Very professional, diligent and knowledgeable. Brought my 3 series in for an intercooler upgrade a few years back. But this time brought in the 5 series for maintenance. Brought my own parts (no greatness on them from the shop but that's to be expected) and they did the work flawlessly even when one part didn't fit (manufacturing defect) they ordered the replacement part and completed the job. Would highly recommend this place for any enthusiast and people who care about their vehicle.

I had a complete engine replacement done which I am driving totally perfect. The level of care taken by everyone there was exceptional. Look, if I had an entire engine replacement turn out perfect, anytime you want is going to be a piece of cake for them

Great place to take your car to, the front desk is very professional and knowledgeable.Very easy to book through the website. They send you a quote with the different work they are planning to do and you can easily accept or skip what you don't want.Will definitely come back.

Got some clutch work, a down-pipe and a tune on my MK7 GTI, Chris is a very helpful and kind guy with lots of knowledge about European cars. They spotted some issues with my car while it was being worked on and quickly found a resolution to those issues and got it taken care of. Definitely will be coming back for when I have any issues or modifications in mind. Would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for work to be done.

I have not been there yet but the website experience, the booking system and the responsive texts point to this being a great place to visit.Update. I went there last week what a pleasure. Reasonable prices, proper human explanation of my cars issues, I really did not get a auto shop vibe. Nice snacks and they even gave my son a little candy surprise in the back seat when we left. I will totally go again.

I am 100% happy with the work that Vast European Automotive has performed on my car. I have a 2005 Audi A4 b6 and I upgraded the turbo to a GT28, with custom turbo manifold and turbo downpipe .They were able to fix the complete disaster that the other shop did to my car and a very fast turnaround. I can honestly say this shop will get more of my business from this point forward. So once again I can't think the team at Vast European automotive performance for taking care of me and my mother and an awesome timely fashion when we need to get our 2015 Audi Q5 serviced. The prices are awesome The work is very reliable and I will highly recommend anybody needing this kind of service go see the team at Vast.

I took my 2018 F80 M3 to this place to get new tires and charge pipes installed. Very professional and accommodating I didn't want the car to see snow so it took a few reschedules but they managed to accommodate my needs. I'm really new to the area and I wont be going anywhere other than Vast for my mechanical needs.

Chris and the team at Vast are absolutely phenomenal, and I would highly recommend taking your European car to them for any work needing to be done.I came in with a check engine light and was instantly blown away by the professionalism and knowledge level by the workers.The information they send is better than the dealers ever have given me. You get pics of the car from multiple angles, a rundown of what parts are good, which are getting maybe a bit worrisome, and which are outright bad.They are patient and willing to explain why you need this or that, I never once felt like they were trying to sell me something to sell it.They are also familiar and comfortable with diesels, at least for european cars. They replaced my TDI's timing belt , did an exhaust regeneration, and didn't try to push me on things they recommended when I said I replaced them recently. The mechanic who worked on my car was familiar with TDI engines and knew what to do and why.They also give you quotes based on each job piece and not as like a "deal" where they try to incentivize you to do x and y at the same time to "save" money.They will be the sole people working on my TDI and are my go-to recommendation for anyone with a European car.

Took car in for service based on the shops ratings. They did not disappoint.Communication was spot on.Diagnosed problems.Sent pictures.Let you decide what to do.Show the criticalitly of the problem so you can make informed decisions.Worked with me through the process and always went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable.Prices are reasonable and given the trustworthiness I would say worth every penny.

The team at VAST were professional and customer friendly from very first contact to the last. The waiting area, though limited in space was very clean and well stocked with beverages and snacks.. oh and WI-FI. The technician working on my vehicle was thorough and knowledgeable as he walked me through the findings, service and tips on care of my vehicle. The competitive pricing coupled with the great experience equals a repeat customer

Took my 2006 VW GLI here to have them do a handful of upgrades which included big turbo, lsd, walnut blast, injectors, entire exhaust replacement, tune, tires, and a few other items. During the upgrade they kept me informed of their progress and brought attention to any issues that they noticed while working on it. After picking it up they have kept in contact with me to make sure no issues have arised. Any future upgrades will be done by vast and if anyone I know that is looking for any work or upgrades will definitely be referred here. Needless to say I couldn't be happier with my upgrades and how much of a little monster the GLI has become.Services: Transmission, Tires, Auto engine tuning, Auto exhaust system replacement

Gave these guys a call when my GTI went into limp the day before Veteran's Day; they got all of the parts ordered and work done in less than a week, including some transmission and suspension work I was behind on. Super responsive over text and phone, super friendly guys in the shop and even topped off the experience with some free shop merch. Highly recommended and I will be coming back again!

I honestly don t know how they re in business when they make it impossible to get any work done. I first contacted their tuning department on 11/8/23 and spoke with Daniel. After a few back and forth emails they just stopped responding. Gave them a week and called back, again talked to Daniel and was assured he was on top of it. Nope, ghosted me again. Made my last attempt with these clowns on 11/21/23. Talked again to Daniel and Chris this time. All sorts of apologies and proclamations that this isn t how we do business. That brings us to today, 1/9/24. Never heard back from them again so I tried to call and find out what the hell, got Daniel who pretended he had no idea who I was. Was told Chris would call me back, won t hold my breath. I was trying to get a TCU tune on an Audi, which shouldn t be this difficult. If they are this hard to give money to can you imagine what it would be like if you had any issues with a service? Will share this review on every social media platform and in as many groups as I can. Zach, I m told you are the owner, you can get my number from your employees if you want to have a chat about any of this.Update: I see that the owner is as shady as the employees. They told me unequivocally that they support remote tuning. Obviously, if they had said they didn t that would have been the end of it. Seriously, take your money to an honest business.

