Butch took care of me, great! guy...and an extremely talented mechanic. Hoods Car Care Clinic, doesn't bombard you with a lot of, "Razzle Dazzle", and unnecessary repair costs when you walk into the shop for service. They correctly diagnose the issue, and give it to you straight...at a reasonable price, it's the way, the old-school mechanics did it back in the day...when they didn't rip you off. . I had a blown, sparkplug & bad coil plug...he fixed it the same day, without an appointment, and one mechanic absent on that particular day.

I took my car here after getting the run around at my dealer. They were very quick at diagnosing the issue and informing me of my options. I never felt pressure to spend a ton of money or that I was being misinformed. They were a little further from me but I definitely go to them if I have any major issues with my car.

Mr. Hood is a very friendly professional owner. I got expert service and price was really reasonable and affordable and he did not take advantage of me being a woman. I will definitely go back if I ever have to have any work done on my car.

My. Hood is awesome.... Full estimate for $68 and he told me it wasn't worth fixing instead of just trying to get my $$$.... I was disappointed but he earned my respect. Nice clean shop and friendly crew of men. Great Guy...

I receive top quality service every time I visit this shop. Hoods consistently quotes the best prices, gives honest and upfront diagnostics, prioritizes the emergencies vs. down-the-line fixes, and does an amazing job. It is a very trustworthy establishment!

I have been a customer of Butch Hood's for nearly 15 years. I take all of my cars to him and referred my family members and friends. Butch is by far the best, HONEST, reasonably priced mechanic in the business! He is through and explains and shows you what has happened and why it happened. I have two vehicles, one is 19 years old and one is 21 years old. Since I have been the only owner on both cars, Butch knows the history of each vehicle and prepares me for situations that may arise given their age. They both run like tops thanks to Butch. Additionally, Butch will tell you when a repair is urgent and when it is not and how long one has until the non urgent repair becomes urgent and what to look for as far as symptoms and cost. If that isn't a great, winning way to do business, I don't know what is!!! Take your vehicle to Hood's Car Care Clinic, you will not be disappointed! I have to rate them 3 stars because the oil leak they fixed has leaked again for the third time. I had an oil change in March had the same problem in May. Took my car somewhere else.

Fast, reliable qualified and reasonable. Mr Hood gives you a mini lesson in automechanics concerning your vehicle. Has been the best to service my cars

I am so grateful for this black owned business. This is the MOST positive experience I've ever had with a mechanic of any race. The owner will not take on more work than he can return back in one week.My truck needed extensive suspension repair. He fixed it all inOne day and for $90 less than his original quote.Wont keep your car forever and wont cheat you

I just got My Wheel barring done. The price was less than I expected to pay and the service was phenomenal. I dont understand how any one could not give five stars. He managed to squeeze me in today even though he was booked up until next week. I think he felt bad for me because my car was so bad. Than God for him.. I would go back and Definitely recommend this place to others

Hoods is a great place for finding out what is wrong with your car and getting it taken care of at a reasonable cost. I took a friend there after having gone to auto Zone and the owner not only correctly identified the b problem but suggested the least expensive solution first. I would say they have integrity and skill. They were busy but not too busy to make sure we understood what needed to be done.

No. Just no. Seriously, no. Repairs were faulty, price was as high as a normal shop. They didn't fix the car correctly, and charged me more to cover their mistakes.On another occasion they charged me for services and product not rendered. When I came back to have them finish the job, they said come back another day and then complained about me coming back. Replacement parts were of poor quality.I thought it was going to be OK because the owner is supposed to be a preacher, I was mistaken.

ONE of ONLY 2 CAR REPAIR SHOPS I TRUST! BUSY! BEGAN GOING TO BUTCH ABOUT 12 YRS AGO! HE TALKS FAST SO U MUST SLOW HM DOWN A BIT, BT NICE & THE MUSIC'S ALWAYS THE BEST IF U MUST WAIT! PLEASED WITH REPAIRS. ONLY DRAWBACK HE'S NOT OPEN ON WKENDS! MANY TIMES U MUST LEAVE CAR OR CALL AHEAD & MAKE APPT STAY/WAIT HE'LL ADVISE!

I'm from Ky but now live in Detroit and I felt right at home taking my car here for a radiator to be put on. Ordered radiator from advanced auto, dropped car off around 930 or 10 and was done by 3. Charger had been sitting since last September '18 but now running perfectly January '19.

Hood's Car Care is GREAT! Went to them for some electrical work on a convertible. Hood went through the entire electrical system and found the problem. Communication was excellent. Highly Recommend!

Hood's Car Care Clinic is great because Butch took the time out to show me and explained to me what needed to been fixed I feel he does really care wished I had gone to his clinic sooner
