100% impressed with LaFontaine Volvo. When I called to inquire about a vehicle, I was lucky to get Kyle on the phone who had the vehicle pulled around and ready to test by the time I arrived. He was extremely knowledgeable about luxury vehicles and just as excited and enthusiastic about the purchase as we were.They really don't have any bad products on the lot, so they are able to let the cars do the selling! This leaves the staff time to be personable and show an effort to get to know you outside of the your vehicle interest. Somehow, we were all talking about our pets we love and vacations we've taken - not the typical car purchase experience. The folks at LaFontaine clearly take pride in the service and standard they offer.We were able to get a really fair deal and leave feeling delighted and excited - a far cry from our last vehicle purchase! This was all thanks to the kindness and professionalism of Kyle, Blake and the other fantastic folks at LaFontaine. Absolutely wonderful dealership to work with. I purchased a vehicle from out of state and they made it an easy experience, even with a few hiccups(no fault of theirs). My salesperson Lacey Skinner was awesome and communicated really well and made sure we were able to get the deal done and I was able to bring one of my dream cars home. Our sales professional Anthony Novara was fantastic. We came in on a Saturday afternoon, he had the vehicle ready for us when we arrived and we were able to finalize the purchase on Monday and made the process as easy as possible. I would highly recommend him. I cant say enough about his professionalism and following up with me after the purchase.

Quick, friendly service while getting my tire replaced! I was kept up to date, every step of the way, including video inspection, email and phone calls! They were even able to bring the car to me since I was home the whole time!

I purchased my first car and I couldn t have had a better experience. I initially found my car online, messaged for more information and I received an email back within an hour or less. Started process on a Thursday and took my car home on Monday. Steven was very informative, communicative, and put our needs first. Dealership was very clean and process was fast! Highly recommend!

Came in @ 10:30 am for my 2013 Volvo XC60 scheduled Oil Change appt @ 11:00 . Didn't get out the shop till almost 2:00 pm. Although they always do a good service, but too long of a wait for an Oil Change. Austin always provide a good service.

I work in customer service as well and I want to say that I had a great experience with this place. I worked with Kyle (Assistant Manager) to secure my trade in and get a new car. Trade in value was high, service was exceptional. Service needs to do something so they are giving me a rental car to drive while it has some stuff done to it. Can t be more grateful. I will definitely be back with my fianc� and will recommend Kyle to anyone who asks me about my car!

Brought my vehicle in for an electrical problem that caused a number of messages on the dash. Same issue had happened over a year ago and they fixed it by reprogramming a sensor. This time, they quoted me for 5 different problems even though I was insistent it was a singular problem, I eventually ended up giving in knowing it was just a quote.After they had my vehicle for a week, I contacted them for an update, seemed like nothing was done yet. After a week and a half reached out again, was informed it was probably my battery. Reached out again three days later to find out the technician had just told the service advisor two to three hours prior to my call that it was a bad battery and he was going to call me the following day. Had them change the battery and got a call the next day that my vehicle was ready for pick up but it had developed a hood latch issue while the vehicle was in their possession. Never had an issue before with the hood latch, but they could fix for $1k.Non-existent customer service and avoidance of any responsibility for damages done. Worst service department I ve ever encountered.

I originally left a 4 star review but after having a frustrating time dealing with the service department I've decided to change my review.My sales process when purchasing my used (2020 S60) vehicle was really smooth and my salesperson was responsive during the process. Finance was knowledgeable and extremely helpful as well.Then things took a turn. Less then 1k miles after purchase I had to take my car in for issues that should have been taken care of during the CPO inspection. Service did a full diagnosis and gave me a whole list of things trying to upsell me more maintenance that didn't need to be done. They took forever to diagnose as well, even though I set an appointment weeks in advance and it was a simple issue. I ended up denying all the service, picking up my vehicle. I will take it to a small local shop with service advisors I can trust, not ones trying to upsell me and that cannot properly explain the extra maintenance that needed to be done.P.S. LaFontaine dealers have been a joke so far, I've laughed out loud at the fact that I know more about vehicle features than the salespeople (different locations) and service departments that don't know how to communicate (multiple locations).

We recently purchased our Volvo certified pre-owned XC90 with the courteous, prompt, and professional help from Kyle. We drove from out of state and he was able to have the vehicle ready and waiting for our no pressure test drive. He answered all our questions and was able to guide us through the process quickly and as previously discussed. We do not hesitate to recommend the team at LaFontaine Volvo. Thank you

The service department at LaFontaine is abysmal. So much so we won't be buying another new car from this dealership anytime soon. We have purchased two XC90's from the dealer and both have had serious warranty issues (stop start failing and leaving us stranded in the middle of a highway - and on this newer one the heater failing completely in December). Both cases we needed to get Volvo corporate involved in order to get our vehicles fixed. We go days with no response. No loaner vehicles even for cars with <1 year old and warranty defects. No response from the sales manager or dealership manager until corporate gets involved. This most recent time they had the car for a week before they even diagnosed the issue, it has now been a month with a car with no heat and no call back to numerous messages left at the dealership. When we talked to the staff they said they are chronically understaffed and 'accept appointments even though they know they can't get to the vehicles." LaFontaine's automated customer service line won't put you through to a person at the dealership to get an update. Absolutely terrible dealership and shame on LaFontaine Group for refusing to address this. Service here as been like this for the last 4 years but because they're the only close Volvo dealership they stay in business.

