At the risk of giving away, my best kept secret, I have to highly recommend these guys. I ve had nothing but exceptional experiences with them. They do solid work, they communicate well, and they are fairly priced. Experience I ve had my share of difficult experiences with repair shops, and this is one of the best by far. The only slightly downside is that they can get busy sometimes. But they ve always done work on time and gotten it to me when they said they would. Well done wet more.

Love Wetmore!!! Been coming here for years & always receive great service. Just got a set of Toyo open country A/T 3 on my jeep cherokee & absolutely love them!! Thanks Dave!!

Been dealing with wet mores personally for 15 years now. They are the most up most honest people around and they value your buck just as much as you do, wich now a days goes unnoticed.

I've been bringing my vehicles to Wetmore's for years, and I have yet to be disappointed! I'm not just talking tires here. They do just about any mechanical work you need. They've been in business for longer than 50 years and will talk to you about your needs before you come in. Just ask for Dave, Tanya, or even the owner, Chris. They will do the best they can to take care of you!

Thank you Wetmore s! In one visit the team at Wetmore s fixed a tire balancing issue that another shop attempted to correct four times! Everyone was super helpful and pleasant to deal with. I ll be back again in the future!

Despite a delay in my own timing, Pete was super patient. Once I did get him what he needed to complete the work, he got me squared away very quickly.The guy who mounted and balanced my tire even put the OEM valve stem cap back on (yes, they're better and it matters to me). Can't tell you how many times I've had chain shops overlook that detail, but it's a lot.Top-notch service. Thanks.

When I was younger, I never understood my parents and other folks their age who would only take their cars to their mechanic exclusively. I d point to the ads for 20 minute cheap oil change and they would just shake their heads sternly and say nope, I only trust my spot Well I m here to say that after going to countless mechanics around the area, I ve found MY spot. Our cars don t get touched by, looked at, heck even thought about by any other spot.This is a team that works hard together, and top to bottom makes sure they do what s right for you and your car.So I m very happy to say I ve found MY spot, the only one that I trust, and I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat.

Stopped at Wetmore s today (Weds about 3 pm) for help with a leaky tire. Tire fixed & I was on my way in about 30 mins. I was a first time customer, the place was busy and I was able to get this great service! Friendly, welcoming staff. I m a really happy customer!

Cannot say enough good things about Wetmore s. After becoming another victim of 8 mile, I called the next morning, and they were able to get me in, replace the wheel and tire, realign my vehicle, and do the works and get it back to me the same day. Price came out to what they quoted me over the phone, and they called to get my permission before doing a full alignment (after discussing front alignment). So thankful, will be getting all vehicle needs serviced here from now on.

Ken is great. The customer service is amazing. The price is reasonable. Quality is good. I just wished they opened on Saturdays. Thumbs up for sure

Update: My brakes seemed to go bad overnight. Went back to Wetmore's based ony previous experience with them. Once again, fair price ($8 under the estimate), and my car was ready the next day - 2 days earlier than they predicted. Tonya even drove me home with my trunk load of groceries. I feel so lucky to have these guys in the neighborhood!

Been coming here for a long time. They do an amazing job. Nice that I get a loaner so i can still do my errands or go to work.Tired of people ripping you off. Well you need to go to Wetmore's, they are honest.

I've had to bring my car in 3 times this year for repairs and each time:1. the staff has been extremely professional and courteous.2. They're patient when explaining how and why the repairs were done.The last time I took my car in, the mechanic spoke to us personally and explained in detail what the issue was. This was refreshing considering other shops I've been to have a dismissive attitude. I.e. "I'm the mechanic so just take my word for it." Wetmore was not like this at all. I was truly surprised by how friendly and helpful the staff were.3. At no point have I ever felt like I was being ripped off or condescended to4. Their turnaround time for repairs is always quick. They also don't take appointments which is nice because I know I can drop my car off any time they're open and expect it back in a day or two at the most.5. Their prices are fair and they always call me after diagnosing the problem to get authorization before they begin work. So I know exactly how much I'm paying going in.I would definitely recommend them.

Such an amazing experience. Friendly and courteous. The pricing was more than fair. Service was excellent along with the work. And they had my vehicle back to me within a couple of hours. Not only will i be returning, but i will be referring everyone i know. Thanks for caring about your customers. Its businesses like yours that make the difference.

