had to have a battery replaced which they did they couldn't do a wheel alignment on my because they said they machine didn't fit the size of my tires ok fine,,i asked for a suspension check they said ok,,now everything down i ask did yall do a suspension check they said yes yo all good now i knew something was off because they always give me a printed out copy they didn't,,just a copy of the battery installation and i needed a air flow sensor put they dont have certified mechanic that does that right now,,so i go to bell tires because they machine fits my tires for the alignment not even 5 mins they come and said you need 3 tie rods a boot blown etc i said really pep boys said i was good they said you can get a second opinion,,i did bell tires was correct Pep boys in Eastpointe is going down hill and i always go there not anymore

Nick is the most knowledgeable and professional manager. He is really turning this store into a great place. AND NOW YOU GUYS FIRED HIM AND 3 OTHER GREAT EMPLOYEES SO SAD. I Will find Nick and follow him to his new store.

Second time i gone there to have oil change. I turn car on when I get home on dash it says oil change required. For all I know my oil wasn't changed. No one even showed me the dip stick. Probably will never do business with them again.

Ask for Blaise. He s super friendly and informative. It s not the staffs fault at all, but the online booking system triple booked me with others. It took two hours for an oil change but Blaise was very aware that this was inconvenient and did what he could to make it right. He honestly made my day and I hope to have that positive attitude with my own clients for my business.

In all my years of driving I've never witnessed a shop take over an hour for a simple oil change. Absolutely would not recommend. Very very very slow and everyone seems to be dragging as well as tired looking.

walked in 1 and 1/2 hours before close to get a tire fixed. Guy took my keys and when the technician went to go outside and bring in the truck, he refused to do the job. Said he was not equipped to do the job at the time. No manager on duty. Was not happy with this experience.

My appointment was at 10am and I arrived about 10 minutes early. I immediately signed in and provided my key fob. Around 45 minutes later the service advisor came and said I was good to go. Work was completed to my satisfaction and in a timely matter. I usually go to the dealership but they were booked for another week. Glad I trusted Pep Boys to get the job done. Will return for future maintenance.

Bought 4 new tires and 2 new sensors. The tire balancer wasn t working and they couldn t figure out how to reset the tire pressure light. After 2 months of trying to get them to make it right, I ended up having to visit another mechanic and tire shop for them to fix it. Don t go here.

VERY DISSAPOINTED WAS IN A DESPERATE SITUATION GOT A BOLT IN MY TIRE WHILE VISITING DETROIT AND LOOKED UP PLACES WHO CAN POSSIBLY REPAIR MY TIRE TAKE THE BOLT/NAIL OUT OF MY TIRE AND PLUG THE TIRE SPOKE TO A GENTLEMAN WHO SAID THEY ALREADY WERE FULL OF CARS IN GARAGE AND WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO ASSIST I ASKED WAS THERE ANYWAY I CAN BE SEEN HE SAID NO AND I TOLD HIM WHERE I WAS HEADED AND AFRAID TO DRIVE ALL THE WAY BACK TOWARD ANN ARBOR FOR FEAR OF TIRE MAY BLOW OUT HE OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T CARE I SAID CAN YOU REFER ME TO ANYONE ELSE THAT MAY BE OPEN HE SAID NO I SAID OK SIR HAVE A BLESSED DAY AND HUNG UP. I GET IT'S A SUNDAY SO I DIDN'T THINK IT WOULD BE HARD TO GET HELP OR PEOPLE ARE THAT BUSY. I WILL NEVER CALL OR REFER THIS PACE TO ANYONE WHAT A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WHEN I NEEDED HELP BAD I WOULD HAVE WAITED LONG A I NEEDED TO I JUST NEEDED TO GET BACK HOME BUT THANKFULLY I FOUND A PLACE THAT CAN HELP ME ON THE FIRST CALL WHEREAS I WAS TURNED AWAY HERE AT PEP BOYS I HOPE THEY NEVER GET IN A SITUATION WHERE THEY NEED HELP AND GET TURNED AWAY WHILE FAR FROM HOME BUT I GUESS PPL OUT HERE STILL EXIST THAT JUST WON'T OR DON'T TRY TO HELP.

This was my first experience with Pep Boys and it was a positive one. I was relieved to be able to get an appointment on a Sunday. I booked online, brought it in, and they had already done their research. They gave me a price and performed the service in less than 2.5 hours. We were very pleased with the smooth transaction all around.

