The shop left me with a below empty gas tank in 9� F. I barely made it to a gas station and stood in freezing weather just to make it home (After nearly keeping my vehicle just shy of a month (including a week for Christmas break)) I picked up my vehicle with the steering a whole degree out of alignment. They said nothing at pick up. I was so frustrated that I did not drive the hour back to Durand to have the mechanic fix the alignment. I paid another mechanic in my area $100 to straighten my steering wheel and tires.

My husband and I were on our way to Canada and started to smell something burning. So glad this was the exit we pulled off on. They ordered a belt. We had to wait a bit, but didn't mind. The waiting area is very comfortable, they have snacks and offered drinks. Tom and Leah are both so kind and kept us updated as we waited. Wish we had this place in our home town. Good people.Also, there were 2 women in the waiting area when we got there who have been long time patrons and said we were lucky to find this place, that they are very honest and fair.

We dealt with the shop that claimed there was no electrical work and that it was a computer. We dealt with Jeff was an automotive electrician he fixed our truck and 6 hours! We've dealt with the other shop for years but Durand mobile fix my truck and under six hours. These guys are amazing, and they're definitely going to get my business from here on out

We are on vacation and having AC problems. Went in and was taken in immediately! The man was very knowledgeable and explained our problem. He told us we would be fine until we got home after he fixed the small problem. Will take it to our dealership to check on a motor that seems to not be working. Thanks for helping us!! Being out of town can be overwhelming when needing mechanical assistance on your automobile.

Highly recommend this business!! We tried them on a recommendation of a friend, after our other mechanic was backed up several weeks. Durand Mobil Services kept us informed about the progress of our vehicle the entire time they had it. We love that! The staff is friendly and the costs are reasonable. We will definitely be return customers in the future!

I have never experienced such amazing customer service. My car broke down and I was completely stranded. They were very prompt, quick and professional. I was blown away by my experience. I ve had electrical issues with my truck since I bought it 4 years ago. Finally got to where I needed it fixed. Scheduled an appointment and dropped it off. They found the problems and made the repairs in a timely manner and for what I thought was a very fair price. I haven t had an issue since. Everyone was very informative and communication was excellent!

Had 2 broken motor mounts quoted, $400, no problem. Make the appointment drop it off, no call til it s done. Got there at 5:45pm paid signed the receipt got my key. Go start my truck up, and it s significantly louder! Exhaust leak and rattles on cross dar. They didn t take the 2 bolts out of my exhaust and raised it 2 at the motor. What do you think it did to the exhaust flange? But instead of offering to fix it at first I got a bunch of excuses. Mind you they have done $4000 of work to this truck, so nothing is broke! I started getting the run around so I started cussing. Yup they fixed it, and told me to never come back over two bolts two bushings and 10 minutes. And this was the owner, Tom s brother in law! Been doing business there for years till today! I understand things break, but I didn t even get a call for a solution, I just got hacked up work and excuses! 9/13/21Service: Engine repair

I do not write many reviews so when I do it is because of great service. Went out of their way to take care of me as I need my truck repaired in a hurry for a family camping trip. Extremely professional, very knowledgeable and of course quality work and service. Awesome job by Tom and Jeff and the entire staff at Durand Mobil Services. Tom and his crew are the real deal. Straight forward, knowledgeable, and proficient. After years of vehicle troubles I've found the one and only place I will bring my vehicles. Everyone will talk about mechanics pushing you to add on services and things for extra money. Here, I've found if they push anything it's because I need it. If it's something that doesnt need to be addressed immediately, they'll tell me about it and leave it at that.I can't say enough good things about Durand mobile. Anything from an oil change to rebuilding an engine (which they've done both for me). Quality and professionalism, enough said!

I was on my way to Kalamazoo which was two and a half hours from home when my jeep decided to die on the highway near Durand (hour from home). I had seen this shop before and knew it was close, so I managed to get there. It was 5 on a Friday night and everyone was leaving for the night/weekend but the owner decided to stay late and help me get back on the road. He swapped my battery and terminal clamps and I was back on the road safely. They could have just said "sorry we're closed" but they decided to stay late and I'm so grateful. I would have been in a real mess. This really shows the character of this shop and its owner. Thanks again!!

Very impressed with the work that was performed on my car. Jeff was great, he picked my vehicle up from my house, left me a car to drive, and returned my vehicle to me at work that evening. Great service, and a job well done. I will definitely be going back!!

Spent almost $1300.00 for someone to play the guessing game. Had my vehicle twice, and never fixed my problem I decided to take it somewhere else. Anyone can reset codes...I don't recommend . The first mechanical problem on my trip North. An engine cooling fan that was recently installed stopped working.The mechanic Tom immediately began diagnosing my problem and was able to determine that the plug was not engaged.I was back on my way in a short time thanks to his diligence. Cannot express my gratitude enough!

WARNING!! IF YOUR THINKING OF BRINGING YOUR VEHICLE HERE... DON'T...GO SOMEPLACE ELSE. I was taken advantage of I came in for an air conditioning issue. And Jeff (nice guy) recharged my air system without pressure checking it. He just recharged it. Didnt look for leaks never put the car on the host to check for leaks. 155.00 later and a few hours later I find out I have a leak and now wants to charge me another 250.00 are you kidding me? Then he checked for my coolant leak and assured me 100% it was the water pump and would cost me $700 to fix. So for giggles I went to graffs cuz I now find out there was possibly a recall. Well find out it's 80.00 to have them look at it if it was indeed water pump I wudnt pay anything and get my 80.00 back. Well finding out it's not the water pump it's a radiator cap..so mobile now has screwed me outta 230.00 i WILL NEVER refer anyone to mobile. They didn't even want to try to make it right then mislead me...very very unhappy

Local all-star Lonnie is the best mechanic I've come across in 3 states he has a huge heart just a great guy to have on your team great job guys he could prolly fix my toaster if I asked him to!
