he had the part set aside for us so it was a quick stop. I totally recommend the Flint Advanced Auto parts for all of your auto needs. We will definitely be coming back in the future! Thank you Advanced Auto Parts but more specifically Jeff, for your outstanding Customer service.

The staff here are beyond amazing. I always come here for this reason. Today proved to be nothing short of them exceeding all my expectations as I went in with my daughter after my battery light went on as we were about to travel. Jim was a superhero and worked in the cold to test and replace my battery. Truly amazing and I am just overwhelmed with the kindness and help of the staff and the prices are great as well.Truly if you have car needs and want amazing customer service at great prices go here. They never fail to be amazing !!

I bought wiper blades the salesperson recommended and 2 months later one broke I took it back to them. I couldn't find my receipt so I thought it was going to be an issue. However, they simply looked up my info and swapped out my wiper blade no questions asked. I strongly recommend using them for all my automotive needs

While returning a product for a return I went to an advance store in which they told me that they would not do my return. I called the advance on Bristol rd store#6851 and spoke with Jeff. Jeff immediately without hesitation told me to come to his store and he would take care of it. Within 15 seconds of being in his store I had received my refund. He was very professional and because of the way he treated me with respect and professionalism I will be going to see Jeff anytime I need something for my vehicles.

I went into the store on Bristol rd in Flint and 2 people standing at the register and 1 other on the phone. I was told to go to the guy on the phone because she wasn't on register. Well he was busy on the phone and the other two were gossiping about someone. I always wondered why this place was empty when I went in. I said whatever and went across the street. I will never go there again. Lost a customer for life.

I own a state license repair facility and was notified if I don't spend a minimum of $2500 a month I'm treated the same as a walk in customer of the street . I can't even get them to match other places cheaper prices.

Was just serviced by a gentleman who s name I didn t catch.My window wipers broke off while it was pouring down and he installed the wipers for me once I purchased them, and even helped me figure out why the left one slipped in the first place.Not only was he kind and courteous, but informative and gave me the impression that he truly cared about his work.I wish they took tips. Highly recommend this location.

I'm always happy with these guys. They need to be tighter on tolerance control with their smaller sized individually sold screw drivers. One size is not the exact fit as another one of the same exact part number. If you need something to work with small screws using a #1 or smaller driver, take the screw you need it to fit with you to check for fit. FYI: the other parts stores have the same problem.

Place to go if you want car parts in the area. Someone had stole a few fuses out of a box that I purchased. Brought it right back in and they took me at my word (every other box had at least 2 of each kind of fuse). They simply gave me a different box for free. It's the little things in business like this that make repeat customers. I have always found the employees to be helpful as well.

I went in to return some brake pads and I had the receipt. The girl behind the counter told me she was going to put my money on a gift card for in store use. I had proof of purchase and used my debit card for the transaction. I asked why I couldn't get cash? Then another cashier said she could if she wanted to. She was hesitant and then told me it was past 45 day's and she couldn't give me anything at all. No where on the receipt does it say anything about returning an item within any time allotment. It was 2 day's over and I was quarantining but apparently she doesn't care. So I went to a different Advance Auto Parts got cash back without any issues.

Fairly knowledgeable but I did buy standard brake lines and fittings the same guy rented me the metric flare tool and when I attempted to exchange it they didn't even have one too loan in the standard size.

Like the staff person who helped us. I tried to order on line, but had got the wrong starter. It seems google give you the cheapest starter they carry. So now I have downloaded there app. That will work out a lot better.

Amazing! Thanks so much Scott you really made my bad day into a good one! I will be shopping there now instead of AutoZone. It's nice to know a guy exists that can be told a Dorman part# and just grab it off the shelf for a guy in a hurry. Thanks again!

First I must admit that I am not mechanically inclined, so with the help of YouTube and Jeff at Advance Auto I was able to do the repairs myself, which is no small feat! I really appreciate their help and their patience, this is MY auto parts store!
