I brought in my car because one of the windows would not close. The ladies in the front office were extremely kind. They explained everything about the process (car rental, etc) which greatly eased my worries. Turns out that the window fix was very simple and they didn't charge anything. They even washed my car. Considering the circumstances of why I was there it was a great experience. Can't thank them enough.

Service King Collision did a fantastic job repairing a dented door on my car. Communication throughout the process was excellent. When I picked the car up, it was spotless inside and outside. Everyone that I interacted with was helpful and professional. My car was finished late afternoon and they stayed open after closing time so that I could pick it up. I would definitely use Service King Collision again.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

If their bodywork is anything like their front office then it must be awful.It goes like this... I was a walk-in customer looking to get a hood and trunk paint matched and some other minor bodywork. They told me I would have to come back next week because the person who does estimates isn't in. (Fair enough, I was a walk in after all) Well, I return the following week and the woman (the one with the broken arm) who apparently does the estimates, was in the most foul mood the moment she found out this wasn't an insurance claim."Is this customer pay?"Sure"IS THIS CUSTOMER PAY?!"Yes, I said I would be paying.She got so hung up on it being "customer pay" and just kept saying that over and over like she learned a new buzzword in her failed leadership class. I wanted to leave at that point because it was clear in her attitude that she no longer cared, but I figured someone with some skill must work at this place so I'll just let her take the pictures.Big mistake. She asks me to tell her what I'm looking to have done while she's taking the pics.I'd like this CF trunk and hood painted to match the car."Hmmm, I don't know. I'm gonna have to ask the techs."Okay... I'd also like this repaired on the front fascia"Uhhhhh, I don't know. I have to ask. And this might need to be completely replaced"She then proceeds to pick away at this spot with her nail. I tell her to stop, she doesn't stop. She then looks at me with such an attitude and says "she needs to get a feel for it." LMAO. I'm sorry, what? She just told me she 'didn't know' if a hood and trunk could be painted, but suddenly she's a urethane whisperer?It's been over a week since that "appointment" and I still haven't heard from them. I'm convinced she probably 86'd my entire inquiry because she's a child and doesn't know how to communicate effectively.I was going to just forget about it and find an actually reputable shop, but the fact that I still haven't received anything from them was enough to warrant a record of my experience... or lack-thereof.

My car was vandalized and ripped to pieces about a month ago and I filed a claim through my insurance company. My insurance company recommended Service King and I am so glad that they did. The process was really long and drawn out due to backordered (not Service King's fault) Hyundai parts, but Billy and his team were phenomenal. The customer service, customer care, communication, respect and kindness of this location and it's employees was top notch! Even when I came to pick up my car and left my credit card at home, they took me to pick it up. Unreal and amazing. Thank you so much for everything!Services: Auto glass repair, Body & Trim

Incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. While I was dealing with a million things when my car front was smashed, they kept their cool, and helped me keep my cool. Excellent team here!

The Body Techs are highly skilled collision experts! Absolute masters of the/their craft! The Painter is amazing at color matching and fine tuning beautiful magnificent finishes from top to bottom! A true artist with extreme talent! The GM and front office staff are like no other, hearts of gold with a passion and thirst for top notch quality customer service! The CER and Repair planner are hard working and always go beyond for every customer no matter what! The Parts guy tries very hard to manage his department! The Detailer does what is necessary to bring you a clean and sanitary welcome back to your car experience! The Team in Ferndale is like family, a very unique group thats gets it done and done right! I dare you to find out for yourself!

STAY AWAY .terrible shop. stay away. they change your appointment after waiting for two weeks. When you get upset that they moved your appointment they leave a message that they can not accommodate your car service, and they wonder why I am so upset. Very unprofessional. AVOID THIS SHOP. Update: Initially rated 2 stars because they returned our vehicle and it was still giving errors and having issues. We had to bring it back in, but they were quick in turning around the vehicle to fix the issues we were having.

My car was damaged during a wind storm. I took it into them and they replaced a passenger side fender, painted it, and fixed all of the other scuffs and dings from the storm in 24 HOURS! It looked spectacular when done and they even vacuumed out my car. I would give them a 1000 stars if I could. Great job!Services: Painting, Body & TrimServices: Painting, Body & Trim

Excellent work done on my Truck. They finished the work quickly and I had my car back in 6 bd. From the time we dropped off the truck until we picked the truck up, I received updates. My claims adjuster Jerry McLeod was so professional and patient. I will definitely use Service King again.

