This is a really nice park. It has two very distinct campgrounds. #1 is all paved, full concrete sites with grass, trees and lots of space. #2 has gravel streets and sites, with a very few 12x20 (approx) concrete pads. Price is appropriate. While #2 is roomy, for some reason they don't seem to spread out the occupied sites. It is well maintained and constantly cleaned. We would return as it is well placed for local side trips.

Great location if your wanting to visit Sleeping Bear Dunes, Lake Michigan beaches, and other surrounding attractions. This park has a really nice separate luxury RV section but the regular RV section is definitely lacking. Most sites are full dirt so if it rains, it s a mud mess. Even without rain, it's very messy. Sites are close together as well so if you're looking for some peace & quiet, this isn't the place. Most campers are gone during the afternoons but mornings & evenings, it's very noisy. They do have some spots with a concrete patio but good luck getting those. You'll need to book those far, far in advance. Bathrooms were kept clean but there weren't enough showers to adequately accommodate the numbers of campers. In the end, it felt like we were camping in a very crowded state park. We tried changing sites but the office folks were not very helpful. We traveled here from Texas and it was our first visit so we're chalking up our experience here as a live & learn situation. For the rates they charge, we expected a little more.

We loved the location of this park, close to Sleeping Bear Dunes (a must see), Glen Arbor, and Traverse City (20-30 min drive) as well as the Leelanau peninsula. Check in was super easy, the staff was very friendly. Our pull through site was roomy and we loved the woodsy feel. We didn't check out many amenities but the kids loved the playground. There is plenty of equipment for kids to spend time on - swings, climbing structure, slide, merry go round, exercise equipment and even toy construction trucks for digging in the sand. We loved that the equipment for activities like shuffleboard was readily accessible without having to check it out. The staff around the park seemed to be really on top of things, even doing curbside trash pickup. When I first made the reservation they were nice enough to tell me about the fall promo, which I didn't know about and allowed us to stay an extra night. They were very nice about accommodating our late check out request (12pm) and even offered us a discount if we wanted to stay an extra night as there was no one booked in our site! I wish we didn't have reservations elsewhere or we definitely would have stayed. We were super impressed with this campground.Nearby activities: Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Arbor, Cherry Republic, Traverse City, breweries, beaches

This is a super cute campground! Equipped with a pool, family activities, a park and close proximity to travel around the Peninsula! I definitely enjoyed my stay and will be planning a return trip in the future. There s not much as far as groceries go in the camp store so try not to forget anything! The lady in the store was great and helped me plan out a day trip for my family around the area, which was very helpful as it was our first visit! Very beautiful grounds!

Indigo Bluffs is an okay place overall but forcing you to pay to use the showers when you ve already paid to stay here is flat out crazy. On a cold morning this really, really sucked. I doubt my family will return to this campground. Avoid this campground if you don t want to feel like you are at the laundromat. The sites are packed together I can t imagine how busy and noisy it is during the busier months. It is very sandy here as you probably could have guessed it so if you don t want to be dirty bring mats for the camper or some sort of rug. There are plenty of others around where like the rest of the 99.9999% of campgrounds in the world you can turn hot water on at your command which is better suited for a guy like me.

The photos on the website are mostly all of the resort side that only allow class A. Those grounds are super well maintained, paved roads, grass and well lit. The RV park side is the complete opposite. I joked with my husband that we are the third class citizens in the Rv park. What made it worse is that we came during a rainy part of the fall so the no grass all sand would not call paved roads made it terrible to walk your dog. We were here when it s not super crowded so it was quiet but I can see how I m peak season it would get loud. Pretty disappointed in our stay as I was really looking forward to it based off their website. Should have really listened more to the bad reviews below. If you have a class A and can stay on the resort side you are good otherwise look elsewhere. Also their wifi is terrible our starlink had no signal. Pathetic that our one bar VZ was our only hope. Front desk at check in were super friendly but they are very stern about making sure you read their two pages of rules which when you see the RV park side you are not really sure why they have them.

