I been coming to see Al n his staff for some years now n their work has always been satisfying n their prices not bad they will work with you im here now 1-22-2024 gettn oil change n air n tires then im back on the road til nxt time

The brake job was fine it was just that the guy that fixed my brakes broke the tab off of my hubcaps and he didn't tell us. he wedged pieces of paper in there to keep them on and as soon as I drove off they began to fall off I lost one that day and I lost the other one a couple of days later. When I went back... the young man told me that he will replace one of them and he never called me back he took my name and number and he never returned my call it's been a few months now. What a pleasant experience! And that's saying a lot when it comes to auto repair.I brought my 2003 PT Cruiser in to what I thought was the previous auto shop and University Auto was now there. I dropped it off explaining that there was a lot of front end sounds that needed investigating. Within 30 minutes, Tiger phoned and asked me to come and look at the what needed fixing and to prioritize the repairs for my budget. When I got there he took me under the car and pointed out all of the problems. Not only did he treat me right on the price (including a GREAT discount!) but when it was time to pick up the car, he again showed me (with the car up on the hoist) all of the NEW parts installed as well as the pile of old parts removed. The aftercare provided by Tiger and his staff is outstanding as well. I wound up needing a whole new suspension and was headed out of town in a few days. Tiger had me come back in to make sure any adjustments were made before I left town.I am recommending University Auto Center to all of my friends. It's nice to find a repair shop that actually takes the time to care and treats you fairly on prices with quality products.

Highly recommend. Albert and his team always go the extra mile to ensure the service is done right and done in a timely manner at a fair price. Very knowledgeable group and just great people to work with.

This has to be the best care repair shop in the Detroit area! They provide honest and reliable work at a great price! I feel so lucky I've found this place as I have an 2008 Saturn and and older Ford Focus so both vehicles are starting to need maintenance and repairs. They take the time to explain what they found or recommend so you feel good about the work being done along with the added insurance that they stand behind any work they do. First time customers even get a nice discount . . so try them out . . you won't be disappointed!

They tried to replace what was suppose to be a new motor with an old one. Had to redo it several times. Charged me $800 to fix my heating coil and my heat still doesn t work. Fan under hood now makes a noise that it didn t make when I dropped it off.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

You wanna talk about professional and honesty? University auto of royal oak has to be one of the few honest shops left.. thank god I took my car in cause it was unsafe to drive.. Tiger the manager took me in the shop area to show me how my tie rod end was loose and about to break. I felt like family there cause not only did he give me a great price but the fact he showed me physically what's wrong with my car put me at ease. They even gave me a ride to work and picked me back up when the car was done, talk about your one stop shop I recommend this shop to anyone looking for a honest place to get your car fixed give them a try trust me

Outstanding friendly professional service !My muffler was replace and lines were repaired and adjusted at no time !Oil and filter were changed at the same time , as well as COMPLETE CHECK UP of brakes, transmission and fluids written REPORTR WAS GIVEN AT NO CHARGE !Facilities are VERY CLEAN !Albert ,the owner, EXEMPLARY HOST.I will take my other two "aged cars" ( Mercedes 300ST and Porsche 924 ) to albert to check-out !HIGHLY RECOMEND !Doctors' choice !Eduard V.