Having brought my vehicles here over the span of several years, and as recently as two days ago, Dave, Ken and everyone on staff have always been honest with the extent and cost of work needed to be done, and have treated me with respect every time. Their quality of work is without any doubt one of, if not the best within a 5 to 10 mile radius of where I live. My only regret about coming here is that I did not do so several years ago when I should have all along.

Went to get front wheel alignment. Was told it will be a couple hours to fix. Then just over an hour later, I was told it was done.My tires still looked unaligned. There were no marks on ties rod, which means they never fix it.

I noticed the undercarriage of my car was loose and took it to a couple places in the neighborhood who said they would not be able to fit me in for two weeks. I remembered Wetmore because of the awesome vintage car showcased on the roof and so decided to give them try. They saw me right away stating that they would be in touch later that day about the fix. (I drive a FIAT and they wanted to make sure they had the right part.) Less than an hour later got a call that it was ready. What started off as a stressful day became a sigh of a relief. Thank you guys.

I cannot recommend Wetmore's enough! My uncle sent me to them awhile back and I went again today. They give fair prices and are good people. Every time I've gone, I've saved hundreds of dollars compared to what the dealership wants to charge me for the same service. Thank you to everyone!

Simply an amazing place to get repairs, tires, etc...I have been going here for years. Always friendly & helpful...prices are reasonable too. Definitely somewhere I feel confident taking my car. As a female with little knowledge on car mechanics...I appreciate them taking extra time to explain everything. They will do service as quickly as possible...but it's a "first come, first serve" system & they are popular...so show up early!!

I was changing my wheels and tires on my Wrangler and went here on a recommendation. Their work was pretty darn quick and everything looked great. I was then having a sensor issue with one of the wheels and Rachel and Chris really took their time and tried everything and eventually figured out the issue. They were both very nice and took their time to explain everything they did and why since I am not very knowledgeable about car stuff. I will be coming here for ALL my future automotive issues/repairs. A real A+ operation at this all in one auto shop.

I took my car here for the first time after hearing consistently great things from others in Ferndale, and I'm happy to say I won't even think about going elsewhere in the future. The mechanics were honest with me, helped me prioritize which repairs were urgent and which could be put off a little longer. It was fast, affordable, and personal, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Love this repair shop! I have brought my car here a couple of times based on the recommendation of a friend, and both times they were able to repair my car quicker than they expected and with reasonable prices. Everyone is also very friendly and they take their time to explain what is going on with your car. Can't recommend them enough!!!

Wetmore s is a Woodward Ave. institution! No frills, but exceptional customer service. If you need tires or other auto service this is the place to go. Just had new wheels and tires put on my car. They did a great job and gave me a fair price. Give Wetmore s a try, I know you won t be disappointed.

This place is always great. They are very knowledgeable, they brought to my attention the problems of the Ford/Lincoln lug nuts. My manufacturer supplied lug wrench would not fit over lug nuts on my car last night. Between AAA and Wetmore's my spare was put on and I was able to get my new front tires. I can't imagine having a flat on a winter night and finding the wrench would not fit over the lugs.Whenever I've had a problem with my wheels or tires this is where I go for the best work. Good work for a fair price.

They are the best. I always take my vehicles here but recently we had one in for break service and the other all the sudden had a battery issue. Not only did they fix them both quickly they have me a loaner car to get through the day until I was back on the road.

I have a 2006 Chevy Malibu and I always keep up with the maintenance. I have had difficulty finding a dependable garage but I took my car to Wetmores because it was close and I heard they had a good reputation. My car had a rattle sounded like the engine was going to fall out. Ken was my technician and he and the Wetmore service was absolutely incredible! They had my car for a day and a half and called me to let me know it was done and they came and picked me up. The price was more than reasonable. Service was incredible. However I had to take the car back because the noise continued. Ken told me he would take care of it no problem. He gave me a loaner as it was over the memorial holiday. Ken called me on Tuesday the car was done . I drove to Wetmore s, s picked up my car. What a difference.. The noise was gone and I was so happy with the repair. Ken worked on it over the holiday. He did not charge me anything extra as the problem wasn t fixed the first time. The Customer service was something that you would ve found back in the 40s. They really strive to take care of your needs and charge you a fair price. I will continue to use Wetmores.
