Update(12/14/23):2 years later and still my go to shop. Honestly the sweetest and trustworthy mechanic I could ever ask for. I've been screwed over by so many that I've trusted and Said is the absolute best. I almost took an out of state job and I stg one of my thoughts were "sh*t I have to find a new shop"Customer for life!When your car breaks down, you're in an extremely vulnerable spot. I can fix most things on my car, but when things expand past my scope I call the pros. My family has been going to Pit Stop Shop for 3 generations and I will continue this tradition as long as they're open. The reason why my Grandfather, my mother, aunts, and uncles, as well as myself continue to go here is the quality of work and the trust. I simply know the fellas at the shop will do an excellent job, give me easy to understand information, and give me an honest assessment of my car issues.If you're in the Metro Detroit area, you can not go wrong trusting the pros at Pit Stop. I'm getting nothing for this review except joy that I'm helping a great small business spread the word.Service: Electrical repair

$80/hr for labor. Slight part upcharge for warranties and convenience. They went above and beyond for something that was totally free. I went in for a safety inspection, I was suspicious that my shocks were bad, they could have easily agreed for a larger sale but instead were completely honest and it's a small repair that is needed. Just sway bar links. They're able to go by appointments which is a huge plus for my family because we have 4 young kids ! They repaired the dent and disconnect in my bumper FOR FREE WITHOUT BEING ASKED!!! I am beyond happy that I came across this place. Fabio was polite and respectful while being informative. I've already informed my mom who intends to bring her business here as well. Honest, respectful, inexpensive and convenient! I couldn't ask for more !

I have been coming to this place of business for over 30 years. Family owned and run, I wouldn't trust anyone else to work on my cars. Very honest and reasonable prices. I hope they stay in business for 30+ more years as I will continue to come to here to get my cars repaired.

These guys are honest! You might think their prices are high but they don't BS. Have been many times never disappointed! One time I went there for a second opinion and turns out it wasn't what the Dealer said and they saved hundreds of dollars , hundreds of dollars. Sent a friend there with a major gas leak. Turned out to be broken fuel line clamps. Final repair $20.00. Thanks Pete for being honest!

Although I never really have my car serviced here, I am very disappointment with the experience that I had. I was actually referred to this place by a friend of mine.Long story short, my check engine is light on, when I called this place, a guy answered my call (I believe the owner). Without asking further detail, he told me he can't help. Come on! I just need a diagnostic test? I called the other auto repair, they asked me to take my car in without problem. Stay away from this crazy owner!

The Pit Stop is the Bomb, and they always provide outstanding service to their Customer. I've been a Customer for over 7 years, so it's safe to say that, " This is My Auto Repair Center."

Best pit shop that i have ever been. They could have charged me things that didnt need fixing but didnt. They fixed what needed to be fixed not what they think could be fixed. Great and honest workers, this place is the new go to pit shop. Everyone should go there :)

Very friendly and honest. I didnt know what was wrong with my car and had it my car towed there but when i went they told me it was a very simple fixed and spent less then what I expected.
