My name is Irene Stone.I had my oil changed at the dealership and I was very happy with not only the service I received but every person I came into contact with. A great bunch of people. They werevery professional and asked if I had any concerns or questions on my new car. They made sureI was comfortable while I waswaiting . I worked with Robert Halfacre to buy my new 2024 Trail Boss. Robert is the man! He listened to what my needs and wants were and delivered. Excellent service at the LaFontaine Chevrolet on 7120 Dexter Ann Arbor Rd! My service manager was Jason Barron - I want to give 10 stars out of 5. I could not be happier. I needed an oil change, but also had questions about winter check/maintenance. Jason answered all my questions and provided the recommendations, he also scheduled a ride for me while my car was in the service (James was the driver - all good - Thank you!) Everything was done within just a couple of hours, and I got my car back nice and clean, they even washed my car!!! Thank you LaFontaine. Great Job! Great experience overall. Highly recommended.

Made an offer on a car, submitted credit app, license info, insurance info, then told the car was sold. They then Sent a rejected credit app back from them after I took a credit ding from them running my credit. My credit score is over 800. What a joke. Untrustworthy scam artist. Fortunately purchased the same vehicle from an honest dealer.

It was a very busy day but the best effort was put forward to get us out as quickly as possible. Heather was fun and upbeat and was great with our kids while we were there. It was quite a far drive for us but after some online shopping it was the location that had what we were looking for at the best prices. Very glad we went to Lafontaine of Dexter.

I should start by saying I am of no relation to any of these people nor am I associated with them in any way prior to my recent purchase.I had a salesman I loved at Matick Chevrolet in Redford (Rich Curran) who was the Corvette King in my mind. He always treated me like royalty and I was greatly saddened when he passed away a few years ago. Needless to say a couple salesman stepped in his place but the experience just wasn't the same. Rich had left a high bar, but maybe it was my expectation of being treated as family. I should also say I went to Feldman Chevrolet in Novi twice and was shown little respect and asked to wait 30 minutes to speak to a salesman and previously I was also asked to wait 35 days to get my car old repaired.I was discouraged and aggravated until April 12th I saw an aggressively priced new car on Facebook at Lafontaine in Dexter and I was skeptical. So I reached out to Jason Nabozny-who I'm certain is one of their top salespeople. He politely and promptly answered all of my questions and he always maintained a friendly attitude. Additionally he spoke to me honestly about he do's and dont's of this specific car. i appreciated that. Now, I have the car I've been looking for almost 2 years and I couldn't be happier. if this sounds like a success story to you, I'd like to recommend Jason in the strongest terms possible if you're serious about a new car. Robert Halfacre and his sales team were top notch in both transparency of the purchase price and efficiency in completing the deal. I came to them on a referral from a family member and was not disappointed. Buying a new vehicle especially in todays market can be stressful enough, Robert and Erika made it enjoyable. I found the truck I wanted online, called and got into contact with Heather Genereaux. She set up an appointment confirmed the next day had the truck ready for a test drive. We negotiated a fair price quickly. They offered a good price for my trade in and all communication was done through text and was quick and easy. Arranged to have running boards and bed liner installed the next week, all was set up quickly and easily with a loaner truck for the day. I would recommend Heather and Lafontaine Dexter to anyone looking for a new vehicle.

I brought my car in to get new tires. After inspection, it was determined that I needed an alignment. I was quoted a specific price at this time and agreed. When I picked up the car, the salesman said that he had made a mistake and the price was more than $100 more. Every time I go in to LaFontaine for service, I end up paying much more than I went in for. I love my car, I bought it at this dealership. I'm not sure if I will be using the dealership for service in the future. The thing that irked me the most is a simple customer service request that I asked. I asked if they would clean the inside of my windshield...I even offered to pay for it. Not done.

Edited to add...Heather was so awesome we went back and bought another vehicle from her 2023 Chevy Traverse! Ever need a sales person on your side she goes above and beyond to make sure you get what you need.We worked with Heather G. on purchasing a 2017 GMC Sierra. She was wonderful to work with, very helpful, and accommodating. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable with choosing a vehicle before signing on the line. Defiantly recommend her and if we purchase another vehicle she will be our go to!

