Honest, kind, and genuine. He showed me what was wrong and walked me through how and why he would fix what he needed to without me asking. Invoice included all parts, costs, and labour costs. Would definitely recommend to others!

Highly recommend Dinh's Auto Repair. I had my front and rear brakes and rotors replaced and the price was reasonable. The work was finished quickly. Friendly and knowledgeable guy. I'll be back when I need repairs because this is an honest, friendly, and knowledgeable mechanic.

Dinh s is top-notch. I had a tow truck drop my car off (which had just spilled out all its coolant) here after a friend highly recommended them. It was after hours and I left my vehicle along with a note slipped under the door hoping for the best. The next morning BEFORE 9AM Dinh s had already called me with a diagnosis! They had a new radiator installed by 1PM that day. I ve never experienced such quick, professional, affordable service. They also take the time to really explain to you what is going on with your car. I ve been back several times now and each time they go through with me what they think are necessary repairs and what are things that I might consider in the future. In the past I have felt taken advantage of at auto shops (being a younger woman), and it s such a relief to find a respectful reliable shop. I m a customer for life! I drive a Volkswagen, and I've always struggled to find a mechanic who can fulfill 2 criteria:1) The right tools to work with European nuts and bolts2) The right prices (If you've been to a VW dealership, you KNOW)Dinh's Auto Repair has finally ended my search. Immediately upon arrival, the owner talked with me about my concerns, took the time to explain what maintenance was necessary, and even distinguished where dealership garages had ripped me off in the past. This was my second time using Dinh s service and just like last time it was immaculate. I got spark plugs replaced on my 2013 VW CC 2.0 T. It s was a quick in and out job. Additionally he ran diagnostics for the check engine light. He was prompt in discussing the problem and how we can go and fix it. He is very knowledgeable and narrowed the problem. Looks like my VW needs a new air intake manifold , luckily it s still in warranty.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning

What a great guy! I've been to him a couple of times with an older model Chevrolet right had problems and had to have it towed there one time he worked on it replaced the battery and some other connections charged me very fairly. another time when my car wouldn't start and was towed there, the next day it started right up, he gave it an inspection and sent it on its way with no charge.

I'm a College Student going to the University of Detroit Mercy and I also am a guy that knows quite a bit about cars. But sometimes it's just not possible (time and know-how) to fix car problems yourself. So when I decided to try out Dinh's Auto Repair (before it had the title "Foreign Car Repair", which is hard to find in Michigan) I was of course skeptical of him. Any smart person is skeptical the first time they try out a mechanic because you don't know who to trust anymore. Well here I am, 3 years later and I've taken my car to him 4 times now. Each time he gives me a thorough estimate at an affordable rate ($40) and an honest explanation of the problem. Just this last time I took my car (1994 Nissan Sentra) in because it made noises when I turned the steering wheel and within hours he called me back telling me that I had two separate leaks in my power steering rack. He went on to tell me that it would be $800 to fix but with how old my car was he suggested I just keep an eye on the power steering level and that will fix it. What kind of mechanic tells you that? Most mechanics would tell you that you must spend the $800 to get it fixed or else. So of course I didn't spend the $800 and instead paid him $40 and now my car is back to working order and I just need to keep the fluid up. Dinh is not out to get anybody, he just tells it like it is. Would definitely recommend him to anybody

I took my car to Dinh today for the first time. The dealer gave me a laundry list of things that needed to be done. I took the list to Dinh & he was very honest & up front w/ me about it. He said I didn't need any of the suggested work done other than the front brakes. My car was ready in less than an hour. They charged me $200.00 less than the dealer! They also did a minor repair to my passenger side wiper for no charge. I'm a customer for life!

I Called about Engine Replacement Did not Have the price per hour Also I Was Told I Would have to bring in to be looked at The Engine is Done For .What are Yu looking for? Lol How Much For Replacement of Engine .They were terrible

My name is Giuseppe. I am new in town and I was looking to get somebody to fix my old but much loved Subaru. I had to leave it with him before he opened up because I had to get down to work. I had taken the car to another mechanic (Autolab in Canton) and they confirmed my suspicions of a faulty passenger front wheel bearing and ball joints but wanted to charge me an ASTOUNDING $700.00 to replace the wheel bearing alone, plus another $300.00 for the ball joints. I had called around and even Hodges in Ferndale came out to less than that! Anyway, DINH was very reasonable with pricing and he got the job done for me within the day using parts that I provided. I test drove the car when I got it back and it is running quiet as a mouse. This is a good mechanic, people!

Dinh's is top notch. Very fast, accurate, and very reasonable.I believed the 5 star reviews but was fully aware of all the negative ones (on other sites) while my cars were being worked on.My verdict- anything less than 5 stars is libelous.

Paid $70 to be told there was only an exposed wire shorting my battery and nothing else wrong with my 92 chevy1500, only to go pick up some things and get stranded on the freeway because it suddenly overheated and 2 days later will not start again. Another $80 for the tow home.

I called earlier in the day and we agreed I would bring my car in just before they closed at 5pm. When I called to say I was still coming they picked up the phone and hung up on me. I arrived at exactly 5pm to a messy, filthy shop, no one at the front desk or office, and a guy sitting at a computer back in the shop wearing a headset, smoking a cigarette and blasting music so loud he either couldn't hear me yelling for assistance or was ignoring me completely. Immediately lost all confidence and was so glad to take my business just up the street.

All of the previous comments are true. Ive been going to this location for 25+ years. Always a great experience!!!!! I wish I could give it 10 stars. My best experience, a rebuilt trans for my '03 Acura TL maybe 8 years ago.

Be careful because they do the good service enough to get you reeled in. Then you'll be continuously bringing your car back for more and more issues. I took my car to them for one issue, but they never fixed my issue, yet you could clearly hear the loud scrubbing noises. DON'T TRUST THEM!!

He is fair and honest , he will tell you what your best option is for the car. He is also very fast, they dont keep your car forever. If you drop your car off for him to look at, he will call you by the end of the day and let you know what is wrong and how much it will cost to repair.

I tried out several shops in the area beforecoming here, and felt that the staff were negligent or even deceitful at every one. These guys are knowledgeable, fair and quick. I've brought my old Pathfinder here half-a-dozen times now.

Took my car here with a bad wheel bearing. Guy told me he was packed and couldn't get to it. I explained I was driving up north and really could use some help. He got it in and out cheaper than down the street. Nice folks

Had my car towed here after an issue with all of my fluid leaking. They refilled my fluid, looked at it, fixed it, and didn't charge me for anything.
