So I enjoyed my experience at first but after I got it home (1.5 hours away one way) I noticed that between the seats was filthy with pet hair. I specifically asked my salesman if the car was detailed and he assured me it was. After leaving a negative review, they called and asked me to bring it in and they would detail it for me. The problem with this is that I live 3 hours away round trip. They said they would pay for my gas and though I appreciate that, the reality is, I m not taking off a whole day to have my car detailed. The reality is it should have been done before selling the car. So I went ahead and detailed it myself, removing the seats and doing what should have been done to begin with. What s sad, is that an extra 30-45 minutes worth of time by their detail team would have been the difference between a two star review and a five star review. Let s be honest, they probably pay their detail guys less than $20/hr. So they were willing to take a chance on selling a car and receiving a two star review because they were unwilling to pay someone $20 to detail the car properly, so sad. Especially when you pay $28,888 for a vehicle. Posted are before and after pics.

Had a very bad experience at this dealership, took my Avalon 2022 to this place to fix passenger seat noise that was making every time I move the seat backwards. First of all, they ordered the part for me and told that I should receive a phone call once the part is arrived, more then a month later I called, they said sir your part been here for 28 days great, no communication!. Took my car to get it fixed , they didn t even fix it, BUT they made a scratch on my steering wheel! AND surprisingly my passenger seat belt is messed up now, the seat belt sign was ON and it kept beeping even tho there is a nothing on the seat. I had to take it back twice to fix their mistakes, seat belt was fixed but the scratch looks like just got trimmed and painted, you can tell the difference. If you make a mistake/break something , you should fix it to how it was before. Please avoid this place if you have other options.

I just went through and turned in my lease on Saturday and worked with John Hall. He was able to get me into a brand new lease with no issues at all. John is a true asset to the dealership and needs to have a raise. I would recommend John Hall to anyone that needs to buy a new vehicle.Abdul Levy started the process with me and he was so easy to work with. The team on Abdul and John is true dynamite. Please go see them to buy your next vehicle.

My daughter brought her car into the dealership for repairs. The advisor quoted her a beginning estimate of $12,002.61 and told her to expect it to be more by the time they were done. They also offered her $3,000-$4,000 to buy the car.We had the car towed to Ohio, where we live and had ALL the same repairs with a 1 year warranty for $2,800.Literally $10,000 less. This dealership tried to scam my daughter, who I'm sure seemed like a good target, out of $10,000. Thank God we had it towed here and repaired by a reputable shop. This dealership is unethical.

Everyone always treats me like a valued customer. I love that about them. My SUV is always washed without asking and they re very accommodating. After working a midnight shift one morning, the dealership scheduled for my truck (oil change) to be picked up and dropped off. I got to relax after work instead of waiting at the dealership

We had a very positive experience at this dealership! Mari and Michael were professional and helpful. We would recommend them both to anyone looking for their next toyota. We recommend calling first, the car we ended up purchasing was not yet posted online, with little notice, Mari got the car ready for us to test out! Michael went out of his way to look at some of our cosmetic concerns with the vehicle and was able to get one of the scratches out himself! Thank you Michael and Mari!

After much research, I decided I wanted a Rav4 Prime, however they are crazy limited and nearly a year long wait time in this area. But I had never driven a Toyota and wanted to make sure of my decision. So my wife and I came into Suburban Toyota and Sylmari showed us some Rav4 and Highlander models since I was in between on size and features. He reviewed the features of each model and let us test drive them both.Just wanted to say thank you to Mari for your time and service - even though you didn't have the Prime I wanted (through no fault of your own), you solidified my decision to purchase a Toyota. Because of that, I recently traveled to Buffalo, NY and am the proud new owner of a Rav4 Prime SE today. You won't be getting any commission, but you really helped make the sale. A true brand ambassador. Thank you, Mari.

We had a very positive experience at Suburban Toyota in Farmington. Our 2021 Highlander Hybrid purchase involved a trade-in of our 2013 Highlander, which we were given a fair price for. Our new pre-owned car was detailed and ready to go when we arrived. The finance process was handled efficiently, and our salesman, Issa, took the time to go through the vehicle's features and electronic operations, which was very helpful.

Purchased a vehicle tonight and worked with a gentleman named Slymeri (Mari!) He was friendly, patient, funny, personable, professional, efficient and I can t say enough good things! It made the car shopping experience actually kind of fun instead of just stressful. I highly recommend going to him for sales! I m not a Toyota person but if I was I would go back to him! I will see if they have anything on their lot I like for my next purchase for sure!

