Just had my vehicle serviced here today. I was able to get my work done with in great timing. Matt was knowledgeable and transparent about the work he would do. Price was great. Work even better. I highly recommend them.Okay it's been 7 months since I have had this work done on my truck and it's holding strong! So greatful that I found these guys when I needed them.

Was referred to Father and Son by Automotive ER. Very satisfied with their quick and efficient service. It is a first come first service. I was only there for 30 minutes. Matt diagnosed the problem and quickly fixed it. Highly recommend.

Thank you so much for fixing my car this morning! My first time coming here, My rusted pipe came apart after I hit a little bump yesterday and it was so embarrassing driving it lol , it was so LOUD! lol, fast forward I was the first customer there and the young gentleman greeted me with a smile, some place of business are so grumpy and I wasn t sure if I wasn t going to be received, he was very nice! ,I left work early to come here , I came a couple of minutes early , I was willing to stay in the car and wait, but he came to the car and I explained the situation and was done in 20 minutes or so, THANK YOU VERY MUCH KING!

I went in expecting to pay a hundred dollars more than I paid, and it only took them 15 mom's to fix my muffler. Now my car is so quiet you can't tell it's on. I highly recommend.

I was in a jam. My muffler had fallen off of my 2001 Ford F150. I searched around and finally decided to go to Father and Son Muffler Clinic on Michigan Ave , in Detroit. It was a Saturday, the only day I could take it because if a busy work schedule during the week, and they ate closed Sunday. It was 9:50am and they were completely booked. They had even turned away a couple of motorists because they close at noon on Saturdays. I pleaded with the gentleman and after a bit of deliberation, and consulting with an associate they took on the job.The price was unbeatable, and they went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied. My truck hasn't been so quiet in quite a while and I am thrilled to say, IF YOU NEED MUFFLER SERVICE, CHOOSE FATHER AND SON MUFFLER CLINIC. They'll get you together!!

Love this place. If you need any type of exhaust repair I would highly recommend this place. It's nowhere close to where I live but they've done work for me in the past. I was so happy with the work that when I needed an entire new exhaust on my Jeep I took it to them to take care of it. Their price was great and as I expected they did great work. They had my Jeep done in about 3 hours. It's a small place and they can get busy but if you need a place that does great work and gives you a more than fair price then this is definitely the place to go.

I was referred by another quality establishment - Automotive ER. He said he was partnered with this shop for over a decade, to handle the things he doesn't do in his shop.The man who greeted was friendly and straight forward and pulled my car into one of the bays within 5 minutes of my arrival. He lifted it up, noted a few of the things he could see wrong, quoted me a price, then continued to noted other defects. I assumed at that time that there would be a running total(which would have been totally fine, as the initial quote was beyond reasonable).He directed me to their office, which was definitely a working office, no frills but was air conditioned, but I was allowed to hang out in the garage, so I did that. He then welded my muffler back to the pipe, rehung it, added another hanger, as one had rusted off, sealed a crack in my other muffler and tac-welded a heatshield near my manifold that had separated. He let me know the work was complete and rang me up for the price he originally quoted me. I wad pretty much stunned. I tried to give him more money and he wouldn't take it.This was the most painless experience I have ever had at an automotive shop and I hope these folks have all the success they could want. I don't want to say what I paid, cuz it doesn't even make sense to me, but it's the first time I have ever had exhaust repair on a subaru forester that cost me less than $700. And it cost a lot less. God bless these guys. And big thanks to Automotive ER for sending me over there.

These guys are the BEST! After servicing a recall with my dealership, I had been told I needed a whole new exhaust system. These guys showed me the problem while my car was on the lift, explained how the system worked and fixed expertly with a low cost, simple weld. Made my day and made me believe there are still honest and straightforward mechanics out there! HIGHLY recommend!Service: Exhaust

Father & Son did an amazing job on my Toyota FJ Cruiser. John showed me what needed to be done and the price was great. My truck is actually quieter than it's ever been. Please don't waste your time with other places. These guys get it done!

They are professional. And the most important things they are not trying to steal they fix the problem with most effective way. I was affraid that need to change the whole muffler but thankfully they fixed by changing only the broken part i will advice anyone to go there

They did an excellent job on my F150 with fabricating and welding the tail pipes. And at a super reasonable price. Other muffler shop quoted 250 for same work while this team were able to get it done in 100

I brought my 2010 Fusion to Father & Son to replace my newly stolen catalytic converter. John pulled my car right in when I arrived; gave me a quick estimate to replace my converter and flex pipe leading to it (which was compromised), and told me it would take about an hour. I ran up to O'Reilly to pick up a new O2 sensor and lead wire that the thief snipped. By the time I returned to the shop, Matt was done with the vehicle. He scanned the vehicle to ensure the new O2 sensor was correct. When he fired it up, Matt noticed a slight rattle, that within 5 minutes, he identified the spot on the exhaust making contact.. torched and adjusted it, and sent me on my way at no extra charge. The car runs quieter than before my converter was stolen. These guys are excellent, and their prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend them to anyone. They also have large bays that will accommodate tall work vans/vehicles. 5 STARS ALL AROUNDService: Exhaust

Quick, reasonable pricing, had me back on the road within 30 minutes! Replaced my exhaust system from my exhaust manifold back. I run a mobile grooming company and when my unit developed a very loud knocking sound coming from the exhaust system I drove all the way from Ann Arbor to get here and thank god I did!!
