Pep Boys is GREAT!!! I will always take my vehicles to them.. They have always been great in their service, very professional, polite, respectful, and very caring to their customers. They have always worked with me and explained to me in detail about the problem I am having I highly recommend them for any kind of service I have always been very satisfied

Appreciate the customer service of Travis, didn't care for the mechanics that inspected my car. I got quoted over $800 to replace my front tires and front brakes and I looked at Travis and the rest of the mechanics like they're stupid. I also asked them if my brake pads were fine and they also tried to sell me on getting my rotors done when only the brakes have to be replaced. I went ahead and let Travis sell me a tire package so I can leave soon from here. It really doesn't matter where you go to get serviced they see a woman and automatically expect the woman to accept the payment at face value. I'll never pay anyone $800 to redo my brakes and rotors no matter how long you been in business.

I had a good experience at the Farmington Hills Pep Boys. They had the best price on the tires I needed. They had the inventory in stock. They honored the expected installation time. I would definitely recommend them.

I took my car in to have the bulbs for my headlights changed. I also inquired about a fuel system cleaning due to the age and mileage of my car. I had that service done and my car is faster now. The Farmington Hills location is the only location I take my car to. They are always helpful and knowledgeable about different car issues. They are HONEST about me not having them perform unnecessary services on my car.

I made an appointment for an oil change on a Sunday at the Pep Boys I usually go to but they called late Friday afternoon saying they were going to be closed on Sunday. So, I found this Pep Boys location and made an appointment for Sunday expecting them to call to cancel as well. To my delight, they were open when I went by and they provided excellent and quick service! I definitely recommend this location for oil changes!

I went into this store because I got a flat tire, I didn't know what to do and saw the sign so I pulled in. I was immediately helped and taken care of. They put my spare tire on so quickly so I could get back on the road for work, they were so nice and didn't take advantage at all! They didn't even charge for the service, I was out of there within minutes. Thanks to Chris and Michael!!

Farmington is always the best location to go to! They r always polite and Nick always check in on you and always give updates! He knows me pretty well! I don t go in complaining nor for the wait time. He knows me well! So he try his best to get my vehicle done and done right! Thumbs all the way! Great job Pep Boys-Farmington location

It s bad behaviorI have appointment for change oil as walk in at 12 o clock from CarAdvise National AccountAnd the cashier said need two or three hours moreThen when I come again after three hours he said I m busy right now I have four carsWhen I told him, you said come after three hours, he denied and said I told you just need two hours for do oil changeAnd he never be polite and never say sorry or (it s confusing) or just smile in my face he always aggressive.Today on Friday mar/15/2024

I went online to purchase tires thru them so I would not waste time in going and getting uncharge for them. On the website it gives options to pay in store, or pay online. So I first decide to pay in store. So I ser up my order and proceed ro the store. I called in advance to make sure they had tires on hand and they did. When I arrived I was told first I had to purchase 4. I didn't need 4. Then I was told if they are not the ones installing them, I had to pay cash for them. So I said I'll come back next day and get then because I wanted to put on my credit card. So I went back online, paid for them got order number and had all my info and they still would not allow me to get my tires. Called police on me because he said I was trying to scam them out of 2 tires after i showed him my reciept. So now I am out of 265. I don't want to cancel payment on my card because that would make me look like I was trying to scam them. I should have read the reviews before I went to Farmington location.

The price wasn't terrible. The fact that they're open on Monday is great, but their customer service. Especially Nick back in the service department, no. I was on hold for 10 minutes with the store I actually drove to the store While still on hold to find Nick sitting there on a different phone line looking for a part or something I'm a customer, I'm the one actually waiting to talk to customer service. About a job, I'm trying to come and pay for. Hes trying to find a part. He kept me on hold for over 10 minutes. And kind of gave me an attitude about it. Granted, I had a attitude when I came in. Because that's terrible customer service. While I was waiting to pay for the job. He never even acknowledged myself. Or my dad standing at the counter. Unless I absolutely had to I would probably never use thispep boys again

I went to the pep Boys on Grandriver and 8mile in Farmington Hills. To purchase a battery from the service department they were very helpful and polite and they had the best price. I would recommend them it's not the first time I've used them bought that battery and it lasted 4 years, when my other car vehicle battery had to be replaced after 3yrs and it was supposed to be the better battery...after this purchase I'm looking forward to another worry free 4yrs with this battery.

