Love these guys. Been there a few times for lighter to heavier jobs, every time felt like I've been treated like a top customer even though I just came in off the street. Mo and the crew seem to always take care of me quickly, honestly, fairly, with good prices and excellent work! I'll be back there for sure when the time comes!

Sister took her car to shop and complained about a noise.Was told it needed a catalytic converter ($800.00) or they could add a flex pipe but couldn t guarantee it will fix the problem (exhaust leak).I went to the shop to see if they are addressing the real noise . Moe and I took it for a test drive. He suggested he flush the engine real good and add an additive.After flushing the engine and adding oil additive, in route home the car made a pop noise and lost acceleration. Oil started spilling from somewhere in the engine compartment. Had to get the car towed (will no longer turn over). Left message on business Square receipt app. Moe called later that evening after reading comment I left and asked what happened I told him he said it was nothing they did (I knew that was coming).He offered to return $50 of the $175.00 I spent for what was done. (I was very frustrated at the time of the call). I appreciate the gesture, but not in the frame of mind to receive it.My experience: Moe is a nice guy. The service is not good.Having the car towed to another shop to find out what really happened. Will update this post when I do.- note- before you respond with the There s no record of you being here at this shop I have the receipt

I was there a few weeks ago to replace a throttle body sensor he told me I also needed my gas battery replaced and my engine wasn t running correctly. So they charge me a $75 hook up fee told me it was $1000 to fix my car. I paid $400 still didn t get the throttle body sensor replaced and now my car will not start on me. I called the shop today to try to get it towed, the guy said he was calling the tow truck never called me back

These guys are AMAZING! Sam treats you like family and makes the process so quick and painless. He s worked on our vehicle twice and both times has been quick, friendly, and so kind. He even fixed my muffler free of charge and told me Happy Holidays, it s the giving season! Hello. SAM IS UNREAL! Im a serious car owner with 4 vehicles, 2 foreign and 2 domestic with a good mix of SUV s and Sedans. I have been all over Detroit and north including Farmington to find a competent, honest, personable, kind, trustworthy manager (Sam) - auto shop and group of mechanics. I also brought my vehicles to this location under previous management and name. While that service was good, in less than 6 months under new manager Sam, there was no comparison! Nothing compares to the way that it is now under the leadership of manager Sam. 5 sSam is accessible by phone. He will talk to you. He is straightforward. He also does not price gouge. He tells the truth, and he will repair your car for the lease possible price. Sam has even given me repairs at little to no charge because of the volume that I bring. Keep in mind they have to earn their money, but he is beyond fair. And on a personal note, when I ve had breakdowns, concerns and even needed a ride home, Sam responded and provided. I would look to trust no one else and I hope that the Total Car care organization reads this review. I can be called and I can cite examples. You can trust these guys 100%.

Super efficient, one of my rear shocks went bad and numerous other auto shops wouldn't help because I drive a Porsche and they weren't comfortable working on it. I was recommended by another auto shop to bring the car to Farmington Car Care. They ordered the part I needed and the day it came in they had the job done within hours. For all my future car needs I'll be coming back to Farmington Car Care, I can't speak highly enough of my first experience with them.

Shoutout to the guys for fixing my headlight this evening! I've been driving with it unlit for about a week now and went to so many places to get it out since it was pretty stuck... just happened to drive by and thought I'd run in and ask if they could help, and it took them all of 5 minutes (when others weren't even successful and spent 20+ minutes trying)! They were super sweet, and I appreciated the help even though I didn't have an appointment. Thank you thank you thank you!!

Sam is a very good man. He only took ownership of the business recently. Rack & Pinion, Rear Shocks, and front Rotors / Brakes. Did a perfect job and faster than expected. Very prompt, explains well, and HONEST. Also noticed something else another mechanic overlooked/missed. If another mechanic agrees, I will have Sam do this repair too. 100% A+

I highly recommend this company even for towing. I accidentally locked my keys in the car and after the first locksmith could not unlock the car, almost breaking the door handle, I requested for the car to be towed to my home. My insurance sent Total Car Care and the young man was able to unlock the car very quickly. he educated me on the fact that my car would need to be in neutral in order to be towed safely or I would have to request a different kind of tow truck if the car was able to be unlocked. I am very grateful. I could have been home about 2 hours earlier, had my insurance sent Total Care Care at first

I came to Michigan from Wisconsin and my vehicle gave out on me and was barely drivable and went to two mechanics one who charged me for a diagnostic but did nothing after assuring me he would get it done at the end of the day and another that said on Saturday they could do it and I drove down the street and found Mo and they really did a great and honest job on my vehicle and gave me realistic expectations,l was so stressed out after having a horrible event and a mild heart attack he was the bright light admist all the bad things that happened to me and did a great job and l left with a totally different vehicle.

Sam and his team are awesome. I came in with break issues this morning and was very worried about needing the car ready before 3 pm when my daughter gets let out of school. Sal assured me they could get it done so I could make it to the pick-up line. They diagnosed the issue right away and got me out the door 1.5 hours earlier than they expected.

Very supportive team. My license plate screws were very rusty and tough to loosened but one of the mechanics helped me without any resistance and when I tried to pay then he said, Thank you and Have a great day . Awesome team.