For clarity, I'm NOT one of those ppl who leave negative reviews for spite. But, negative reviews should be shared/made public to share that experience with ppl looking for work to be done by this business. My first mistake was not staying with the shop I usually went with for this type of work. I thought I would give Vast the chance to install a aftermarket trans cooler designed for my car & trans. The designer/engineer of this product (Red Mist Racing) has sold hundreds of these world wide & JH Motorsports even sponsors this product on their site. I provided Vast with all the docs/directions as they are precise & was essential to follow them. They either skimmed/skipped over the directions as welds were broken, routed hoses the wrong way, threaded connections wrong & had a constant drip-drip leak. To make matters worse they had my car for over a week as they attempted to redesign a product negating the instructions which doubled the cost quoted to me forcing me with their in-house financing (Snap Finan) who were terrible. I contacted Vast about the problems with the install & some samples of responses were "they could try to fix it but there was no guarantee, the trans cooler was a rikity product, it will prob still leak, if their schedule allowed it" to name a few. I forwarded those responses to the designer of the product as well as to communicate with Vast Perf. The designer of this trans cooler will be connected with this review to vouch for this. RMR designs, fabricates, sells this product worldwide & customers as well as JH Motorsports can attest to the quality of this trans cooler. I then chose to not have Vast Perf touch my car in any form with the lack of quality, lack of responsibility, lack of guarantee & zero interest in trying to remedy the situation. I went back to the shop I usually go to to fix the all the mistakes that Vast Perf did. I gave this shop the exact install directions, images/analysis from Vast Perf, and direct contact with the designer of the trans cooler so that the shop has everything they need to fix it. Thankfully absolutely no extra parts needed to be ordered as they provided me detailed images/explanations to what Vast Perf specifically did wrong & corrected their mistakes. Welds were overtightened & broke, hoses were routed wrong, threads were uneven & cross threaded, lines were zip tied, bumper was misaligned. The shop couldn't believe that Vast Perf would release a car like that & not honor their work. They said that if they would have actually followed the directions as stated that it would not have been a problem. I haven't had one single problem since this shop fixed everything with existing parts/setup that Vast Perf did wrong..... zero! Now, I fully realize that Vast Perf will either not respond to this review (as they don't with online negative comments) or ridicule & disparage my words. Thankfully I have all the images, documentation & emails to actually validate this & will willingly share if interested. I also know this is only one of the few negative reviews that will be dismissed as just a Negative Ned. I spent a couple thousand for a very inadequate installation and then spent another couple thousand to remedy the damage that Vast Perf did. Now, I believe in the positive reviews they have as I'm sure they have done good work for customers but, if they were incapable of installing a aftermarket product with all the detailed directions then they should have not told me that they could confidently install it. I really had high hopes in the beginning as I was initially impressed but the end result was one of the very few terrible customer service experiences I've ever been thru.

Being somewhat new to the SE Michigan area, I went with VAST for a tire mount & balance, from a friend's recommendation. Chris took great care of me, very satisfied with the VAST team's service!

They thoroughly checked my low oil pressure complaint and diagnosed an under flowing oil filter, changed the filter. The problem was temporarily fixed, but has shown up again. I fear a serious problem and will probably go back to have the oil pan removed to find out what the real problem is.

I called around Ferndale, looking for a shop to do a pre purchase inspection but none would have been able to see the car within the allotted time frame. When I called Vast, I was told to get it in by a certain time (THAT DAY!) and they would look at it. I was shocked. Got the car in, they gave me a link to view what would be done and I got the MOST detailed inspection report sent to my phone that day. I was able to confidently make a decision and purchase the car. AND!! They gave me a ride back to my place while I was waiting. When I asked about what would need to be done to the car, they were very honest about what I would need but that nothing was needed immediately. So glad I found this place and I will happily be back.

VAST is definitely the best place to take your euro car. I take my 335i here often for repairs and they do a great job. They are professional the whole way through as well. I was looking to purchase a used Mercedes S550. The car drove great and looked like it was in mint condition. I took it to VAST for a pre-purchase inspection, and boy, am I glad I did ! They found a slew of problems and maintenance deficiencies that would have cost me thousands to repair. They went above and beyond by taking photos of each problem area, with a detailed description next to the photos. I was expecting a simple right up, and was surprised to see close to 100 photos. . Will definitely visit them again with the next car. Thanks guys !!!! -mike

The short, well groomed gentleman, I forget his name but he likes talking about circles for some reason, is well versed in the field, and has such kind eyes and an amazing, soothing voice that can calm Hurricaines makes it hard to pay attention to what he is saying because you get lost in the silky ness of his mid ranger illustrious voice they do pretty good work too

Stan was great at helping me understand all the choices available for the tires replacement on my 2015 GTR Nismo! Was finished earlier than the time promised and excellent communication from the first time I reached out to schedule it to job completion! Entire team paid meticulous attention to Nismo! Vast Performance is one of the best performance shops in the Surrounding areas! Zach and Chris do a great job communicating and recommending the necessary services up front. Nate along with the guys in the back do phenomenal work on the vehicles and i trust them entirely. Ive brought a few of my vehicles in for services, including two supercharged E9X M3s and my daily driver VW Touareg, Audi a4 and f80 M3.
