I had my tires switched out and my lugs were not properly tightened. When I drove my truck to work my wheel fell off. Then the guy didn't even show up in a timely fashion to fix it. Then I decided to check all my lugs and I had another wheel about to fall off.

Called about a tire @ 9:42pm because it said 24 hours, I was maybe 5/6 blacks away from the place with my children. When I told him, he said I could just drive to his shop. Which I did, upon arrival the place is dark and no signs I only knew it was the place because of the tires stacked outside. I then called him back, he said he would be there in 20 minutes. After the 20 minutes he called and asked am I still there?Well ugh yeah but where are you? He states on the freewayCommunication is terrible. Service was rudeI do not recommend. Don t say 24 hours if u charge ppl for you having to come to the shopI left a comfortable place with my children to go be stood up by this guy

Blew a tire Saturday night. Late. We called and they stayed open for us. Took us 40 minutes to get there on the spare. The guys were super nice. Had a tire on it and out the door in under 20 minutes. Great guys. Super friendly. Went above and beyond to stay late and wait for us to get there. Highly recommend.

DO NOT GO TO HIM OR EVEN CALL HIM TO HELP you with tire repair because I called this guy he came gave me a new tire and as soon as I start driving my tire fell off and all the screws came off I almost crashed SO HE deserves a 0 STAR HE DOES NOT HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE

Not once but twice this lovely gentleman at Pittman and Son's have stayed late just to get me a new tire and back on the road safely. Honest, great prices trustworthy work. If I could give him 10 Stars I would. Thank you so much.

Do not do business with this person! Yes on google business says open 24hrs he will come out to over charge you the actual building is never open! We were charged $93 for a used tire that was the wrong size 2 weeks ago. When contacted about the tire around 3pm on a Monday I was told he will be at the shop 30-45 minutes never showed up never answered the phone after that. This place is a scam and joke I agree with the other review about not supporting black businesses when you try to you re over charged might as well go corporate at least it will be done right with satisfaction. I do not recommend anyway to do business with this person unless you just want to waste your money. Shame on you.

Had just exited the freeway and had a blowout made it safely eastbound on Davidson. Slowly drove to Pittman &Son tire center was in and out in under 10 minutes. Fee was a mere$45 . They are open 24hrs, will come to you for a reasonable fee. Very satisfied with their professionalism.

I was stranded on the side of the highway late on a Friday night with a flat tire. These guys came out and took the rim back to their shop and put a new tire on so I didn't have to go try and find a place the next day. Awesome service, can't thanks Pittman and Son Tire Service LLC enough for what they did!

Great service. Came in a timely fashion. Did exactly what he said he would do. Had to get a different tool left and came right back. Would recommend to anyone whom in a jam and want good service.

Been going to Pittman for years. Once he went to U of D Mercy and rescued my daughter when she was a college student. He brought the tire to her and put it on. Say what you like, Detroit has the best people. Thanks Pittman and Son. You are valuable to the hood. We love you.

I called last night after hours, he met me at the shop, changed my tire , when I left I noticed my air pressure was dropping again, I called him he said he open at 9am , I get there at 11am shop not open , and now he s not answering the phone, I called from 4 different numbers, I went to another shop after leaving his shop , he put the wrong size tire on my , he gave me a tire with a bad valve, Don t go here very bad business

On Google it says its open 24 hours... why I don't know. I drove my car up here on a flat tiretire, I got here at 10:40am , I see no cars, no doors open so I called the number. Guy answered, said he was handling business and he would here at 11. 11:15 I called my gf and told her that he never came. She called, he answered and said it was open. ... Obviously its not, as I'm still here, I went as far as to knock on the door, of course no answer. I called him back, he said that he would be on the way and if I didn't want to wait I can go to another one. Its just crazy that it seems I'm a burden to this guy for wanting him to change my tire lol. Geez, my bad. Maybe change your hours if you don't want to make money. Now I'm running late for work because of this. Support black businesses they say, and when you do... Well.

Worse experience of my life charged 180 for one tire I wouldn t never come here again the tire wasn t even quality a spare is only 40 dollars u charge 5x times more unprofessional asl

This business should really change the hours listed from 24 hrs. It was closed before 8pm and if it's because of the pandemic I get it, but change the times listed on Google for the customers.

Poor business he charged me 45 dollars for a used tire he searched high and low for but tried to get 60 dollars outta me.poor customer service never again i pay 35 for a used tired he got over on me and that's sad.

Paid 20 dollars for a tire plug and 2 dollars for them putting air in that tire, I wont ever go back.
