I had a pretty big scratch on my car and was looking around they Ann Arbor area for a collision shop, however they were all booked for the next three months. I called Maaco and they were able to give me an estimate the day of, took the car on Tuesday, and was finished by Monday, which I thought was incredibly quick. The quality of their work is evident in the pictures: basically as close to perfect as you can get. They also cleaned the interior of my car, which I ve never experienced at any other body shop, so was pleasantly surprised! The staff (primarily worked with Joe) was incredibly helpful and super accommodating. I highly recommend this place and, if I ever need to visit a body shop in the future, will definitely come back to this location.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Tim, Joe and the crew were amazing. I made the mistake of thinking I could fix paint chips onmy own. Long story short I made a mess and destroyed the hood and front fender of my car. Embarrassed I took the car to them and they were as nice as can be. Not only did they fix my mistakes they blended in the repairs and made it look like it never happened. All this for a great price and fast service. Learn from my mistake and don t do the work your self but take it to the professionals at Maaco Farmington Hills!Service: Painting

They did a fantastic job on my 1970 Monte Carlo. I drove from Canada to get a reasonable price. It is not a show car so I couldn't justify spending over $10,000 on paint as I was quoted from alot of shops. They gave a great price and a very good paint job.Service: PaintingService: Painting

Where else can you go to get a quality paint job within 2 weeks. If you said to yourself Farmington hills Maaco you are correct. These guys over here are crazy good at what they do when you go in ask for joe and Tim! Super friendly great guys They will take care of you and give you the best of there knowledge to find what perfectly fits you. Have had probably over 100 car parts painted and multiple cars painted and they ve always have gone above and beyond. I had an ugly fender bender on my BMW. Three dealerships wanted between $1100 -$1300. It was ridiculous so I went to Maaco and they repaired it to brand new condition for $420. I had my car back in less than $24 hours and they drove me home. Can t beat it. My deductible was $500 so it worked.Service: PaintingService: Painting

Dropped the car off on Tuesday and picked it up the following Tuesday, my Hot Rod looks like new, both new bumpers are nice and secured. The guys there explain everything in detail which makes you comfortable in price and final results. I'm so glad I chose this Maaco to paint my vehicle. When I purchased my SUV it didn't have the best paint job...thanks to whoever thought they could paint a vehicle. L L!So I lived with it until someone hit me in the rear. Uh- h! Had to get Maaco!I researched reviews, got recommendations from friends who had work done here.First and foremost they were very friendly and welcoming when I arrived.Joe gave me a great price & great advice.I made a appointment, dropped my vehicle off...they even made sure I had a ride back home. My vehicle was beautifully painted, shiny & washed when I picked it up.It looks like a new car. W W!Joe & Tim was very professional as well as being very knowledgeable about the services they perform.They even buffed & smoothed out a couple of little chips that was on the door and didn't charge me...talk about fantastic customer service. Yay! I highly recommend if you want a professional paint job & great customer service come to this Maaco in Farmington Hills, MI. I'm definitely telling all my family, friends and even (friendly) strangers who I meet to come here. I brought my car in for repair due to having a car accident. The whole front end was crushed. The accident was Aug 20th. I turned it in for repair around Sept 1st. I was able to drive the car with no problems even after the accident. It just looked crazy with the crushed front. Other drivers avoided me! I think they were scared my crushed car would rub off on them.The Good: The Maaco people were very professional and helpful. They always answered the phone, and they explained things to me. The first time I came to pick the car up after they said it was ready, I saw that the hood was a bit misaligned from the bumper. Things looked off to me. They took the car back and realigned it or whatever. I came back the next day or after that and picked it up. The Bad: When I came to pick my car up, I tried to start it, but the battery was dead. I got back out of the car and told person A (I can't remember his name). He said oh we just need to jump start it. He said so and so will come from the back and jump start you. So and so did come a couple of minutes later and jump started me. I drove home (about 10 miles) and parked in my driveway. I went in the house and my mom came out a few minutes later to use the car. Dead (again). When I first brought the car to them it was running fine. When they returned it to me the battery needed jump starting. I have to admit I was tired of interacting with Maaco and any car people. I had just paid them over $4000 for car repairs, Hertz over $2000 for car rental fees (out of pocket) and been without a car for weeks (yes it took that long to repair but Maaco can't control how soon parts are delivered. I understand that.) Maybe Maaco would have fixed my battery for free but that would involve tow trucks and more conversations and being carless again. I called a mobile mechanic company. They came that day. Paid $300 for someone to come out and replace the battery. I didn't want to take any chances by just jump starting it again. New battery. I give Maaco 4 out of 5 stars because I think they should ensure the car they are returning to someone actually starts. Someone should have started it up before I came, and they could have dealt with the issue then. Anyway, to the passerby it looks good and new. Looking closely, I see the misalignment. But I've let it go. Enjoying my car.Service: Body & Trim

