Mike at Pointe Auto Tech and his employees are good people. They are a great community small business ! He even let another local business "Doggie Scoops" use his dumpster to dispose of all their waste, until Doggie Scoops took advantage and turned out to be a bunch of trash people.. Doggie Scoops gets a big . But Mike and his guys at Pointe Auto Tech are for any of your mechanical needs

I've been looking for a good mechanic close to me, and I think I found one. He fixed my truck quickly, knew exactly what was wrong just by our conversation when other mechanics were confused, saved us money, and when my kid came in with me to pick up the truck my kid struck up a conversation with Mike and he gave my kid a toy car, which really made his week. I'll be taking our trucks here

Mike is incredibly friendly and very experienced. He is extremely quick and accurate in diagnosing problems, and has never tried to talk me into getting work done that wasn t necessary. I m grateful to have a good mechanic so close to home!

This was my second visit over the last 2yrs. Mike was very helpful and knowledgeable. They got me in the same day and took care of my Town & Country. The prices were reasonable and I didn t have to go back and forth because they forgot to do something or because the problem was still there. Good & dependable.

I called them to see how fast I could get my car in. I was told that they'd be able to get me right in. Once I got there, it was 5 min and they had already pulled my car in. He was able to tell me exactly what was wrong and had it fixed in no time. The only downsized the nearly $20 they charge for using cards. I will go back with cash in hand

No one wants an auto repair bill and mechanical failures always come at the most inconvenient time. Especially, as a fixed income senior citizen. However, if you re seeking a professional repair partner for maintenance, repairs, tips, and your safety then Pointe Auto is the answer. Mike has been my go to for several years now, and this most recent experience has topped the charts! He took a look at my truck, shared his analysis, and asked that I leave it with him for my safety and to prevent further damage. My safety came first! Upon receiving his call notifying me of repair completion (within 24 hrs), he advised he had also done another minor repair to make the driving experience more pleasurable. I ve referred others to him through word of mouth but sometimes you just have to document the good works of others. It s definitely appreciated!Services: Auto A/C replacement, A/C installation & repair

Dude is good, friendly, and knowledgeable. The work is quality and he'll even send pics if something is abnormal. The transparency is appreciated. Only knock, it's only like 2 guys there so the work is a bit slow. But the prices are good and it will be done right. So I can't even knock him for it.

If you want honesty about what your vehicle needs, what you can get by on, or what you absolutely need to do this minute. This is the place. I have been with Mike over 10 years, and have vehicles older than that. They run great, and if after they have been with them, he makes it priority. He is professional and listens, doesn't correct you...even if he knows better. He runs an honest business that doesn't talk you into higher cost BS. We live in Florida, and ever since Pointe Auto was recommended to us by family members, we hold off on any repairs/service that can wait until we are in Michigan. Mike is knowledgeable, reasonable and knows everything about cars! If you are looking for a mechanic you can trust, look no further! The most honest, hardest working mechanic I think I've ever found. My car had a loud knock and everywhere I called couldn't fit me in for a week+. Called here and even though they were busy they offered to look at my car and see if it was safe to drive. Then got me in within two days. Really fair pricing and quick turnaround. 10/10 would 100% recommend.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Mike was super helpful and always pleasant on the phone, and he made scheduling my service very easy. I dropped my car off for rear brakes and cabin/engine air filter replacement at 8am and had it back by 4pm the same day. The cost was very reasonable and the service was outstanding. Fantastic auto shop. I don't normally do extensive reviews on auto shops but these guys deserve one!1. Hard to Beat Price: I needed spark plugs replaced on my '15 Outback and Pointe Auto Tech came in at a price less than four other auto shops that I called in the area.2. Friendly Service: Mike was pleasant to work with. I've been to auto shops in several states and these guys are the friendliest I've come across!3. Great Quality of work: Mike went above and beyond on my vehicle. He replaced the spark plugs and found that my air filter was dirty so he replaced that as well. I took the Outback on a cross state trip and have zero issues. I even managed to get slightly better gas mileage! (Granted, the spark plugs replaced had nearly 110k miles on them, oops)4. Transparency: Mike showed me the spark plugs he replaced and the dirty air filter. It was a very nice touch that the shop was so transparent in their work.