I had a horrible experience in my past and bought a lemon with my last car. This place was the complete opposite. Sylmari was honest and straight to the point. He even asked if I could leave off the lot and let my mechanic give me the green light before purchasing. He really knew exactly what I was looking for without me not even knowing where to start. He lead the way because I was lost and he did a fine job from beginning to end. Nick in finance was incredible, he wasn t pushy when I declined an add on. He was persistent but made me feel in control of what I wanted to add on. Everyone was friendly and the host was pleasant. This place felt like family and I highly recommend getting your vehicles new or used from here. Thanks guys!! :)Sylmari, make sure that coffee machine working next time I come buy from you ;)

The Suburban Toyota Dealership of Farmington Hills is one of the best dealers I've worked with. They offered me better prices than other surrounding Toyota dealerships. Everyone I spoke with at this dealership was kind and knowledgeable. My salesperson, Dontae, helped me throughout the entire car buying process and stayed late at the dealership to ensure I was satisfied with my visit. On the financing team, Nick answered all of my questions and also explained the optional add-ons in a way that makes sense to people. I'm happy with my new RAV4, so it's no surprise it's the best-selling model in the world.

The only reason I'm giving this to is because Mickey Zoellner is a good salesman. But the bigger problem is the finance department trying to rip me off. I had a agreed-upon price with the salesman with no warranties and when I went to sign . I noticed $6,000 in warranties added on to my bill. Snuck on there by Mr Nicholas Rowe. And when I stated that I did not want it he was trying to come up with every reason on the planet why I needed $6,000 worth of warranties with a high interest rate just so he can make a small commission. Toyota is a great product, but when going to the dealership make sure to be careful and read what you are signing for before you Finance

I went to the dealership to discover the payoff amount for my nine month old Camry. I left having bought a brand new Camry for the same price! Thank you Suburban Toyota, especially Khristian and Alex!

This has been one of the absolute worst experiences of my life. I have had my car now for going on 4 months and have had to take it to a mechanic 4 times. I wasn't crazy about buying my car "as is" but Issa was very good with assuring me that if anything happened that he wouldn't leave me hanging. Boy, was I fooled. The first time it broke down was when I left the dealership. He had me bring it back and gave me a loaner car for a few days. That made me feel like he was telling me the truth. I was wrong. The next time it broke down he told me to take it to a Chevy dealership for some diagnostics. They couldn't even see me for over a month. So, I would have no car to drive. I took it instead to my own mechanic and they replaced the same coil that the dealership had supposedly replaced the first time it broke down. It worked fine for about 3 weeks. Had to take it in again for issues with it overheating. Now, I can't even get anyone to call me back with all of the other problems I have had. Issa took advantage of someone who really needed a car and put their trust in him. I know there are a lot of people who can afford cars and trucks that would make him a lot more money but I trusted him enough to give him everything I had on the assurance of him helping me should anything happen to the car. I definitely learned my lesson about trusting people. I only have one more thing to say. Shame on you Issa and shame on you Suburban of Farmington Hills.

It was a very nice experience and I am enjoying my new Toyota Camry now. I called them last Wednesday and Garrett answered me. I was looking for a Corolla adding optional blind spot detection function. We talked about different options like order one from the maker (it will take 8 weeks so I do not want to wait), or have a third party to install it for me. I worried about the possible issue and would like to keep Camry with blind spot detection as an option. He reminded me a Camy is more expensive and give me quote though it was a little bit off his working hours. In our appointment last Saturday I told him my original plan is to buy a small car to save money and gas, also my garage is small. He pulled in numbers to show me that a Camry is very efficient and my Ford fusion 2013 is actually slightly wider. This definitely convinced me to move to a Camry. He recommended a Camry with promotion and color I like. Before the test drive I was curious about the ECO button, did not expect him to explain but he just started do it. Since there was already promotion we spent 5 minutes to lower the monthly payment and locked a deal quickly. He offered to deliver the car to my home then was surprised how close it is. Even the check out process was speeded up after I told him that my son has tennis class in the afternoon. I promised a 5 star review and here it is.

Went to buy a used vehicle here and even had an out the door price on the vehicle I wanted. For 2 days I talked with Robert Guthrie I am talking to him Thursday evening 12/21/2023 by Email and asked him to draw up a contract for the price I was quoted after he sent me the deal he put together by text at 6:20 PM with TTL and doc fees. Then he Emailed me at 9:00 AM this morning to tell me he sold the car at 7:00PM Thursday, not 40 minutes after he sent the deal to me in text. They close at 8:00 PM so if you do the math they got a contract drawn up, finance resolved TAX TITLE INSURANCE and delivery in less than 40 minutes. Record time Robert? The average time it takes to buy a car is 2 hours and 50 minutes. That means you had to be selling it to someone else even as we negotiated and you didn't even bother to mention this anytime during our conversations. Not one word. Way to go Robert ! Be very careful dealing with this rickshaw dealership. The good news, I might have dodged a bullet with this shady outfit. I was actually looking for 3 vehicles not just the one. I'll buy my 3 vehicles at a more reputable dealer,