This is the second time I've gotten my tire rotation from this location and I'm very impressed. They've prioritized getting my work done quickly, even though it's a free service. Really appreciate all that you do and will be back!

My family has been using this Pepboys location for quite some time and we always have great and timely service. The manager Nick is very polite and professional and he always goes above and beyond to help us with our automotive needs.

It was a little bit of slow start getting greeted but someone on the retail side got someone for me. The service manager Nick was attentive and educated me about getting tires on my car. I was ready to come in and knew what I wanted but getting more info made me more comfortable about my decision. Service was fast and I was very pleased with my purchase.

NEW UPDATE BELOW ORIGINAL REVIEW.Customer Service!Service manager Kevin was phenomenal.He took the time to talk with me regarding my vehicle, was not rushed, and gave me a deal that could not be beat. He is not mechanical in his demeanor or manner, but is professional & outgoing. He spoke to me in terms I could understand. He will receive my business again because of this experience.Also, Chris, the Service Tech/Sales Rep was professional and Courteous. He was well organized with his scheduling (calling a day before my appointment), upfront, & thorough.Yes, I will be back!Thank you Kevin & Chris!You represent Pep Boys well.Update:September 21st, 2019J.D., the New Manager, took excellent care of both my wife s van and my Jeep. In particular, I m thinking about my wife s van right now.There was an issue with one part (not their fault) (a dealer only part) that mistakenly wasn t relayed to me the last time I was having another part replaced, so he ended up having the part ordered & put in free of charge for us without drama. That, my friends, is customer service and that is why I keep coming back to J.D. s shop.You can trust him & his crew with your vehicle. I'm not sure why pepboys has appointment times, my "appointment times" have NEVER been honored, not even close, my last appointment time was 9am, my car actually wasn't serviced until the next day, pepboys should do away with appointment times and save themselves the bad reviews, I'm in the process of finding another shop to go to, I'm done.

Josh was very pleasant to talk with. He took his to explain all the things going on with my vehicle. He assured me that all was addressed with my vehicle and not to hesitate to contact him if needed. He didn't take advantage of me at all and I greatly appreciate his attentiveness to address all of my concerns. Josh deserves a raise & customer satisfaction recognition. Thanks again Josh!

Usually I make it a point to walk out of any establishment that does not greet me and makes me feel invisible. But I choose to stay while the staff spoke amongst themselves. My dad had to intervene and get us service. I just got a new set of tires and was coming in for a wheel alignment. Was told it would take 3 hours which blew my mind. Went home and they called 45 mins later that it was ready. Once I left the car pulled to the left had them check it out once again by which instead of taking accountability they proceeded to tell me my car had other issues. What did I pay $99 for?? Ended up taking my car to bell tire which gave us excellent service, did the wheel alignment and didn t find anything else wrong! They got the job done. Pepboys will never receive a penny from me again.

I arrived at my appointed time, they were ready and pulled my car in for an alignment check. Diagnosed the problem, gave me different options, explained the scope of work, the price, and warranty info, for each option. I made my choice and they completed my repair in just over an hour. Fair pricing, comfortable waiting are, friendly people.

The crew at the location on 8mile in Farmington Hills was absolutely amazing. They were able to get me in on July 4th and have my car ready for me same day. There was a lot of work for to be done on the car and they got it done!! They truly made my day!!

The guys there were great. Made me feel good about leaving my car there and the service was great. I was even told to test drive it and confirm there were no issues before I left. I'll go back for sure.

Dropped my vehicle off at 10 am on a Saturday. Desk attendant took down my information and said they would update me within a few hours. By 5 pm I had not received an update so I tried calling and was put on hold for 15 minutes. I tried calling again a few more times but was put on hold each time. Finally I had to drive to the shop to ask for an update in person, at which point I was told my vehicle wasn't even looked at. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time with this repair shop. Unresponsive and unprofessional.
