My experience was as a single woman with no understanding of car s what s so ever was a 10/10. They were patient and understanding, took very good care of me. Most women worry about being scammed but these gentlemen were courteous and professional. Offers additional information. Will return and recommend to a friend

Where to start? First off, although I initially thought they gave me a good deal. They definitely ripped me off and messed my car up. They charged me $80 for an oil flush, then charged me $60 to put new oil in. I didn t really even want to go because of all the mixed reviews, but it s right by my house so I thought why not? Big mistake, I had my friend test the oil after they did it; and he asked me why the color was off. I don t really know anything about cars except the basics. So when he asked me that question I was caught off guard. It looked fine to me, but of course I d think that considering I don t know how it s supposed to look. Which is why I used him for a second opinion anyway. I just know black equals bad. He asked me where I got it from, and I told him. He immediately recommended I either don t come back here anymore. Or have him come with me because he feels I got ripped off.I panicked and had my grandad come over. He also told me wherever I got this change from, go somewhere else. He said the oil was bad. Not bad enough for me to need another change right then and there, but that I d need to get one soon; and he told me it hadn t even been flushed properly. I was heated, $140 dollars down the drain. I ve since found a new oil shop to go to. After explaining the whole ordeal they did it RIGHT and offered me to come by anytime for a top off, no extra charge. They also told me my engine was making clicking noises. Most likely due to the bad oil, and that it wasn t bad but not something I should ignore. So now, I have to go and figure out what s wrong with my car. This oil shop is NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE, because my car was JUST FINE before. Come here at your own discretion. I m glad this experience led me to a place that actually knows what it s doing, but I can t say I m too happy on what it took to get there. I m not angry anymore, just disappointed. Please do better, and be well.

DT auto-repair provide me with excellent Service. The sales rep/owner, was very polite? He ExplainThe problems I'm having with my car. In a way I understood.They're customers for service is excellent .I will be returning in the future for my car repairs work.

I just came in with 2 tires with the belt. Broken and DT auto-repair work with me on my finances. So I can get the tires and get to work today and come back for the rest of repair. Later this week and he made sure I was safe. I really appreciate them. I haven't been to a mechanic or a person like this ever, That has so much care for their customer. I truly recommend to everyone!!

UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a mechanic that won't up charge you. The owner is very respectful and took the time to explain what needed to be done. The mechanic repaired my car quickly. Because I work in the area, the mechanic dropped me off at work picked me up when he was done working on my car. I can't express how great these guys are! Give them a try a support this new business.

This has got to be the best car shop I ve been too they were nice and very patient with me. They told me everything that was wrong with my car and fixed it. This place is a 10/10. And they don t try to get over on you they work with you. I ll recommend this place to anyone that need their car fixed.

The new owner of 2-3 years, went Above & Beyond to help & fixed this Black Christian RN's vehicle (which I did not know my newly purchased veh /hoopty was discontinued). After my MVA on the lodge fwy on 06-12-22, on my way to work. I was trapped, someone(I don't know who is in control of the equipment) had to use the 'Jaws Of Life' to get me out my 4-cycliner car. Severe Concussion & C-3/C-4 FX. So I did not know what I was doing most of those days. And getting transpo to keep my cash flo, was my priority (I am still recovering from "The Covid Era").P.S. Mr. Smiley's prices, were EXCELLENT! I have about $250-$500 worth of work for Mr. Smilely to do, so my new car will not run like a hoopty, cause it sho nuff don't look like one! I just bought a car and they didn t tell me the gas line was messed up. I went here and they were able to fix the gas line really fast gave me a great deal and they was very nice. I really appreciate them and recommend them to whoever goes here on Davison in Detroit.