I would not recommend doing business with this dealership. They do not negotiate prices over the phone like most dealerships in America do. They aren't honest about the cars they have on their lot. Their communication sucks. I was traveling to their dealership, not to look, but to purchase a vehicle that was supposed to be in top shape but ended up having issues. I was upset but more disappointed that I was lied to.... Honesty in the car industry is your leverage!!

The battery replacement was done well at the going rate. Using my rewards points and GM retiree discount made it affordable. They also tweaked my headlight adjustment at my request at no additional cost. The service manager, Jason, was very friendly and informed me of all that was done. I am very pleased with the service at LaFontaine Dexter Chevrolet!

Talked with Robert Halfacre regarding buying a Chevy Traverse. He listened to what I was looking for and immediately went to work tracking one down. He found what I was looking for and finalized getting it to the dealership. He made sure everything was ready to go. Have dealt with this dealership for over 20 years. I have not been disappointed and I am happy to continue working with them.

It took a longer than expected to diagnose my vehicle. Eventually did get a quote. There was a number of issues with my 10+ year vehicle. Decided to purchase newer vehicle instead of putting a bunch of money toward repairs on an older vehicle. Was able to get a reasonable deal on a 2-3 year old vehicle. Appreciate the sales person that help with the purchase process.

The customer service in the service department when I went in for an oil change was absolutely amazing. The only thing that surprised me was that my vehicle wasn t washed when returned to me as has always been my experience in the past. But other than that outstanding customer care.

I had an appointment scheduled for my first oil change on my 2023 Terrain. My appointment was for 5:00pm, but I arrived at 4:10pm. Even though I arrived very early, Rob Wall in service was able to work me in early. The service was complete and I was out by my original scheduled time. A great experience. Thanks Rob !P.S. The iservice video text was a great plus !

I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership. The biggest complains that I have are 1. the pressure from the used car sales team 2. inability to process check transactions.The sales manager (April) was incredibly pushy and wanted me to essentially add on unnecessary products / finance the vehicle to increase the dealer margin. In the end of the day, the dealer should stick to advertised prices on their website. I had a negative experience dealing with them and they focused on recouping any losses at the new buyer's expense.The other drawback was regarding the poor ability to handle check transactions. The dealership is only knowledgeable regarding finance deals - not via check. They were not even sure if they could accept a wire/ACH... which is rediculous. I had to come into the dealership multiple times to get the paperwork all sorted. The dealership only wants a cashiers check at the time of purchase - however, it's not possible to get a check printed if the price of the car is unclear. This makes the vehicle buying process incredibly complex.Overall, this is not a positive experience with Feldman. They have goals to rip the customer off and try to force products onto you that you are supposed to be optional. I would not recommend.

I just picked up my 2019 Ford F150 at LaFontaine Chevrolet in Dexter. Yes I purchased a FORD F150 at a Chevrolet dealership. I found a smoking hot deal so I drove the 30 min and past 3 local Ford dealers to check out this F150 at LaFontaine Chevrolet. When I first walked in, I wasn't greeted by an anxious or pushy car salesperson, but rather a pleasant hello from Heather. Heather made the whole stressful purchasing experience really chill. No pushy tactics, no forcing things I don't want. She just locked down the deal at the pace I felt comfortable with. When it came time for the financing, Dawson the finance wizard was the man! He was able to somehow find me an interest rate that blew me away. He beat my credit union by 3 points. LaFontaine has these advertisements where they talk about the "family deal". Well, they truly made me feel like family. I would definitely recommend this dealership and if you would like an amazing salesperson definitely ask for Heather.

I went to purchase a car. I ran into a problem where I had to leave earlier and they were having problems with the computer system. They bought the car to paperwork and the transfer plates to my job, filled out the paperwork electronically the next day. Excellent service.

The LaFontaine Chevrolet team, Calvin and Curtis Cupitt in particular, were great to work with. I live 4 hours away from the dealer, and C&C's availability, communication and accommodation to my needs, prior to and during my visit, were outstanding. Calvin was straight with me on all facets of the car and deal, and I walked away feeling that I got a fair deal on my new Jeep and my trade vehicle. Additionally, the Finance team was thorough, did not push too hard on "extras", and very respectful of my time. *This purchase was via the CarBravo online sales service, including Black Book online trade offer. I understand this is a new process, and the LaFontaine team were very thorough in managing the process and keeping me informed on all that was involved.