We enjoyed our stay at Indigo Bluffs! They had really nice bathroom/shower areas and all of the sites were shaded really nicely and had ample trees for hammocking. If you prefer a more private experience, this probably isn t your place though since the sites are VERY close together. We didn t mind that since we had some nice neighbors though, so not necessarily a bad thing to us. Their main office is also a store and is stocked with all of the essentials which was so nice when we realized we forgot a couple things. The proximity to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Arbor, and Traverse City was perfect! We can t wait to return :)

First you have to pay for a shower 25 cent for 3 minutesWood is very over price you can go down the road and get it 4 to 5 dollars cheaperThere is a food truck but a plain hamburger cost 15 dollarsThe only thing I can say nice is the housekeepers were the bestNo speed bumps. And lots of treesDon't know about the pool we have a dog and you can't bring them near the pool or leave them at camp siteThey have a dish washing station but the water is cold only .Do NOT RECOMMEND

Charging a quarter per 5 minutes of showers is just a bad choice. I ve camped all my life and never seen that before. Forgetting to bring a quarter to a shower because it s not a normal thing means you have to make two trips for no reason other than the campground wants to inconvenience it s customers. The wifi exists but can t load a website. Spotty cell service is better.

We really enjoyed our stay at Indigo Bluff, amazing hospitality, especially Casey, Craig and their daughter Angel helped us selflessly in an emergent situation. We will never forget how much they really took care of us. And of course the kids loved the pool as much as we appreciated the clean bath-rooms. Great campground, amazing staff!Nearby activities: Close to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City!

RV park fairly tight, but not quite KOA tight. Showerhouse was clean. Little surprised that they have pay showers... it's not a truck stop. 25 cents for 3 minutes. At least the toilets are free for registered guests...Nicely wooded with tall trees. Friendly staff

I booked my RV site a few months in advance & when arriving received a terrible site! Asked if I can have a different site was told they were full for the weekend! NOT!! We were put right in the middle of full-timers that are there all year long!! Very tight spot, had to back in & in was in the very back of the campground! We walked around & spoke with a few people who said they just called and got in and got a pull through spot with a cement patio! Was very disappointed & this was our second time camping here & it will be our LAST!! Never again!

We have mixed feelings on this campground. Although the location is very convenient, the staff friendly and helpful, and the sites generally large, there are some issues. Sites vary DRAMATICALLY...some have a concrete pad for your entry way...some are just sand. Some have gravel; some do not. Wi-fi is difficult at best, even for simple purposes. Sites are generally well planned for backing in. Width on most is good. There are a LOT of idle campsites; I suspect annual reservations are a big part of the business model. There are a lot of nickle-and-dime fees....showers are 25 cents on a timer....$5 'reservation fee'. $20 'change fee' for moving a reservation a day for a mid September end-of season stay. They know how to do some things right....main building and store is wonderful, pool is great, adjacent "premium" campground for fifth-wheel and Class A units is wonderful. They lose it, however, on many aspects of the main campground. I would return, but would be MUCH more careful picking a site that is not a sand pit.

We had a nice shady camping spot. It was spacious and quiet. Very nice clean campground. Bathrooms were very clean. Pool was popular. Kids looked busy and happy! Pets were welcome. They had nice rentals too, cabins and RVs. Small camp store. Food truck comes Wed thru Sat, I think. Nice place. Close to all kinds of hiking and beaches! Helpful staff!!

Since this is an RV park, rooms don t apply here. But wowzers!, What a location! Close to Empire, and not very far from all the things you love about Frankfort, the Leelanau, peninsula, and the Traverse City area. Not to mention the riverside canoe livery, the Betsie river, and tons of great golf, if that s your thing. The facilities are modern, clean, and well-maintained. You will have your pic of RV camping sites with full connectivity, or rustic camping for that up north Michigan experience. The only reason I didn t give it five stars is that it closes a little earlier in the season then I would like. An extra week or two during peak fall color would really be nice.