Vehicle: RAV4Year: 2022Miles purchased: 7 milesMiles on car: 8457 milesVehicle was under warranty(bumper to bumper & powertrain)Root cause: lack of lubrication on pistons from manufacturerVehicle was taken to Suburban Toyota of Farmington hills July 20th(5pm). When dropping of the vehicle I gave service rep a copy of the diagnosis from Victory Toyota of Canton . During the visit, three requests were made:Status update: Once a diagnosis was reached, the agreement was that they would get in touch with me, and provide a status update, and keep me informed if any parts needed to be ordered. This understanding was confirmed by both the service rep. and general manager. Unfortunately this process did NOT unfold as expected. Diagnosis was made early in the morning, yet Suburban Toyota Farmington hills made no efforts to contact me phone/text/email. Despite my four attempts to call their service line, I was unable to reach them, encountering either dropped calls or direct transfer to voice message. Finally on fifth attempt, I decided to call the new sales and requested to be transferred to the service department, which is when I was able to speak with someone. They informed that a diagnosis had made been made and necessary parts were ordered. Regrettably Suburban Toyota of Farmington Hills failed to uphold their end of the agreement and neglected to keep me informed about the status of my vehicle. When inquiring about a trade in for the vehicle, general manager was unwillingly to proceed with the trade-in process. He expressed that the vehicle required significant repairs. Even though the vehicle had been diagnosed by their staff, general manager was well aware that the vehicle had lost all of its value due to the needed repairs.During this time(July 20th ), a loaner vehicle was requested, but both the service rep. and general manager informed me that they did not have any remaining loaners available. Even though the vehicle had already been inspected by a certified Toyota dealership and they were aware of its status, they made no effort to provide me with a loaner car. On July 22nd, I re-visited the dealership to request a loaner vehicle since the diagnosis had been made. However, they remained unwillingly and refused to provide to provide me with a loaner. The general manager explained that the due to the open cases with Toyota Brand Engagement Center: they needed approval from them to provide a loaner under warranty term.In response to the situation, a phone call was made to Toyota Brand Engagement Center to report that the dealership was not granting me a loaner. Toyota Brand Engagement Center assured me that issue would be documented and reviewed by a case manager to assess the situation. On July 24th I revisited the dealership once a again requesting a loaner, and general manager stated that a loaner would be available on July 25th through enterprise.Days I was without a loaner (July 20-July 24)During the July 22nd visit, I requested a diagnosis report from the dealership. However, they failed to provide the report and instead handed me a paper with bunch of alarm codes without any detailed explanation or analysis. The service manager wrote there is internal mechanical engine failure .The vehicle was in the shop for 27 days. As a customer this experience has caused me to lose confidence in both Toyota and Suburban Toyota of Farmington Hills .

Working with Essa Naalbandyan was terrific! He was patient and I truly felt he was working for me to get the best price. When I needed to think about it overnight, he gave me the space I needed. He responded to my call right away and made the leasing process smooth as silk. I would work with him in a minute! The entire dealership was easy to deal with. I would recommend them if you're looking for a new Toyota!

My wife recently had an experience at Suburban Toyota of Farmington Hills that has left us with mixed feelings. While the service itself was satisfactory, the dealership's approach to adding on extra services without clear communication raises concerns. My wife had gone in for a routine service, and to her surprise, she was presented with a list of additional services that were neither requested nor needed. Feeling uneasy about the situation, she promptly called me to discuss the proposed extras. Upon reviewing the list, it became apparent that many of these services were unnecessary. This kind of upselling tactic not only creates an uncomfortable atmosphere for customers but also raises questions about the dealership's integrity. Customers should be able to trust that the recommended services align with their vehicle's actual needs rather than being driven by a desire for additional revenue. While the actual work performed on the vehicle was satisfactory, the lack of transparency in suggesting unnecessary services detracted from the overall experience. We would appreciate it if Suburban Toyota of Farmington Hills focuses on open communication and ensures that customers are only recommended services that are genuinely required. In the future, we hope Suburban Toyota of Farmington Hills takes a more customer-centric approach, respecting the client's decisions and clearly communicating the necessity of any additional services. This would contribute significantly to building trust and satisfaction among customers.