Trustworthy,reliable and efficient! Mike knew what was wrong with my Impala and helped to save my calipers, where as other places might have added an unnecessary fee to replace them! Did my brakes at a fair price and I've had no problems with them! Thanks Mike! My new shop!

EXCELLENT, PROFESSIONAL, FAIR PRICES AND FRIENDLY SERVICE. I highly recommend going to Pointe Auto Service if you are having issues with your�vehicle. They were quick with diagnosing the issue and repairing my car the same day! Driving with two toddlers, safety is very important to me! Best service I ve ever experienced. Pointe Auto is one of the efficient, inspectioning and reasonable and complete licensed professionals me mechanic's I've been BLESSED to come across. My entire family only allows Pointe Auto to touch OUR VEHICLES. Mike and Chris are exceptional. They are car physician. They do not play. They are HONEST AND TRUSTWORTHY. THEY DIAGNOSE YOU VEHICLE AND TELL YOU EXACTLY WHAT IT IS. WAIT THEY WILL ALSO TELL YOU IF IT CAN BE FIXED AND IF ITS WORTH FIXING. SERIOUSLY THATS FACTS. IN OUTHER WORDS. DONT WASTE MONEY ON A LEMON. I Love these guys.

The only mechanic I ll go to out here. Great prices,m and great punctuality! Just a truly honest mechanic.I don t normally edit reviews that i ve posted but WOW this shop is absolutely stellar in both punctuality and job performance. They have been the only mechanic that I will ever take my vehicles to in the Detroit area! Great prices and our cars are never there longer than a few days! Highly recommend this shop!!

A long review but worth the read. I first came to the shop in tears because after a horrible week and day getting home my car would not shift into park. The guys with the facial piercing (don't know his name), did his magic and got car into park and did the proper repair once parts came in. Mike did not like how the 1st used looked and said he wouldn't put that in my car. That alone is above outstanding. Reasonably priced. I asked about another issue were I was quoted $450 for catalytic converter job, Mike called back with the repair only being $100. Some else was trying to rip me off. Scheduled the second repair, which I appreciate because I didn't have to wait and wait and be told tomorrow. Mike was conscious enough to know he had a lot of work scheduled for the Monday so told me to come on that Tuesday, smartest move I've ever seen by a shop owner. I am a very impatient person and hate being without my car, I somehow was calmed with Mike, and knew it my car was in good hands. I was a mechanic with my father before and during my military service, with injuries no longer can do the work so I'm very glad to have a shop I can trust. I am a life time customer.

I am very thankful that I live less than a couple of miles away from Pointe AutoTech. Mike and the guys in his garage are knowledgeable, dependable, skilled, and more importantly honest. They were able to get my car in the next morning and I had my car back and fixed by noon. If you're having car troubles, I highly recommend you give them a call. Best mechanics around!

This is by far the best auto repair shop in the area. Top-of-the-line and exceptional quality work for very reasonable prices. They're not afraid of challenges, either. I was referred to them by a friend who owns a rare vehicle, which other shops in the area refused to touch, but these guys were more than willing to work on it. I too have a (now) rare car, and they helped me get it back to perfect working order. Very honest and dependable people. Shout-Out to Mike, who I was in contact with every time I had questions, and was very courteous and understanding.Will be going there again when I need more help!-Ed

I was at a decision point with my 2008 Ford Edge, having been told by the local Ford dealer that it looked like it was going to need some work on a few fronts. Of course, it would have cost me hundreds of dollars just to find out exactly what was wrong with my car and how much the dealer would charge to fix it. I talked with Mike, the owner at Pointe Auto Tech, and explained my situation. He got me in fairly quickly and gave me a thorough and transparent analysis of my car. After having a comprehensive discussion with Mike, I moved forward on the repairs (front brakes, front suspension links and axle seal), which were priced very fairly and done quite professionally.Bottom Line: Pointe Auto Tech is now my new go to auto repair facility!