From the moment you pull into this beautiful campground, you know you made the right choice. The grounds are immaculately manicured and pristinely kept. The office building is newly renovated and has a small store that is well stocked. I was assisted by a couple of the office personnel upon check in and they were polite and helpful even though they were busy (showed up right at check-in time). I proceeded to my site and found it easily, sites are well marked. We had no problem getting backed in and set up. There are several nice pull throughs but they were unavailable when we booked, which is a bummer as they are big level sites. The bathhouses were clean and you could tell they were serviced daily. Trash pickup at your site daily is a nice bonus. The grounds crew is always out making improvements or just general cleanup. There is a resort side to this campground which we saw during a walk around. It is newer and very well kept with large concreted sites. There are several communal buildings for various uses. The pool can get busy but there is adequate seating with both reclining chairs and a couple of tables with umbrellas. It is also very clean and maintained. There is a nice large playground with a dog park, new workout area, shuffleboard and even an outdoor ping pong table. The food truck on site an excellent option for lunch or dinner. Overall, we were very impressed with this campground and have already booked our next stay. 10/10

First off this place is located in one of the most beautiful parts of upper lower Michigan. There is so much to do during the summer around sleeping Bear dunes. However, this campground is way overpriced, they do not let you select a campsite despite paying 6 months or more in advance. Then when you get here you have to drive by their maintenance shack, the dumpsters, and if you're lucky you may get a good site in the back of the park. The Wi-Fi sucks big time, forget about watching a movie if it's raining. They charge about 70 bucks per night for full hookups unless you're staying in the resort area then I believe it's about 90 bucks a night (at the time of this post).

My wife, our 10-month-old, and I stayed in a cabin at Indigo Bluffs during the last week of the season, in October. The trees were beautiful! The pictures don t really even do it justice! It s obvious that a lot of care has gone into and continues to guide this place. Our cabin was clean, comfortable, and warm (even when temps dropped into the 40s). Staff was kind and attentive. The amenities were plentiful and well maintained. While the summer season is of course when most think for visiting northern Michigan, I cannot recommend enough this time of year. The trees are beautiful, and the crowds and minimal (too bad we couldn t take advantage of the pool). Indigo also has an amazing location, close enough to Glen Arbor, Traverse City, and Sleeping Bear Dunes, while also giving you the peaceful camping feel.We will definitely be coming back and will be sure to make Indigo our lodging for northern Michigan trips. And we will book soon since it looks like the place fills up fast!!

One of my favorite campgrounds. The location, staff, camp sites, ammentities etc. are top notch. The pool is heated and is usually 84. They also had a couple of food truck there by the playground. One was a burger place and the other was a breakfast one. Food was delicious! I highly recommend the smoked wings with the Jamaican Jerk sauce. I want to go back already!

We tried to book a site here, but it being a busy holiday weekend, they didn t have availability. That was understandable, but we found ourselves visiting sleeping bear dunes and needed a quick place to plug in and charge our generator for 30 minutes so we could not have our food ruin. This place was so rude and would not give us any help in dire need. We had previously wanted to stay here, but now after this would never consider it. Do better people!

This place is absolutely amazing! It has an area that has a resort where they have larger pads for RVs and then the other portion that has various sites for campers, cabins, rvs. They even rent rvs! There is a pool, dog park, playground, bouncy house, it's absolutely beautiful here. And it's so close to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City.

If possible it would rate no stars. This campground is so dirty Almost all the sites are on dirt with maybe a small cement pad for your picnic table . We requested a different site than booked 8 months in advance. It was so small for our 30 ft fifth wheel. They could switch us but it would cost $24.00 to switch and the site they were putting us on cost more than the original one we had booked. . Would not recommend this campground to anyone .

Nice campground over all I stayed at site 413 it was not what I was told when they described it over the phone no sense of privacy you are sandwiched in between 4 other campers it is positioned horribly! How ever if you book on the other side where the Rv s park it seemed like that side is more attended to and way more privacy. You should have the option to gets spots over there as well but you can t.
