I d like to edit my review of Hamtramck Hardware .. Since my original post whereby I was not satisfied with the pricing of both the 15 and 20 lb. propane tanks being the same, they have dropped their refill price to $12.99 for either of the labeled sizes and have apologized for any confusion. This is the lowest price I have found to date besides Baker s which is quite a distance for me and wouldn t be worth the drive. Most everyone here is personable and I am again patronizing this establishment!

Very good Customer Service! I came in looking for some stuff and they helped me find them as soon as I came in the shop. I believe the workers name was Elias. Thanks Elias! Would recommend!

Fantastic customer service at this store from everyone. Big shoutout to BIG SAF working the cashier station for helping me pick out the perfect grill, explaining what I need for it and arranging a delivery and assembly for me. One of the store managers was very helpful and I didn't feel rushed or like I was inconveniencing them asking questions. The item was delivered right on schedule and was hassle free. Thanks BIG SAF!

I frequent this place of business often and I have for several years. The store is clean, well stocked and beautifully organized. Customer service is great. My concern and experience is the issue of refilling propane tanks. I've witnessed this behavior during the servicing of other customers as well. The young man has since been replaced. This is wonderful! Good news. Thank you. Please remain honest. This is better to do.

Workers are helpful and knowledgeable of the products they have in stock. If they don't have it they will put in a special order for you. It's a good hardware that doesn't have inflated prices in the neighborhood.Always a pleasure deal with the man that work back there,They treat you like family with respect and honesty will always be my first option to go to them for me and my family.Thank you for your services

These guys were open on Thanksgiving Day! They were super kind and helped me find the few items I was looking for. Their prices were reasonable - a very pleasant surprise. I like local merchants, and these folks made my project easy and affordable. Nice work.

Not only legit reviews, but legit benchmarks. Also some occasional surprises, like BIG SAF. The important thing is they use lots of data to back up their reviews, regardless of the product.

TLDR: This place is awesome and if they were closer this would be the only place I would shop.My furnace quit working on a sunday, and after calling and finding every local place was closed or didn't have the part I started getting desperate. I live in Ohio so when I called this place I wasn't looking forward to the drive but freezing seemed worse. When I first called they said they didn't have one in stock, but i received a call back several minutes later and an employee went above and beyond to find one in a warranty box and call me back! Knowing that I will probably never be a regular customer and not like it was an expensive part, I was really shocked, these people genuinely care about other people. GO BLUE ;-)
