My transmission went out on Monday and by Thursday Chris had my truck back on the road and running like it did when I bought it 200000 miles ago.Excellent service

I m from Ontario, my van broke down travelling to visit daughter n family in Lennon. My son n law took it to Durand - they got it in right away and tranny was replaced - picked up a day earlier than expected. Great service travelled back to Ontario without any issues.

I contacted Chris about an issue with the transmission in my motorhome. After giving him all the specific and pertinent information about my rig (transmission model, size of the motorhome, chassis make, etc., we agreed that it would be prudent to visit the shop and diagnose the problem. A few phone calls and days later my wife was able to drive the rig to the shop (I was at jury duty). I had called Chris earlier in the day and told him that she was coming later in the day and after calling ahead to let them know she was coming he wasn't there when she arrived. Further, there was no good place to park while she waited for him. She ended up driving to an abandoned restaurant parking lot less than a half-block away. When Chris returned he gave her a little "grief" about not calling ahead. When he was informed that she did call ahead but it went to voicemail, he said that's because he wasn't there. Then he resisted walking the short distance to the rig to check it out. He finally relented, brought a tape measure with him and determined that, again despite being made well aware in advance how big the motorhome was, it wouldn't fit in his shop or on his hoist. He should have just said that upfront in our initial conversations! Instead, he cost me precious time that I can ill afford in getting my rig repaired and on the road.Service: Transmission

Gave me a "Good, Better, Best" option for the repair needed on our vehicle. All the research I did suggest that I got a fair price for the option I chose. Previous reviewer mentioned "transmission only good for 12k miles", I feel like they might have been talking about the warranty offered for a rebuilt transmission. Research I found suggest that 12k miles on a rebuilt transmission is a pretty common warranty offer and suggesting a 200k warranty seems a bit out of touch with how things work. Been driving on our rebuilt transmission for about a month now, and I have no cause for concern. If I have an issue and they don't help me with it I'll update this review, otherwise if it remains a 5 star rating while you're reading this then that must mean I didn't have any issues. Chose this shop based on recommendations from the first two places I called for repair, so their work is well regarded by at least two other local repair shops.

Take your transmission here if you've got a spare 2gs you want to waist come to find out his transmission are only good for 12,000 miles when a normal tranny's good for 200,000+ miles you do the math,getting screwed here

Rudest people I have ever talked to. They said my car doesn't exist and I must be mistaken in a very condescending rude way. So rude. Would never recommend them.