My reception to service was very good; everything explained and I was shown to the waiting area. Comfortable, but quite loud-radio and television competing with one another made it difficult to think!When service was completed I paid and was shown to my vehicle, which was in a sea of Volvo s in the front lot. Not much room to navigate around. I was led (squeezed) between two cars to reach mine and hit my knee squarely on a tow hitch thing, which sent scorching pain up and down my leg!LaFontaine maybe you should consider your clients well being, while in your care!

Overall, great place and customer service, but there are some areas to work on and improve. What I ve experienced is a miscommunication in regards what I wanted in regards of parts, in my case was the tires and I wanted a certain model but got a different one which cost higher and didn t notice till after I walked out.Also, the wheels ended up with a lot of scratches around the center area and the edges with a lot of tire installation material left behind, not properly cleaned after working on them.

LaFontaine Volvo helped put my husband and I in a beautiful used car off their lot, my husband had been searching for weeks, after some very helpful and informative texts and emails from our salesman Steven Hung , we made the drive to Farmington to give it a test drive, well we fell in love, and because of all of Steve s hard work we were able to drive it home, very professional dealership highly recommend all your Volvo needs, and a possible used gem on their lot, Well done steve

I had quite the experience with the service department for my 2024 Polestar 2. Long story short; I ran over a tire and dealt with a poorly managed local body shop. Ryan and Craig in parts took the brunt of the annoyance from the body shop. Regardless, everything was done correctly and while it took quite some time, it was completed. Only complaint is that even during annoying situations, I expect to be treated with kindness and a genuine concern for my need as a customer. While my need was eventually met, the kindness was not always prevalent from Ryan in the parts dept. I understand there was a lot of back and forth between the body shop and Ryan at La Fontaine service, but I was often brushed off as not important and/or given single word answers before being hung up on.In short, overall, it was a positive experience. Just a little fine tuning to the service department s attitude would be very appreciated. Thank you Matt for straightening everything out in the end!!

Emiliano was great handling all of my questions and ensured delivery of the vehicle went smooth. Blake made the paperwork easy and quick so I was in an out faster than I ve ever been. Overall very satisfied with the level of service and absolutely love the car.

Took my Volvo to La Fontaine Farmington Hills and had wonderful service. Christian Rayes my service advisor was absolutely a pleasure to work with. He knew exactly what to do and delivered my vehicle as promised. He is extremely efficient, knows about the vehicle and very pleasant to work with. He gave me his card and said to call with any questions or concerns. Excellent service and would highly recommend. Thank you!

I called Kyle Wusenich at 9 am on the Monday after the Super Bowl relative to a car from the dealership website. I asked for some information and he responded very quickly. I then made an offer over the phone and we reached agreement pending me driving the car. After driving the car at noon, I completed the transaction and was on my way. Couldn t be more pleased.

Great service. �n and out in 1hour. Lucky or not, but i was able to schedule a visit in 2 days from call. Profesional staff, complementary car wash and most important, did not feel like they try to scam you. Will go back for sure

Consistently excellent customer service. Austin Rayes was great. He did a thorough intake and follow-through for my maintenance appointment. I received the underbody video - always helpful, a thorough report, and the cost was lower than anticipated. Have always had first rate experiences both in sales and service at LaFontaine Volvo.

I will 2 star for Volvo not returning my calls or replying to my earlier request to service advisor. They recommended that I need tire change. I asked them if they can be covered by warranty as it has driven only 25000 miles , no response on that.Then again I left VM if the coupon I got in mail will be honored for tires , again no response.

Christian was my Service Advisor and he did a great job in understanding and resolving the issues with my car. No more seat creaking and it runs great! I drove an hour to get my car serviced and it was worth it!

Awesome dealership! Very clean and organized inside and great service from the moment you walk in the door. Steve was AMAZING in helping me find my new car. He did a great job at finding the perfect vehicle for me, getting my monthly payment to what I can afford and the best part about everything is that we got it all done in a timely fashion. I've had my car for almost two months now and I appreciate all the work done by Steve and LaFontaine. Definitely will be referring car buyers there!

Kyle Wusenich met me at the front door which began a professional deal of purchasing a pre-owned certified Volvo. He was very knowledgable and let me take the car to meet my husband to inspect.