Had an overall GREAT experience. Their team was excellent, from start to finish. Did great and fast work on my vehicle. They even touched up my dings and scratches at no extra charge. Along with a full interior and exterior wash/detail. I hope to never be in another "Collision Shop" again but if I do, Autometric Collision will be my one and only choice!

Do not, DO NOT take your car here. Do not let your insurance company take your car here. They have had our car for almost a month and haven't even started. But even worse, we were getting text messages that it was ready to be picked up. We planned and scheduled a vacation with our children, and now we can't take them. THEY HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED and have had the parts for 11 days. Whatever you do, avoid taking your car here.

Thank GOD I didn t decide to allow the Ferndale location to service my car. First of all out of all the 30+ years of being a happy and loyal USAA member I have never been told that I must pay my deductible up front before even touching my car. I communicate very well with my insurance company (USAA) and have never had a problem with them. The Service King employee Scott Thompson insisted that we pay our deductible up front even after I explained to him that our deductible should be waived. It s not good customer service or courtesy to go back and forth with a customer demanding a payment up front, especially if the customer communicated that it should be waived not to mention that the usual protocol is to pay your deductible after service has been completed. The proper and professional customer oriented way to have handled that was to contact USAA and confirm the information, not be rude, obnoxious and arrogant going back and forth with the customer. He was stuck on your deductible hasn t been waived you have to pay and you have to pay now before you bring the car in. Not ok let me confirm the information with USAA to see what we need to do to get you serviced. No courtesy No respect. Awful customer service. As long as I have been a USAA member I never experienced negative customer service such as this. Totally unacceptable and yes I will let USAA know.

By far the worst service I ever had and they strive on over charging your insurance. Let them work on my 2006 impala ss which was in a accident on the passenger side doors. When I came to pick the vehicle up it had rust on the hood (which wasn't there before) and began to tell me it was like that when I brought it then began to say they took pics before and after which I wanted to see and there it stood nothing was on the hood when I brought it in, point of the story is they are horrible voice recordings to prove it

It was an average day in the winter, clear skies, no snow, average temperature. I was sitting in my living room and then I hear a loud boom outside. I thought to myself, someone just hit my car! I peered out the window and I didn't see my car hit... rather I didn't even see my car in general. I go outside and find that my neighbor hit my car full speed from the back and my car flew 30 feet! I was in disbelief and shock as I saw my Prius resemble an accordion. Everyone was physically not hurt and that's the most important.So now, his insurance company, AAA told me to find a collision shop in the area that I need. I searched online and found this company, Auto Metric Collision in Ferndale. The one in Royal Oak had some great reviews so I hope this establishment was the same. I decided to give them a shot and I had the car towed to the facility. I arrived at the facility and they assessed the damage with me. When I arrived, the first thing I noticed was how incredibly clean and professional the shop looked. Right away I was greeted by the store manager, Don, a well mannered and professionally dressed person. He was extremely thorough in telling me what the process was and I had an extremely clear understanding from then on. Needless to say, my Prius was in HORRIBLE SHAPE and I was surprised it wasn't totaled. The manager even fixed my audio system in the car, something they totally didn't have to do.Although it took a while (28 days) I got a phonecall from the manager telling me the car was fixed. I came into the facility and the car that I got from them was even better than it's original detail! I was in awe about how great the car looked. The tires were shined, the car was so clean I could eat dinner off the hood, and the interior was vacuumed and wiped down to perfection.All in all, I am delighted with the customer service and the final result. I couldn't be happier with the professionalism exuded by Autometric Collision and Don the manager. I strongly recommend them for any type of body work for your vehicle.

Autometric in Ferndale did a great job repairing my 2011 corolla. They were able to take my car the same day I called. It was a large repair , around $5,000. They completed the work in 3 weeks. The car was detailed and looked like new.I would definitely recommend this bodyshop for other people.

I had not used nor heard of this collision shop before. But upon a recommendation, I had my vehicle taken there for repair. The customer service and the repair were first rate. Should anyone ask me for a place to take their vehicle for collision repair, Service King will be my answer.

I walked into this place by mistake today. I was looking for another collision shop. The lady at the front desk went ABOVE and beyond to help me out. She searched in her computer for the vehicle, we figured out that I was in the wrong place.. She even came out in the rain to show me the correct direction to go in.. I'm soo greatful and think that she should be recognized for her outstanding customer service. I'm sorry that I didn't get her name. But thank you soo much!