As a woman I like to say that I had a great experience at Total car Care, I've taken my car once before for work and was not disappointed of the turnaround time and this time it was very exceptional I thought I needed something major done to my car come to find out I didn't need anything and he didn't even charge for diagnostics. I really feel good as a woman to be able to go to a car repair shop and be able to trust that they aren't taking advantage of me.

In the world of Auto Mechanics it can be difficult to find honest professional workers. The guys at Total Cat Care Farmington Hills are excellent! They really took care of us and were very professional and reasonable in their work. Sam, at the front desk, showed me exactly everything that was wrong with our car and helped with pricing so that we could get back on the road asap! As our daily driver we needed this car and they delivered. Also even gave me some recommendations on future work. I would definitely come to them again and recommend them to anyone who asked.

DO NOT GO HERE. Tried taking advantage of my Grandmother and didn't fix the issue we presented for in the first place. When expressing our concerns Lina was extremely rude and dismissive.

Recently, my Dad was experiencing car (red pick up) trouble he called a tow truck, and his vehicle was taken to Total Car Care. The men that work here are amazing. Fortunately, he didn't need any work, but they didn't charge him either. He tried to tip them, but they would not accept the payment. We totally recommend this shop.

Excellent auto repair shop. I've had a handful of powertrain and suspension issues that were rectified at this facility. My most recent repair involved an entire engine replacement. They located and installed the engine all in a matter of weeks. These are very very very good men. I, embarrassingly, was at the self car wash near them and locked my keys in the car as only I could do. As a courtesy, they unlocked my car FOR FREE out of graciousness. They also probably saw the pure panic on my face. I will now be doing more business with them. Thank you gentlemen so much for literally being a blessing. I hope good things continue to come and I am looking forward to doing business with you in the future.

Great business, trustworthy employees. Had to have vehicle towed there, and they were thorough and honest. Peter was consistent with communication and very friendly. Vehicle had a sensor issue after we left the shop, and true to their warranty, they towed it back and repaired the sensor. HIGHLY recommend Total Car Car. Ask for Peter! :)Service: Transmission

We took our van to Total Car Care today, the guys there were very friendly, and happy to answer any of our questions. We received an estimate, we agreed and they got right to work. We had our van back that same day just hours later. My husband has been driving with zero heat, and the brakes needed to be changed. Total Car Care is the best price in town! Worst service ever. I was told that would get a full serice oil change for appro $80 or i could upgrade and get an oil made by mobile I agreed and the crew began to change my oil. They did not fill windshield wipers fluid, chaneck my air filter nor fill my tires. Instead they started and finshed an oil change on the other car using the highere level off oil made by Mobile. He paid $20. When I paid I asked about the difference annd I was told that costomer braught his own oil. When I recieved the recipt from my oil change it clearly stated that that was a lie. I got the other mans reciept and he paid for just the oil. Do not go to these rip off artist. I and i wonder what Penzoil would say to them selling Mobile oil in their shop? # badbusinessinfarmingtonhills.

I Purchased a couple of Groupons for an oil change. The prices were pretty reasonable. I got a free air filter with my oil change. My tires got air at 8:30 am and out by 8:50 a.m. Al's customer service was excellent. He's a cool guy; I will recommend them for your oil change needs. They do have a body shop that offers other services that one can benefit from, such as breaks, tune-ups, etc., but I'm sure going back for my oil change. I like Total Car Care Farmington.

Went to car dealership and was told that I needed new brakes but would be charged extra for a full inspection and even more for servicing. Read reviews for Total Car Care and decided to get a second opinion.Al and staff immediately inspected my brakes and explained my problem. Brought the car back the next day and service was completed within 2 hours on a Friday afternoon. Great service, professionalism and energy. Will return with future needs.Service: Brakes

I brought my car to them a while back after getting a really high quote with a competitor that told me I might be better off filing a claim. They were able to beat the price and got the work done same day. Today, new issue took it in this morning and within hours had it diagnosed and repaired. Not to mention they give me family vibes! Love the service and highly recommend them to anyone needing major or minor service work.Service: Steering & suspension repair

First off, I NEVER post reviews about anything. Al and Hassan are two of the nicest people I have met in this business PERIOD. I recently took my friends car in for headlight replacement and they were PROFESSIONAL, FAST and extremely HOSPITABLE. So much so that I took my vehicle in today and once again got the exact same treatment for my repair. I also can t imagine that their prices can be beat anywhere. My Alpha Romero had an issue (under warranty), and Alpha Romero selected Total Car Care Towing as the company that would be involved. The ticket was submitted at 9:30AM, and a text message was sent highlighting a 90 to 120 minute ETA wait. 2 hours later, another text, indicating another 60 minutes on ETA, followed by another and then another. After more than 5 hours, I finally fired them through Alpha.BTW, good luck getting a hold of someone, as their voicemail box is full (based on my experience, I now know what it is full of ). I wouldn t accept a free tow from this company as they were derelict in their duty, and notifying and managing expectations.I hope that Alfa Romero drops them as a towing provider.Service: Wiper blade installation

This is the second time I've taken a car there. Once for my elderly mother, and once for me. Sam was honest and on point with the diagnosis and the repair work.
