Awful experience. Had my car for approximately a year. Brought it with 4 issues. They fixed 1. Said they fixed all of them. All lights returned. Paid just over $4000.00. The only thing that was actually fixed was the radio. Brought it back again. They had it for 4 more months. Original issues still not resolved. 3 months it sat again until they touched it. They replaced several parts thst had already been replaced. I told them they were already replaced. Yet they said the new parts must be bad. Guess that was wrong since nothing is fixed!! Do not take your car here!!!Service: Air conditioning

I had 2 problems with my car. Kirks fixed them both perfectly, and even though it required a new part and others would have padded the bill, they charged me only $37 dollars. I always appreciate their honesty.

Unsure of this place. They've been nice in past 2 experiences. But they also told us our Saturn Aura was not drivable, so we left it with them. Weeks later, we see it trundling down the road only to park at the business next to our house--every.day. So they sold it to someone else? After telling us it was a lost cause? And we know it's ours because the AMA sticker is still on the back bumper. I just don't feel good about this place anymore. I hope the person who ended up buying it isn't in a ticking time bomb. Sheesh.

Kirks worked on my car through warranty and they were excellent. They did a thorough inspection of my vehicle and made recommendations and repairs in a timely fashion. Will definitely use them again. The lady at the front desk is very nice and knowledgeable as well.

Had my first service experience with Kirk s and everything went very well. Very professional and friendly and I never felt like they were trying to sell me something I didn t need.going back soon with my other vehicle. Great Place!!

I live in northern Michigan and was traveling to my daughters, when my low tire pressure warning light came on. Ended up I must have picked up a screw going though all that construction. The guys at Kirks got me right in and put a really good patch plug combination in my tire. Great repair. Fast, friendly clean shop. I have worked on many cars in my life and I know good mechanics when I see them. I have already told my daughter I think she could get worry free work from them. If you live in the area, give them a try.

A fabulous experience from my first call to make an appointment to walking out the door after my oil change! Everyone is friendly, efficient and helpful. There wasn t any pushing me to get more work done than necessary either! I ll definitely be returning and recommending Kirk s Auto!EDIT 01/04/24 - ANOTHER *****5 star***** experience at Kirk s Auto - FarmingtonI called in the morning to get a new battery installed, added my oil change, then added new wipers after I got there. From my first call to getting my Explorer back, it was less than two hours! Again, everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, willing to answer questions. I see no reason to ever go anywhere else! Great customer service from start to finish!Service: Oil change

Came in for diagnosis on my Lexus' brakes. They got right to the point and let me know what needed service. Didn't end up taking the service this time around, but they always do good work whenever I do take them up.

Wonderful service AGAIN I had a coupon for a dealership oil change with a nice savings but decided to keep appointment with my Kirk s! It s nice to be a name versus a number when walking into a business!It s good to stay local!!

Kirks always takes great care. They get you an appointment as soon as possible and fix your vehicle at a fast and reliable pace! The staff is always friendly, honest and hard working. The owner holds the whole company accountable for a high level of integrity and extraordinary customer service. Car problems are always stressful, and kirks always makes the experience as painless as possible. Favorite shop in the state, by far! I had never even heard of Kirk s auto until Wednesday May 23, 2023! I am so happy that someone from Firestone sent me to them.The people that work at Kirks are amazing! As soon as I walked through the door, I was greeted with a warm smile by Paula. I was introduced to to Tom, he runs the shop. He is really a friendly guy. Then there s Thomas! He is one of the nicest people ever! He is very knowledgeable in his work as an electrical mechanic. He was installing an inverter and two batteries into my ice cream truck. He told me he had a couple questions for me and asked me to come with him to the truck. Thomas showed me where he d like to mount the inverter and showed me where he thought the best battery placement would be.I am very happy with his work, he even fixed my music box. I can t say enough about Thomas, he is an awesome young man!Let me tell you about Paula, we just seem to hit it off. We talked talked. And laughed together. I just can t say enough about her she is such a beautiful person with a beautiful heart to match. I have never in my whole entire lifetime gone into a shop and had the receptionist sit and talk with me the way Paula did. She sat next to me and we shared pictures of our children and talked about them basically until my truck was done. It was an amazing experience.I cannot recommend Kirk s auto enough. They they have easily earned 20 stars and they have gained a new customer.I highly recommend you take your vehicles to to Kirk s auto and get to know them as they fix your vehicle.P.S.Their chairs are extremely comfortable and they have cold bottles of water available for those who want a drink.

Came for my oil change and everyone was super friendly. The service advisor and front desk lady, Paula, was super nice and helpful!! She told me to help myself to a water bottle in their lobby fridge while I waited. It was a very good water. The service was done quickly and my car, Guinevere, is running great again. Thanks, guys! (Especially Paula. She s very sociable and easy to talk to. )Service: Auto maintenance

Wonderful, trustworthy people! Been going here for years. Great prices as well. Love this place! Just had my new tires put on and my oil change. They always make sure to let me know what my car needs without being pushy. I love Paula and Tom, they are very kind and friendly. When my battery light came on I drove the car right over to Kirk's. They were able to fit me in, diagnosed the problem, got the replacement alternator and fixed it the same day. Very friendly rep., reasonably priced. Great warranty. Very satisfied!

I came here for the first time to have my car serviced and Paula and her team were super quick and helpful getting my car maintenance done and getting my car back to me. I brought my truck in after my clutch failed & couldn t be happier with the service I received. I was only without my truck for a total of two days. The shop was very communicative & fair with the pricing. Definitely a shop worth going back to. Would highly recommend!

Highest recommendation! We've been bringing our vehicles here for quite awhile, and even to some of the same crew before the change. The team is honest, friendly & organized. I never worry when they recommend a service or feel pressured if I decline. I actually appreciate being able to get a few things taken care of at once. Great place.

I took my car to Kirks auto twice once in January and once in February they worked on my car all in one day and got it finished. Kirks auto did a great job and I feel really safe in my car now driving it. They did a great job with my brakes rotors and calipers. They also replaced about and fixed my key ignition in my car and gave me new keys. Thank you so much Kirks Auto. If I could leave a zero star rating I would. They had my car up there for four days to get the engine replaced or rebuild through my warranty company. The manager Tom did not even call the company he just let my car sit while giving me the run around. Then couldn't give a honest labor time. Every other shop said 10 hrs. He tells me he has no idea,which is odd for a business with ASE certified mechanics. He most likely was trying to figure out a way to get extra money from the warranty place . This place seems very sketchy and over priced compared to other shops in the area. They charge 135 an hour for labor,which is ridiculous. I would not recommend this shop to anyone.Service: General repairs & maintenance

They are the BEST!!!!! Talk about customer service They should train other places on how it s done RIGHT! They check your car, tell you what s wrong in terms you understand give you the total price and let YOU decide what you would like to do.They don t pressure you in to anything.There team is GREAT! Kirk's Auto Care is great. I had low tire pressure and was about due for oil change. Initially too busy for oil change so additional app't made for that. Turned out two tires were low. Then Tom said look, if you can wait, we will do everything now. They also repaired a tire sensor. It did take several hours but then I didn't have to come back. They are the best. Friendly, accommodating and reasonable costs. I highly recommend.Services: General repairs, Auto maintenance