Been here over an hour for an appointment and my car is still sitting in the parking lot. What's the point of making an appointment for something simple to still sit and wait for a hour?

Purchased new tires from here . They told me I needed brakes rotors , caliber and alignment total came out to $1,098. This was price including tires , But they couldn t get to it right then in there so I said ok I ll pay for the tires and get the rest first thing in the am. Tires were like $560 I wanted the work done on my car right away though so I searched around , something just told me to call back as me and the salesman agreed that I will drop my car back off at open time the next day . So I wanted to get clarification of everything cause I was going to have someone else drop the car off ,same guy with braids answered that I d been dealing with the whole time said the price was now $1638 . How ?! When I asked why did it change he didn t try to figure out or anything ! The 2 stars is for the tires I received they were quick with that . But I don t know how I feel about ever doing business here not sure if they were playing with me or trying to get over or what as to my knowledge my balance should ve been five hundred something , then again I didn t get estimate papers or balance or anything he also said he couldn t find my paper work although I just left 2 hours ago from paying for the tires . But I didn t take it back I took my car else where to get fixed . They need to get accurate with calculations, could ve been an error but I couldn t risk it. I also think they are short staff so they re turning down jobs

I called a few (4) places to get tires put on my car today, a Saturday afternoon. This was the only place that had my size in stock and was able to put them on today. I requested 4 new tires. After inspection and a conversation with the tech, I ended up just replacing the two front tires and having a nail removed and the hole plugged in one of the rear tires.Awesome, honest service. I highly recommend this place. Thanks Blaise and Patrick.

Had a fantastic experience with Blaise and another gentleman whose name I cannot recall. I was desperate to have a tire replaced on a Sunday. I was stranded in Detroit and live an hour north. I could not find any place open on a Sunday to purchase and install a tire. Finally I found pep boys and was welcomed to have the work done there. Luckily I was able to get towing set up quick and arrived there by 2 pm. I was on the road by 3pm. Thank goodness. The situation could of ended much worse. Thank you again for the excellent customer service. Pat.

I arrived at Pep Boys in Eastpointe, MI at 3 p.m. on a Saturday needing to get an alignment check and performed if necessary. The staff was very friendly and were able to check and align my daughters car.They did a fantastic job and completed it in a reasonable time! Excellent job and thank you so much!

I really can t believe that this place is still in business. They never have anything in stock that I ve needed and the customer service is consistently lacking. The last straw for me was asking for a known quality product and the employee in the background yells out I ve never heard of that before . He wasn t even the person helping me or trying to be helpful. No wonder they were standing around in a circle jerk with nobody else in the store. I m done with them.

Blaise and the rest of the crew are awesome!! Never have a problem going here to have my vehicle worked on. One and done! Don't have to keep going back to have something re-done like a few if these shops around here in the area.

This is a bad place! Do not take your car here!!! The employees at this pep boy had my car for a whole week just to tell me they are unable to do the job. The repair facility did not have the decency to call me and let me know that. I had to call them myself to get an update. Then when I ask the employee if they can call and let my warranty company know gnat they can t do the job. The employee said I don t have the time. I would not recommend this place to my family friends or colleagues. I am also reporting this place to the better business bureau. Very disappointed

They told me to come in for a 930 appt for new tire installation (nothing else - no aliment, no oil change - just new tires which I had with me) they didn t have a ton going on that day so told me to come in for the appt at that time. Showed up and after waiting for almost two hours I went to check in for progress at the desk - told there was still someone ahead of me and they hadn t even worked on my car yet. I waited for almost two hours with my two young children WITH AN APPOINTMENT.Absolutely disgraceful.Would give zero stars if I could. Do not go here.

You have to check to make sure they have done what is asked of them. I came in for an oil change and waited for 1hour I was told I was done and on the way home the engine light popped on got home popped the hood to check the oil stick and not a drop of oil was on the stick an may sure they top you off as well .Good day all

I m not gonna lie. I had a huge issue with a certain individual in the store who is very unprofessional, but I got a callback from management who are very professional very nice, and was willing to resolve the situation which I appreciate so much and for that I get five stars I don t blame the company for having one bad apple my recommendation, if you call simply ask for Josh the manager and he will take care of your needs and a professional way
