I went to Vek's for many years taking multiple family vehicles to Harry. I did that because not only are they good at what they do, but Harry was always honest and gave a fair deal. He didn't try to pad the pricing to make an extra buck, he just gave a fair price for the job. I was there again today and received the same kind of service. I don't want a shop that just automatically throws my truck on a diag machine and charges me $85 for just that alone - I want a shop with a real mechanic - one that has years of experience and has the eyes & ears to figure out what is going on after driving my truck to feel and listen to it. That is what I received today - I will continue taking all of our vehicles there.

Our family has come here for years. They re always fair and speedy when your car comes in. Only complaint might be that it s gotten a bit harder to get in, but that s likely due to more folks realizing how great they are. Good, honest business.

After getting my 2004 beater fixed in multiple locations. Veks is the sweet spot I've found. They have great prices, and their availability is decent. I won't be going anywhere else

I have taken multiple vehicles to Vek's and every time they have done a fantastic job. They have diagnosed issues in 30 minutes that Belle Tire told me they couldn't figure out after having my vehicle all day. I would trust these wonderful folks with any of my vehicles for anything. They are reasonably priced, fast, reliable and WAY better than going to any of the dealerships. When Vek was owned by the original owner everything went great. Had multiple vehicles serviced and worked on with no issues over the past 8 years. Since the original owner has sold to these joke mechanics, the quality of work had gone down. No reason I should be back 3 times within a month for brakes on the same vehicle. WOULD NOT recommend these backyard mechanics!Service: Brakes

They were amazing! My brother recommended this place to me and I m so glad he did! They were able to fix my car in just a few hours for a totally affordable price (so I feel I definitely didn t get scammed here), they called me to update me on what they found was wrong, what needed to be replaced, and how much it would be, instead of just going ahead and fixing it and not letting me know (like a couple of other places I ve been to), and were totally helpful with any questions I had! I highly recommend them to anyone who has any problems! Best experience I ve had yet.

It was an alright place but I called ahead specifically to see if they could diagnose a valve train issue. They didn't run any diagnostic tests and the results I got back were "it's gummed up...happens all the time with that motor". If it was beyond their abilities it would have been nice to know that when I called so I didn't waste an entire day without my vehicle/arrange people to pick me up and drop me off. Workers seemed nice though, and they made a recommendation for where to go. Just not very impressed.

We do not recommend this shop. Under the previous owner we had no problems... when it was something the guys couldn't fix at home or didn't have the time to- they brought the vehicles there and had great service, results, etc. Now they just don't care, charge for anything they can and don't really look into the problem. We were very, very disappointed. None of our families' vehicles will be going back for anything.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Although this was my first visit to Vek's, my dad has taken his cars here since the early 1990's and always spoke highly of them. My recent experience was great... an oil change and brake work and the car was back to me the same morning. Labor and parts were reasonably priced and the whole process was as straightforward as it gets. Highly recommended for an honest repair at a fair price and it's right here in downtown.

Our family has been a customer of Vek's for 20 years. We regularly recommend them to others. They are honest in their diagnostics and assessment - they do not try to sell you something that is not needed. The price charged is fair and reasonable, the quality of the work is excellent. They have both our trust and our respect.

Best mechanics in the Fenton area. Took my Saab in because another shop was unable to work on it ( tried to replace a piece and put it in wrong and couldn't figure out how to correct it). I like to take very nice care of my cars, and I felt completely confident leaving my car with mechanics here. My parts took a few days to come in but it's totally understandable because it's a Saab, other than that they had my car fixed in about 3 hours. Super friendly and pretty inexpensive. Great work guys, Thank you!

I normally only give good reviews to help people find the great places to go, however I feel people need to be aware of Vec's. We used to take our vehicles there all the time. Then this spring my wife took our car there for an ABS light for rear speed sensor. Vec's called and said it is the wheel bearing. I agree, it happened on the other side a couple years ago and Vec's fixed it! So I was happy. Well I go and pick up the vehicle and find out that the original owner retired and one of the mechanics bought the business and kept the name. I get the vehicle back and now the steering wheel has to be turned about 5 degrees to the right while the care goes straight. Did some research and talk to an engineer who worked in alignment at final assembly and found out the thrust angle is off. (The alignment of the rear axle). The engineer said that it happens trying to get the old wheel bearing out. So my wife called them back and he tells her "The steering wheel issue is an alignment issue. There isn't anything we did that would affect the alignment. We don't have an alignment rack so you will have to take it to the dealership and they will do an alignment for $80. There is nothing we have done cause it." Well the tells me he is either a bad mechanic and doesn't really know or he is dishonest and lied to cover it up. I am not a person to argue with people and typically don't leave negative reviews (take a look at the reviews I have posted). I normally just stop going to places I don't like but when I feel it is this bad people need to know. Hopefully this was a rear instance so if you do go there just be cautious. I don't want any business to fail just get better.Update I apologize I was wrong. We did follow Vec's advice to get the front end aligned and he was correct it did help. However the alignment business said any work on rear requires an alignment and they did find the front out and the rear in. So my lesson learned is check with multiple sources to confirm not just 1.

This place is so good. We've had two emergencies with our vehicles and they were so friendly and very accommodating. Definitely recommend this place but call for an appointment.

Just cannot say enough good things about their service. Always willing to help, prices are very fair. Have never had to go back for same trouble. Would recommend them to anyone looking for quality service at fair prices.

Amazing experience with Vek's Auto in Fenton, MI. Our van wouldn't start Sunday afternoon after a long weekend of softball/baseball tourney. Had it towed to Veck's Sunday afternoon and that was the best decision ever! Steve called me Monday AM, told me the fuel pump relay had gone bad, and that he called a few dealerships to get the part but they wouldn't sell it to him b/c it's part of a recall (ugh). Anyways, he and I worked together and we found the part in Taylor, got it to Vek's on Tuesday and fixed Tuesday afternoon. Steve and his staff were amazing, honest, and great communication throughout the entire process. Can't say enough good things about Vek's auto in Fenton, THANK YOU SO MUCH!Service: Electrical

I went into Veks and asked if they could replace my spark plugs due to a misfire in my first cylinder. They said sure took it back and I went on with my day. Eight hours later, they go ahead and call me to let me know that it was actually my valves that needed some maintenance. I call Kearsley Auto and they said, yeah bring it on bye and we can take a look. Well I get a call today telling me that it was only my sparks and it was a quick easy fix. So you re telling me that I had to pay 40$ to have my trucked parked in ur fkn parking lot. You just lost a good customer. I came in a whole lot for simple fixes. Not anymore.

Apparently have a lucrative deal working out with the two company to tow vehicles parked. $375 to get your car back. Would not recommend them.

These guys are great! Good deal and always fix it right the first time. Will even accept your own parts. Not the most beautiful lobby but your here to get your car fixed not milk and cookies.

We have taken a Pontiac Vibe in to Vek's Auto for a few different repairs and they have always been very prompt with their service and they seem very honest and fair with their pricing. We will certainly be recommending Vek's Auto Service to our friends and families.

OH MY! VEK's is only place I will take my car to get everything when needed to be fixed. Prices are reasonable people are very nice to us customers. They work with you when you really in need of help. Most of all they are honest people at VEK's I was referred to them from my pastor at my church an many people around the area's. IM from Fenton Mi. All my 66 yrs an i will be advertising for VEK'S I LUV YOU PEOPLE YOUR AWESOME! GOD BLESS YOU ALL. ILL BE BACK. JUST STAY THE WAY YOU ARE NICE AN HONEST ESPECIALLY IN THESE HARD TIMES TODAY.
