Al and the team at The Detroit Garage have serviced all my vehicles. When it was time to move on from my F150, I purchased this Tundra. Knowing I wanted to make changes to the factory wheels, I picked the rims, Al helped with tires and ensured the package would look good on my vehicle. I can t say enough how happy I am with the decision. Al and the team did it again!

On March 22nd I arrived with an audibly leaking tire in my grandmothers car crying my eyes out, a hungry baby post appointment in arm unsure what to do. A woman at one of the desks assisted in getting someone to look at and fit me in to patch the tire in the moment. That day saved me! Today, they fit me in for a last minute pre-purchase inspection on a new car for my family. They are extremely professional and kind!! I am grateful to live nearby. Anytime I need a car repair, I ll call The Detroit Garage!

After being told by another local garage that it would take me 2 days and $100 to fix my car, The Farmington Garage had it done in 2 hours for FREE!! They graciously told me that it was a simple fix that cost them nothing, so it should cost me the same! Will definitely be back for the fantastic customer service!

I was referred to The Detroit Garage-Farmington and I could not be more pleased. The work was efficient. The owner and staff were professional, honest and kind. I went on for what I thought was a need for a new starter (based on the message on the dashboard) when my 2015 Volvo would not start. They did a thorough diagnostic evaluation and determined that my battery had just gotten too low. They charged it up. Gave me advice on how to avoid it happening again and sent me on my way. They have a new customer for life.

Friendly service. I love the high tech features of the electronic estimate and photos of the parts in need of repair. The waiting room is so clean and welcoming. I will return!

I went in there for an oil change and tire rotation and balance. They did an Awesome job and Fast. Took about 35 minutes and it didn t cost too much. The customer service was good. Kaitlin took care of me and she was so nice! Also the lobby was nice and neat and has free beverages too. I had a great experience there and would come back for sure.

Farmington Garage is my go-to place for any issues with my car. Manager Al Willman makes sure you are given great personalized service. FG is unlike any other service center. It's clean, including the restroom! Very comfortable waiting for any repair. I have been using the Farmington Garage for 10-12 years! They are truly exceptional! The manager Caitlin is incredibly experienced and knowledgeable! I get nothing less then first class service every time! I feel they are honest and their pricing is fair. I would highly recommend them!

We brought our vehicle here thanks to a recommendation after a terrible experience with the dealership we were taking it to and I can easily say we know where we will be taking it from now on. Al and his crew were incredible and made sure we knew everything that was going on every step of the way and they were all so kind. Above all else, they were honest and I never felt pressured to get anything done that I didn t need to. We will be taking our vehicles there for everything from now on!

Great service and great experience! The fact they told me I'll be needing brakes soon but didn't try to sell me on getting them done now and I should wait until spring tells me they re honest. And their charges are fair and reasonable.

I ve taken my car to Detroit garage for several full service repairs that could be done at a dealership- local dealers I ve had bad experiences and poor customer service at. I brought my 2011 Subaru Outback to Farmington Garage for an oil leak discovered by another shop during a routine spark plug replacement. Al, the service advisor was great! He informed me of the testing that needed to be accomplished and within an hour sent a text link to a site with pictures of the parts of the car in question and repair recommendations. The site was informative and simple to accept or reject repairs. The level of communication was great! By the evening I was told what had been repaired already and when to expect the car to be ready. Start to finish was less than 24 hours and that included diagnosis, getting parts, a full brake service (rotors, pads, fluid flush), and a couple of other minor service items. The prices were very reasonable and repairs done perfectly! I went in to the Detroit Garage Farmington for the first time for an oil change (Veterans Day promotion-free). It took me a few days to even decide to go in for this since I am a Chevrolet dealership (or whatever make of car I have) patron only. Walking in, I was welcomed and Thanked for my service. I waited for the oil change to be completed living 4 miles away. The oilChange was completed in about 44 minutes. The service person brought the keys to me and advised me that I needed tires. Shocked when he said all four. That s why I ve always gone to dealership, normally no surprises. I made the appointment to get them done, telling myself when I got home I d check the tires myself or have someone else take a look for me and then call Detroit Garage back to cancel. I did the penny test. Another shocker, all 4 tires did need replacing. Of course I kept the appointment. Feeling guilty for thinking what we all think of repair shops, I had to apologize. Al(I believe was my mechanic) received it with a smile. Tires on, anything needed, I was informed prior. To make a long story short, I came out with 4 new tires at a reasonable rate And a new partnership for me and my Trax. Highly recommended. Plus, the reception/waiting area was really clean.Give them a call, you won t be disappointed.

After I was unable to get to my normal repair shop (I. I.) due to the distance & my fear of driving my car that far, I saw Detroit Garage-Farmington (DGF) online. The owner of my go-to repair shop told me he knew the owner of DGF & that he was a man of integrity. This review barely skims the surface of my respect for the quality of service & professionalism I received! Detroit Garage-Farmington went above & beyond my expectations. They educated me about my car, provided reliable transportation for me while they did the work & was time & cost efficient! If you want peace of mind & great service, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Detroit Garage-Farmington!

I love the Detroit Garage/Farmington Garage! I have an older Mustang that I am trying to keep on the road and they certainly help me do that. Their service is impeccable and second to none. I had heard good reviews and was not disappointed. They were ready at my appointment time. The work was done quickly and cleanly. No added fees. And they were nice! Kaitlyn was very nice and easy to talk to. She sent me a work order almost immediately. She sent a couple different stage clutch options for my WRX. I approved it and they got it done right and fast. Work comes with 3 year/36,000 mile warranty. I highly recommend them.

"Stay Away! Terrible Experience at The Farmington Garage and The Detroit GarageI am writing this review with immense pain and frustration. Not only did I waste close to $2000 USD, but I also faced life-threatening situations due to the incompetence of The Farmington Garage and The Detroit Garage. Despite multiple attempts to fix my Honda Civic 2009, the persistent overheating issue was never resolved.Each time I picked up my car, I faced the terrifying ordeal of it overheating, including one instance on a freeway where I had to pull over while going 70MPH. This harrowing experience has left me not only financially drained but also emotionally and physically exhausted.Furthermore, the lack of competence displayed by the manager, Mr. Al Willman, and his team, combined with their disrespectful behavior, has shattered my trust in their services. The absence of transportation provisions forced me to walk 2.5 miles each time I had to pick up or drop off my car, compounding my distress.I caution anyone considering their services to avoid The Farmington Garage and The Detroit Garage at all costs. They not only failed to fix my car but also put my life at risk. This entire ordeal has been a traumatic experience that has left me deeply scarred and disillusioned."

Farmington Garage is busy and busy for a reason. Their techs take pictures of their inspections and then you can see them online and approve what you want. They are not pushy and they are super professional. I dropped some coin on repairs but I know they were done right.