EXCELLENT SERVICE. I NEEDED MY THERMOSTAT REPLACED ON MY VEHICLE AND WISS HELPED ME WITHOUT A PROBLEM. HE ALSO GAVE ME A GOOD PRICE AND ENLIGHTENED ME ON SOME THINGS ABOUT MY VEHICLE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Let me tell you about the GENTLEMEN at this establishment!!!! Helpful and respectful!!! Got my mommy right together! She happened to need a tire they did NOT have .. They literally went to pick up another BRAND NEW tire at ANOTHER shop and STILL kept ORIGINAL quoted price!!! **Warning do not do business with this Shop**. Auto Parts suppliers and Customers.... Ameer (Smiley) is a crook. He wrote Holbrook Auto Parts a check from a closed account. He has promised to pay but only gives us the run around. He has no integrity as a business man and I can only imagine what he doing to his customers. I will be filing a police report. I don't think this business will last with these kind of business practices...You are a professional scammer. You wrote the check from your old Southfield location. You and I spoke about you making good on the check. You never mentioned for 3 weeks that the engine was bad. If the engine was bad then bring it back and stop being a crook and I will remove my review. If you don t bring it back then everyone will see what kind of crook you are. Also it s not smart to threaten a business publicly.

Only stating facts: Working in the area I went to this place for convenience. Never will do that again. There repair lasted less then a week and I knew not to trust a shop like this in the 1st place once they overcharged me. Save yourself from paying 3 times like I did. Paying these crooks, paying for letting these people get me out of hard earned money, and paying a real shop to actually fix the problem Im paying for. No band aids

Had my tire repaired. Went to an establishment before Smiley's and they tried to rob me. Smiley's was very professional and honest! Did great work. Will definitely go back to him if I have any other issues. HM

Really honest owner who not only diagnosed our problem and helped us out a jam on a road trip from Chicago. Honestly, if you have any doubts of which mechanic you can trust, take it from me that the owner could have totally taken advantage of two out of towner yuppies and didn t. We tipped for his time and also thank you very much!

Got a quote on a problem I had no previous knowledge on. Charged me nothing. Took my car to another shop and was charged $150 for the same diagnoses it took Smiley's 15 minutes to check for free. Appreciate being down to earth and helpful. Will get work done here on my other cars.

First thing that I said was do you know how to work on my particular vehicle? His reply was yes off course... This was the biggest mistake in going to smiley's. 1 week later and my truck is not fixed and is in worse shape then when I brought it in... Went in for brake replacement and was given recommendations which I okayed. Work is not going well because he didn't know what he was doing and now I'm here to pick up my truck and he's nowhere to be found and neither is my truck after he told me 10 mit would be ready. He's not even there and the shop isn't open although the business hrs clear say that they are. So for bad mechanic shops you must file a complaint with secretary of state....He doesn't even deserve 1 starServices: Auto brake repair, Auto brake replacement

Hands down the best service with a smile. My brakes needed some TLC and as postal worker I never have the time except holidays. The shop happened to be open the day after Christmas which was also a Sunday. He was able to fit me in and do a great job for a fair price was even able to give a better price on tire I had an appointment for elsewhere.Over the weekend I had flat tire and knew exactly where to go. My uncle took his car here , first it wasn t repaired correctly . He talked too the owner/ manager about , they said they d have it towed their , then they said they d pick up them selves two week later the car is still in the driveway and all we get from owner/ manger is that we will get it , mind you they were to have fixed correctly in the first place which didn t happen now they keep blowing us off with lies dragging things out filter than they need too be , first owned your work , I get it nobody s perfect things do happen but own , second fix the problem ! Give me anything but an excuse

Went there this afternoon (Sunday) with a slow leak in my front tire. I was a little worried because not every shop or tech is able to work on or familiar with Tesla specific requirements when it comes to lift points, required pucks, or correct torque for lug nuts after wheel installation. I was literally stressing as any damage related to Tesla battery would cost thousands. Then, I met Amir. What a wonderful professional, he let me drive the car into the shop, he assured me that he has worked on a 100 Teslas before mine, and I trusted him. He sprayed his magic solution (water and soap) on the tire, found the nail that was causing the leak, fixed it in 5 minutes, and filled the tire to the correct pressure. Amir had a wonderful but confident smile, did the work in record time, never removed the tire/wheel from the car, and wouldn t even take money for his work. I highly recommend this shop for all your car maintenance needs. Amir and his crew are very trust worthy and extremely knowledgeable. Thank you Amir!