This dealership sold me a used Volvo 2019 S60. At first, everything seemed fine, however, I quickly found out that they tricked me into buying an extended warranty without informing me that the Volvo already had another year or two of original warranty left from the previous owner. The finance (Nick-beware of this person) person lied about the interest rate and did not share half of the information with me during the signing process. Before I signed the purchase, I requested maintenance (inspection) of the vehicle. I was presented with the report, and brakes were the ones, amongst other things, that I wanted to make sure there was life on it. The inspection report from the dealership captured over 50% of brake life left; however, when I took the vehicle to the Volvo dealership next door (after purchase), they informed me that the rear brake pads are at 2% life. I was also informed by the Toyota Suburban dealership that they do not have a technician for Volvo vehicles even though I purchased their extended warranty. The service manager was pretty rude and careless, not even wanting to talk to me about the vehicle or take it in the service. I met with the regional manager and expressed dissatisfaction with my experience, and service department, but nothing was done. I followed up with the regional manager via email but did not respond.Taking the vehicle to the Volvo dealership was an eye-opener of how many wrong things are on the car, from brakes to spark plugs (about $3500 in repairs). Suburban Toyota of Farmington is not a place I would recommend for anyone, especially when buying used vehicles. I thought that Toyota was a great car company, but I lost the trust in the dealership that should represent this company. I could write about a lot more about them, but it is not worth the time; simply be careful dealing with these people.

I have never experienced this quick, convenient and smooth car purchase in my life. The day after we got pre approved by our bank. I inquired for a Rav4 XLE then their sales team contacted me immediately.Shout out to Joseph Lehr. He was the best sales person I have ever met. We told him what we wanted and immediately he find the best a match. He is straightforward, affable and super approachable. Also, he keep us posted every time. Even weekends and past working hours. We processed everything through the phone and just waited for our car to arrive in the dealership store.Just a couple of days later Jospeh told us the great news. Then we picked up our car. People there was all nice. We didn t even waited for the whole day to release the car because Joseph process all the requirements beforehand. couple of hours later we got our brand new car with a new license plate.Best decision. No regrets. Surely, will do another car deal with Joseph Lehr and with Suburban Toyota Farmington in the future!

The best Toyota dealership in the area. I was getting ready to head out of town for a family emergency when my tire light alerted me it was low. I contacted the dealership to see if they could check it out before I left to go out of town. They were able to get me in before the end of the day. I ended up needing my tire replaced, I was in and out of the dealership within an hour.

They replaced my battery, but took 28+ hours to do so. 48 hours after my appointment time I decided to call them and see what the deal was because I hadn't heard anything and they said they (allegedly) texted me the day before that my vehicle was ready. I have no calls and no texts and the Toyota link says they're still on their finishing touches. For a battery?! And Roger was a real treat. I asked him why the price decreased from what I signed for and his reply was, "well I can increase the price if you want." He did not answer my question, but instead provided a rude and shady response. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone. Page in Southfield is better.

We just got our first SUV from here a few monthsago, and it was such an easy and stress-free experience with the help of Joe and Robert. The whole transaction was completed online even before we went to personally inspect the car, and every step was smooth and easy even while still hundreds of miles away in Iowa. Abdul was also of great help in resolving a concern I had regarding the Toyota certified pre-owned vehicle certificate for our SUV. These three gentlemen ensured we had great customer service at this dealership. Thedealership also ensured the SUV had an oil change, and detailed the car for us prior to our departure. I highly recommend this dealership toanyone in the market for any vehicle, they keep to their words!

BE SURE TO LOOK AT YOUR CONTRACT THOROUGHLY! I've heard about salesmen being shady, but I didn't know I had to also watch out for the finance guy. They straight up lie to add to your contract hoping that you're ignorant and don't pay attention to the numbers.I was under the impression that I was receiving a good deal with adding items, like the components package, wheel and trim, and oil package. I went home and looked at my contract and realized that the price of these items were far more than what he said. I contacted the dealership the following business day expressing that I wanted to cancel my contract. The level of communication is honestly an utter disappointment. I have tried countless times to contact the dealership. I've left many, emails, calls, and voicemails. I have spoken with several individuals who have promised different timelines to resolve the issue and no one has fulfilled their promises of communication and no resolution has been made. After speaking with the general sales manager in person, he promised to have my issue resolved in 2 days and that he would personally contact me via phone or email to confirm that it's been resolved. It's been over a week and a half and he refuses to return my voicemails or fulfill the timeline that he set.I didn't want to leave a bad review. I wanted to resolve this situation, but here I am almost a month later and I still haven't heard back from Toyota regarding amending my contract.UPDATE: Since getting in contact with Abdul, I received immediate attention in resolving the situation. When we came in to sign the new contract, Abdul gave us his full attention and treated us kindly. He addressed my issue of feeling like I was wronged and apologized for the lack of communication. I walked away from the dealership feeling a lot better.

I dont write or post reviews but this one needs to be addressed. I had an amazing costumer service from Roger and one person in the service dept. They went above and beyond my expectations. I picked up my sunvisor that i ordered online at the FH location and I asked Roger if they can install it for me WITHOUT appointment. Lo and behold he made it happen for me PLUS free of charge AND a free car wash. Thank you Roger for making your costumer happy!Highly recommended Suburban Toyota of FH!
