THEY DAMAGED MY CAR DUE TO CRIMINAL NEGLIGENCE. These "mechanics" admitted they did not secure the lug nuts on my tire at all. After I drove off the lot, my front tire came off and went flying, and my car crashed down onto the pavement just 20 feet away from the shop. It completely ruined my fender. My car broke down onto Veronica Street, which is the very first residential street from the shop. I have contact information from residents on that street who were witnesses to this incident from September 2023. They fixed it afterwards but are REFUSING to give me any money back because "the job was done". They are lucky that no one was hurt, especially on Gratiot. If they delete this review I will continue to repost. I have reported them to the Secretary of State, and I encourage anyone who had a problem with them to do the same.March 2024 Update: I have repeatedly demanded a receipt for the fixed fender, for my records, and due to the fact that it is a different color from the car. They have repeatedly refused this request, even after I was told from a representative from the Secretary of State that a formal letter was sent. Do not go to these mechanics.Services: Tires, Brakes

I can tell that the staff is flooding these reviews with positive ones. Check the language of their replies and the newest positive reviews they re the same.If you filter for the low ratings, you will see the truth. They wronged my family like they wronged the rest of these people. They are criminals. They are unprofessional. They are negligent. Sad excuse for a business.I am not one to leave reviews, but they cannot keep doing this.I hope that they get shut down before they make a mistake so egregious that someone gets hurt.

Ford dealership was trying to hit me with a 189.00 fee just to give me a quote on how much to fix my break lights but eastpointe auto repair gave me a fair price, order my light assembly, called me the next day put it on within a few minutes... So for me recommend this place to anyone with car troubles.. friendly,,,, dependable,,, and the receptionist was polite every time I had to call.... My go to for now on

Well let me start by saying if you wanna be cheap with your car just go to this shop. I had my ball joints / control arm replaced here in well supposed to been replaced back in November. They put bold parts on my car now I m currently at a dealership getting those same parts replaced . Smh I m in disbelief!! I can t believe they did some horrible stuff like this ! Charged me so much money and only patch work !!!!

My fly wheel was supposed to be replaced and upon my return I had to get my vehicle jumped twice just to get it to drive out of there. My truck has NEVER had that issue before trusting them to fix it however it seems they broke more than they fixed!! They replaced my starter without my knowledge and failed to show me proof of that but i still had to pay for it to get my truck back,my battery was switched out,they even broke the wheel well clearly doing a terrible job. My exhaust was tampered with and makes a loud noise now that it never made before they started to work on it which,remind you only the fly wheel was supposed to be replaced! My reverse seal (not sure if thats the exact way to say it but my new mechanic lmk this) wasn't placed back on my engine when they put everything back on after replacing the fly wheel so my oil now leaks rapidly as well. I will NEVER return for any future work guaranteed. They are not a stand up business in my opinion due to personal experience please be careful when choosing a mechanic please!Services: Engine repair, Battery

I had electric problem with my car I took it to two places no one knows how to fix it but I didn t know about these guys they are talent they fixed my car same day i will recommend this place to everyone and I ll definitely come back again if something happen to my car.

Dropped my truck off 2 months ago to have my timing chain done. Took them a month and I m still having the same problem. Now I m out $2,200 and have to spend more to take it to a REAL mechanic. DONT GO HERE

Had them replace my air conditioning compressor head to go back five times still not fixed they did a brake booster did not fix the issue then they said it was a master cylinder which finally got fixed but don't believe the brake booster was bad had to go back three times before the brakes were fixed they did my air compressor back five times still not fixed then told me to go somewhere else the air work when I took this car to them never had a leak all the freon leaks out do not recommend this place now I have to take my car back to another repair shop and then take them too Court nobody should have to go through this every time I went back nobody was there at 8:00 in the morning so don't buy that they ever tell you to show up at 8 no one's ever on time very poor business and another thing they left the bolts out of my motor mount had to go back and have bolt put back in motor mount after they put the air compressor on ask to speak to the owner they told me he is overseas and the phone call would cost me more than the job and he does not speak English they said I would not understand stand him do not recommend this place to anyone as to their response on reviews I was back five times with the compressor then they started telling me it's the new compressor leaking and tried to get another hundred and $50 to change it .I took the car to Firestone and had dye put in it like they were supposed to do and there is no signs of leak at the compressor they are lying to the response of the review and don't forget the brakes they guaranteed me the brake booster the first time I came home and the brakes didn't work then they told me it was the master cylinder don't ever use this place why is there two receipts they didn't tell you they sent me out with bad brakes the first time pretty unsafe you asked me for people that is supposed to be certified can't just keep replacing parts to you get the right one

Very bad experience. And told me to give my car after a day but put 5 days in that place. And they excuses every time. Today they gave me time 11am. I went 1 p clock,they said 30 minutes I waited 2 hours. #Avoidtheplace

This is my first time dropping something off to have repaired at East point Auto, they did an excellent job same day service see my vehicle broke down yesterday evening after getting off from work about 5:00. Even though they opened up at 10:00 they had my car in by 10:01 in the back and said they would give me a call letting me know what the problem was even though I knew what it was? And had it done before 2:30, I recommend East point Auto to anyone who has vehicle issues, I still have another place that's in my that I go to from time to time Best Care Auto, with the gentleman there is an excellent mechanic.! But if you don't want to drive all over town to find a reasonable reliable place to go to to have your vehicle repaired try East point Auto I give them four stars right now, but five stars next week. Thank you you guys at eastpoint Auto.!

I just moved out to eastpointe in May and was wondering which shop would be my go to when I noticed my oil was leaking pretty bad. I called several shops that day and Eastpointe Auto was able to get me back on the road again. They also provided helpful payment methods that took alot of weight off my shoulders. I had a great experience dealing with this shop. This is the best auto repair shop I have ever been to. I dealt with a guy named, Mike, and he is a very nice, blessed man. He is sooooooooo honest and fair, it seems to good to be true. They did excellent work, and was more than ever willing to accommodate my needs, and financial situation. I will never, ever deal with another shop after meeting these guys. I will refer everyone to them, because of the way they conduct their business. They also offer financing for your repairs, if needed. I went to Cals, and he basically received $250.00 for nothing. He told me I couldn't get heat in my car, because my heater core was clogged, and I had a blown head gasket...Mike figure out the problem, immediately, and let me know that I didn't have the 2 issues that Cals said I had, he fixed it, now we have very hot heat...if any of yall know me, yall know my character. If yall need work done, and don't want to get taken advantage of, go see Mike, and tell him Noland sent you. He'll take great care of you and your vehicle. Peace!: )

Professional mechanics, I been in two different shops they told me my engine is bad because oil was dirty, that I need new engine. Towed it to Eastpointe auto they found my cabin fuse box damage cuz of the water that leaked from my sun roof. They get me in and out and saved me $4200. Absolutely horrible business, took almost a full month for a new engine just for my car to be undriveable two days later. Would never recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy. Eastpointe auto should be burnt to the ground.. they need a negative star sectionThey sold me a motor ..last year before the pandemic...I drive about a month motor goes out not to mention 500 for a trans pan..a starter that i didn't need...I take it back.. they give me problems like it's my fault... they end up finding me another motor...I just receive my car about a week ago...he charge me another 1000 talking about the motor better. Wow...soon as I pulled off got home..my engine light was on...transmission leaking..smh ... never they are terrible..i am right now in process of taking them to court....they kept my car from...before the pandemic till now Feb 2021..I lost 3 jobs in between that.....I will never go there ever!!!