Highly DO NOT recommend if you want your vehicle returned on the date that was promised. And if you want them to break something that didn't need to be replaced. My girlfriend dropped her car off early last week and just got it back(she was told 3-4 days).she was have some gouges in the back right quarter panel taken out and repainted. They pulled off her front bumper for some reason. It did have some cracks in it but DID NOT look this bad. They removed the bumper and tried to con her into getting a new one. Then put this mess back on after ripping it apart and making it 10x worse. They will be hearing from an attorney if this is not corrected asap

I brought my 2004 F-150 here to get painted and I was not disappointed. Nice metallic paint job, with all of the old stickers removed from the body (for a decent price as well).

Took my 1965 cutlass here for a complete color change paint job. They did an AMAZING job. I used to work at a body shop and I did all the cut and buff so I know what a good paint job is supposed to look like. They layed it out FLAT. It looks like I spent 10,000 for this paint job. Tim and Joe were great! They both understood what I wanted and didnt try to upsale me. Spend a little more money and get the extra coat of clear....you wont regret it. Macco for the win!!

I entrusted my high school car, a 1971 Pontiac to the good folks of Maaco on 8 mile I had been working on it for years, but needed pros to do the final cutting and welding on the quarters and the paint. I worked mainly with Joe, but everyone was very friendly, helpful, and honest. I am very happy with how it turned out. Maaco is one of the few shops that still does welding, and overall it was a great value and great experience.Services: Painting, Body & Trim, Welding

I had a great experience here! I needed the front end of my pilot painted. The staff members were professional and friendly on the phone and in person. They worked with me to get an unbeatable deal and got the job done in two days! I am so happy with how it turned out! They went the extra mile and delivered A+ service. All in all these guys did a great job repairing and painting my classic car!! I give them a 4.5 star rating. It would be a 5 but they forgot to re-bolt the tail light and it slipped out on the way home. No big deal but could have been tragic. Also some tape was missed. Like I say I am very happy with the over all job and have no problem recommending Macco to anyone!!

Brought in my 1991 F250 with lots of dents, dings , scratches, and a very patina two toned paint. Maaco did an excellent job with the body work, the paint looks shiny and new, only reason for 4 stars was a lot of overspray ended up on the bumpers, lights, and external plastics. The front seat was cleaned up but the back seat was very dusty. However, I am still very happy with the results

Absolutely superb service. I had two other collision shops quote me over $2000 to fix a portion of my passenger door which was painted the wrong color when I tried to fix some scratches. Maaco charged me $500 and had my car back to me within a few days. I can t thank you enough. My car door looks perfect. It s beautiful. Thanks again for doing such a great job.Service: Painting

Great job and great price. Color matched my truck to match newer 2016 bed and installed a pinstripe. Super shiny with the addition al clear coats !! I get so much attention and compliments are this truck it's too much I mean I wanted the truck to look sweet but sometimes it's silly all the attention this truck brings but the paint job really set this whole truck in motion. And I mean the truth is if you look really close at the truck and I mean Like really close... The truck looks nice!!!!

I bought the most expensive package for a key scrape on both front and rear door from an incident when my niece drove my car. I received my car back and when taking it for an oil changed I was asked who painted my car because they did a bad job, did not wet sand it. He showed me the swirl marks in the paint, there is a hand/finger prints, and the edges of the doors are rough. I took it back to show them, they apologized and asked that I bring it back to fix! It's been a year, I work every day. I was without my car for several days. I do not have time for the inconvenience! And all they could offer was an apology. I was referred here but would not go here again!

You are not gonna get expert perfect body work here. But I have taken several older cars there and they do a decent job. They make it look good. They make it look acceptable so I go there for my older cars. Prices are good compared to a high line body shop.
